Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol LIVE: Date, UK start time, undercard and how to follow huge undisputed clash in Saudi Arabia
Link Talksport

Quote
The pair were due to meet in June after months of build-up only to be postponed due to Beterbiev suffering a ruptured meniscus.
Bivol 22-0 (11 KOs) instead successfully defended his WBA light-heavyweight titles by stopping Malik Zinad in the sixth round.
He will now return to Saudi Arabia for the undisputed clash with Beterbiev, who boasts the IBF, WBC and WBO championships.

It's worth the wait. This might become one of the most exciting fights in the Light Heavyweight Division. Beterbiev is old and many are expecting Bivol to win this match because of that age difference. He could be slower without a doubt but let us also consider the strength of a man as he grows old. Punches become heavier and one good punch could also make a difference.

Roy Jones Jr. on the other hand also agrees that the younger fighter Bivol will win this match.
I have not seen the odds yet but I expect Bivol to be the favorite here.
Whose side are you on?  Huh

Both are good fighters, it's funny that both have titles that they won in 2017 and still hold them today. Which means that these two fighters are incredible. But in this fight one of them will have to lose and if we were talking about other fighters I would look at the age issue, the younger fighter could have a slight advantage, but the problem is that Dmitry Bivol in 22 fights only won 11 by KO if I'm not mistaken, in the last fight against Malik Zinad he won by KO, but 2 fights before that, I'm talking about the fights against Lyndon Arthur, Ramirez, Alvarez... were not by KO, while Artur Beterbiev is 20 and won 20 by KO, this guy even at 39 years old still wins fights by KO. That's why in my opinion Artur Beterbiev will win this fight.

On Ansem vs. Bitboy for cryprofight night, they organized for the both of them to face each other very much similar to a fight in boxing and MMA hehehehh. This fight might be in boxing similar to Ansem's first fight where he lost against the British crypto whale Barneyboi.

It appears that they are very much serious. Also Ansem's head is so very large, the arms of his sunglasses cannot reach the whole of his ears hehehehehh.

This is funny.

I know bitboy but I have missed his boxing match in the past. I cannot tell if this is a real serious match but, if it's all about entertainment.

It seems that more and more personalities are entering into it and this is the kind of entertainment that people love nowadays.

It's the battle between of Power Vs. Speed that we are seeing here.

Many have been waiting for this fight to happen. For me, this is the most anticipated fight since the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight years ago. Beterbiev might be old, but you can't remove the fact that he's one, if not has the heaviest punch out there and you can see it on his record with 100% KO Ratio rate. On the other hand, Bivol's speed is one of the best in his division, and he's agile as well. TBH, before the injury happens on Beterbiev, I'm rooting him to win this fight, but since then, I'm slowly leaning towards Bivol because that same injury might affect him during the fight.

I looked at Razed.com and currently, there's no odds on their website yet. With how close the fight might be, it might take a long time before they release the odds. I will not be surprised if this fight will end up in a split draw, but most probably, this will end up in a split decision or a majority decision with Bivol winning it. Huge respect to Beterbiev still though and those 100% KO ratio.

As far as the odds goes, Bivol is the slight favorite, not just because he is the younger fighter, he is also the most active and then Beterbiev is coming from a injury, so we really don't know if it will affect him in this fight and we also have to think that he is the older of the two. And with that that he is the more powerful boxer, sometimes it will really take a lot of wear and tear on him.

If the fight goes to distance, I'm seeing Bivol winning a majority or even a split decision win because he is a more volume puncher here. But if Beterbiev clip him with a solid blow, who knows, maybe he will go down and might not recover in this fight.

Damn, Dubois absolutely destroyed AJ last night at Wembley, in front of almost 100k fans, and retained his IBF belt.
Joshua got knocked down in round one and continued to get the beatings until the referee stopped it in round 5.
Honestly, did anyone expect the fight to go that way? AJ was a massive favourite. Media are already speculating on whether AJ has any future or if this is it for him.

Any thoughts on what's next for both of them?

Here are some 3 minutes fight highlights for those who haven't seen it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xwy2Zks1C6M

AJ has never had a great ability to take punches. Once he’s hurt, he doesn’t recover well. People were overestimating Joshua based on how he performed against Wallin and Ngannou, who Fury had struggled against, but his defensive flaws were a glaring weakness. The strategy to beat him has always been simple. One hard, well placed punch on the chin is enough to put him in serious trouble. After that it becomes easy to pick him apart.

AJ might still continue boxing because he can still generate a lot of money, but without punch resistance, he won’t attain championship status again.
He probably needs to build up his career again with that lose to Dubois. But do AJ still has time to that, rebuild his career to fight and get cherry pick up fight for his confidence? They did that after his 2nd lost to Usyk. But not sure if he can do it again here.

AJ is already 34 years old, and as we saw, as he age, his punch resistance is going up, everyone that hurts him in the early rounds, expects that he will lose via knockout. Once exception is against the aging Klitschko. AJ was still very young that time and so he was able to recover and we all know that Klitschko has a glass chin. But once AJ was exposed by Ruiz in their first fight, we have seen his weaknesses already.

And there were videos of Fury saying that he lost a future fight worth $150 million. We have been wanting a all British fight all along, AJ and Fury for that title of the best British HW, so for sure with AJ out, it really derailed all the plans of HE Turki.

Anyway, AJ said that he will not retire because as you have said, he can still generate a lot of money.

Maybe if Fury will lose to Usyk, maybe we can see Fury vs AJ still, even coming from a big lose, as all as the fans wanted to see them fight, then maybe it can still put setup just for the money and then the loser can go retire.

Yeah, pretty much it was like the Andy Ruiz first fight. When Joshua was exposed by Ruiz, it's just simply another big puncher that he will fought in the future might give him the same problems. And that's what we have seen here, Dubois with his youth and punching power and his great chin as well dominated Joshua in their fight.

And even in that 5th round wherein we thought that there will be a momentum shift as Joshua hits Dubois with two great shot causing Joshua to back up a bit, but still he was not that affected and he keeps focus on getting back and once he landed that right hook, it's over for Joshua as he was not able to get up in time and obviously very hurt and the referee counting him out for good.

Jaime Munguia vs Erik Bazinyan on Sept 21.

We all know that Munguia failed in his attempt to beat Canelo and now he is back in action once again to reclaim his glory. He will be fighting Bazinyan, who is rated in all of the governing bodies of the 168 lbs division.

Munguia though is a big favorite here to win, as Bazinyan is almost 8:1 underdog.

I want to see Munguia win in this fight and then set up a huge fight against Berlanga. They have been rivals for quite sometime now and since they've both lost to Canelo Alvarez but gain a lot of experience, this could be a great fight in my opinion.

Erik Bazinyan looked like a solid prospect up until his last fight where he was awarded a controversial split decision draw against the unheralded Shakeel Phinn. If that fight is any indication then Munguia should have an easy win.

A fight with Berlanga was hyped up for a while but they never came to an agreement and instead they each held out for a Canelo payday. Munguia is more experienced against better competition. He would be the favorite if that fight got made but it would still be an exciting slugfest that I would like to see.

Yeah, probably a tune up fight for Munguia here, he was coming off a lost from Canelo (same with what we see this weekend for Berlanga). So just getting back in the win column and his confidence back, this is a fight that Munguia should win.

I agree that a fight with Berlanga will really bring the best out of this two young fighters. They are hype now as the new face of 168 lbs not name Canelo. But if they can fight at the start of the year, then it will really be a great fight and a slugfest and I wouldn't discount that there could be a rematch if the fight is going to be very close one.
Interesting to see if how both fighters will showcase their skills and talents since that they barely needed that exposure to attract more fans and sponsors,  like what you mentioned I also see a possible rematch if the fight ends up with a close scoring or possible draw maybe, but more on the side that if fans got hook with them it will going to be profitable for both fighters,  they need not just to win but also to attract more fans to watch and follow their journey,  it's not just sport but a business 😉

Does anyone want to witness another cryptofight night with Bitboy? This will be very funny. He will fight the Solana influencer Ansem heheheheh. These influencers are the very much hated in social media therefore this will be very entertaining.

It also appears that because of Bitboy's victory against a memecoin influencer who was also a karate influencer and Ansem's loss against Barneyboi, the gamblers in Polymarket are speculating that Bitboy might win.

https://polymarket.com/event/ansem-vs-bitboy-crypto-fight-night?tid=1726811090544

This fight is being scheduled in a conference in Dubai on December 6.

And I think this is the very reason why Munguia or at least his manager chooses to fight Erik, in paper he looks like a good prospect. But with Munguia's experienced fighting Canelo, I think his mindset could be very different moving forward as he would mature and be motivated.

A fight with Berlanga was hyped up for a while but they never came to an agreement and instead they each held out for a Canelo payday. Munguia is more experienced against better competition. He would be the favorite if that fight got made but it would still be an exciting slugfest that I would like to see.

Yeah, it's been years already, and when Berlanga is still with Top Rank there are rumors that this two might face each other as they are the new face of boxing. But an ironic twist, Munguia has signed with Top Rank already, so who knows if this can be set up in the future or not. But in any case, I would also like to see them in a slugfest and for sure there's going to be hate between the two.

Yes, all of that must be done because now for the new division will make him fight with boxers he has never faced before, there will be many challenges that must be faced and if he can really prepare himself well I sure Benavidez can be great fighter here.
Several fights have been prepared and we will see them soon, I just hope that all of Benavidez fights can be completed well and win as his fans also want, Benavidez will be one of the best fighters in this division for the future.
In an effort to meet Canelo, hopefully there will be an opportunity to be realized, if these two fighters really meet then of course this will be very spectacular title fight and big fight.
He has a bright future indeed and that's why his name keeps popping up as a potential fight for Canelo, a Mexican vs Mexican fight, but so far Canelo doesn't want none of Benavidez that many suspected that he is ducking, or just making a lot of excuses like demanding a huge paycheck from the powerful broker in Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh. But how can you blame Canelo for not facing David at this point of his career, the dude is young and bigger and a powerful puncher.

That's why him and his dad opted to go to Light-Heavyweight division, a bigger division so that he can have face boxers. But so far he had injured his hands, but let's see, as it's been rumored that he will be facing the winner of the division's unification fight between Bivol and Beterbiev. That is the fight that we wanted to see from Benavidez if he really has the balls to go against this top level fighters.
Benavidez is quite young and he was once champion in the super middleweight class, even Benavidez became the only youngest boxer to win the super middleweight title so this will be concern for Canelo if the two really meet.
It is clear that Benavidez can be mandatory challenger and there are other fighters who should be Canelo opponents but we can see it as Canelo material not fulfilling all the fights in facing the existing mandatory challengers and this be concluded as an avoidance by Canelo.

Regarding the fight that will bring Benavidez together with Bivol or Beterbiev, it has indeed become news that is widely discussed because Bivol and Beterbiev are fighters who do occupy the light heavyweight class and they are tough challengers for Benavidez.
If Benavidez can beat one of the two fighters in this division then it is big step for his career and becomes one of the successes of his desire.

I agree to that, Canelo is more on money as he knows that his no longer on his peak and taking that risk fighting a challenger with a decent chance of beating him might ruined his plans in making more money while he still has that charisma on both promoters and fans, just need for Benavidez to keep improving and wait for his time, I mean for another champ to give him that chance, maybe whoever wins from Bivol and  Beterbiev.
He wouldn't fight either one of them. Just imagine, if Benavidez wins, it means he's better than Bivol, and Canelo wouldn't want that since he already lost to Bivol in their previous fight. Even more so if Bivol wins again. So, we shouldn't expect it to happen. Canelo seems more focused on easy fights for the money now and probably doesn't want to risk losing again after what happened with Bivol.

If he wins then it might be his time now though there's no schedule or any commitment from both camps, in terms of Canelo like what I mentioned he likes to fight easier journey as he knew that he only got some time from his  career he's maximizing the potential in terms of money matters, more esy fights and keep collecting checks, not minding any belts just to continue while fans still buying tickets and supporting him while still capable to fight.

He needs to adopt as moving up means many more challenges before achieving his goals, he's still young and capable to adjust when it's needed, once an opportunity open for him then he needs to grab and make sure to showcase his skills and talents, not just to win the fight but also wins the fans, I like to see if that deal against Canelo will materialize knowing that it's been awhile his name was been mentioned but still no confirmation about the possible fight to happen.
