118 lbs division is going to see a lot of fights for this year as Inoue has vacated all the belts.
And for Filipino fans out there, there are 3 in the hunt for the either of the 4 belts, Astrolabio, Gaballo and of course Nonito Donaire. Each will fight for the belt no doubt about it.
Vincent Astrolabio-Emmanuel Rodriguez was ordered already by the IBF
Donaire vs Moloney by WBC although Moloney show intention not to pursue the fight. So Donaire will have to look for someone to fight for the WBC
Moloney though might look for Reymart Gaballo for WBO belt.
So it's going to be exciting for Filipino boxing fans once more as we could add another champion in the list before the end of the year.
(Worst case scenario, 3 of them lost,
)
Wow, I didn't know that, thanks for the information.
I guess this image will help to avoid confusion as I am really getting dizzy about the rankings and how they match players.

https://www.boxingscene.com/rankingsSo Moloney has different choices because he was at the top rank in 3 divisions But if he does pick to fight Nonito Donaire for the WBC title that means what's left on the other divisions will be fighting for it as a mandatory case. So, a Moloney versus Vincent Astrolabio is also possible, right? As long as Astrolabio had not decided to take the IBF fight against Rodriguez.
In WBC, next to Donaire is Rungvisai who has an upcoming fight this February. He will be up against Gaballo if that happens as he is next in line.
It becomes a big puzzle whenever the champion leaves 4 titles.
