@FinneysTrueVision. Is this fight for Pacman a comeback fight or is this only an exhibition? He is 45 years old already, will he fight again if he wins against Conor Benn? This will be headshaking, however, I will certainly watch these fights hehee.

On Anthony Joshua, presently it appears much of the fans of boxing are speculating a fight between him and Tyson Fury. But would it not be much better if he should challenge Oleksandr Usyk again? I reckon this new Joshua might knockout Usyk. Ben Davison appears to have made Anthony Joshua discover something from himself.

They said this is a video of Manny Pacquiao shadow box in preparation for a Conor Benn fight?

https://twitter.com/boxingscene/status/1769063564768149545?s=20

Again, it's too early to say and for now it's still a rumor. But in boxing, we all know that if there is this kind of indication and there are noises around, it could be true though. But then again, everything should still be official, so as boxing fans, hope this is true as we want to see Manny again in the ring with a pro boxer and not just exhibition match to bring out the best in him and not holding back any power.

Pacquiao has been in attendance at these Saudi Arabia fights recently so I think there is genuine interest from matchmakers to see him back in the ring. Connor Benn, as long as he’s not eating “contaminated” eggs, is a perfectly suitable opponent for Pacquiao to make his comeback against and gauge what level he can still compete at.

Terence Crawford will eventually vacate or be stripped of his belts so Pacquiao might see this as an opportunity to make one last run at a championship. I don’t expect Pacquiao to fight a high risk, low reward fighter like Jaron Ennis but there are other boxers such as Mario Barrios and Giovani Santillan that he could fight for a vacant title if he beats Benn.

From the video, it seems that it is just one of his regular workouts of Pacquiao. There's no big deal on this for all we know. Better for Pacquiao to continue his retirement outside of boxing. Enjoy what he has achieved in this sports. I can understand, if he really loves the boxing sports, but should consider his age. Give the stage to younger generation. His era was already over. He already done so much in this sports.

I saw this fight,

Specially Oscar Valdez vs Liam Wilson, although Wilson is 3:1 underdog in this fight, but I think this is going to be a war. Both fighters are bangers and doesn't hold up anything. I think this is going to be a war. Both are on a comeback trail and they know that their careers are on the line and whoever losses this fight might have to take a break in my opinion. Valdez is coming from a lost to Emmanuel Navarette, both of them actually lost to the champion.

Wilson was also underestimated when he faced Emanuel Navarrete but he almost pulled off the upset. If the referee hadn’t given Navarrete extra time to recover after he was knocked down the fight could’ve had a different result. Once again Wilson has been handpicked to try and make the A-side fighter look good. With the amount of wear and tear on Valdez it might turn out to be a more difficult fight than expected.

And as we talk about Emmanuel Navarette and saying that he will move up in weight, there is this news,

Quote
Emanuel Navarrete is pursuing a leap into rarefied air by fighting for his fourth belt before age 30 on May 18 in San Diego, against Ukraine’s Denys Berinchyk, atop an ESPN card.

https://www.boxingscene.com/just-like-duran-emanuel-navarrete-pursues-lightweight-belt-fourth-title--182156

And with that, I think the Valdez vs Wilson winner could be declared as interim champion once Navarette had his fight.

^ I think that comparison ends when both of this boxers lost to Navarette, although it was very different in a sense the Navarette dominated Oscar Valdez, but as pointed out by @inthelongrun, Liam's fight is very close, and if I'm not mistaken, he score a knockdown against Navarette and everyone is excited as we thought that he will defeat him. But Navarette comes back and win.

And if Navarette goes up in weight, his title will be vacant and this one rank second and forth will have that chance to get that belt. At least it will not be gifted to either one of them. So they really have to take each other heads off to get that belt in this fight.

^^ I think it's more on Oscar Valdez to win this fight. He has lost to Shakur and Navarette, those two are really great boxers. But I think the pressure will be on his shoulder here as for me this is a must win for him. Although 130 lbs is pretty much stack up at this point, champions like O'Shaquie Foster the WBC reigning titlist. So it will be very hard for Valdez to climb up in ranks. But if he wanted to, he can start by defeating Wilson. They are in the WBO, so maybe the winner might face either Albert Bell as he is the number 1 rank and it could be a title eliminator and face Navarette. So it will take 2 fights for Valdez to have another shot, hard road but maybe he could still do it.

There are rumors of Navarette moving up in weight for a chance to become a 4 division world champion. So maybe the winner of this fight can fight for the vacant WBO belt. But if Navarette is not planning to move up, I think it is better for Valdez to focus on the other champions. Roach of the WBA, WBC champ Foster and IBF ruler Joe Cordina are better for him than the tough as nails WBO champion.

This is a great fight anyways. This is a great opportunity for Liam Wilson to prove that his close fight with Navarette was not a fluke. I am planning to bet on Wilson in this fight.
Navarrete is great boxer and he already has titles in different divisions but if Navarrete really makes weight to be able to unify the titles perfectly then that is the right choice, he really has become one of the best and has very good record.
In 40 fights he has won 38 wins, 31 of which were by knockout, moreover Navarrete also only suffered one defeat against Daniel Argueta and this defeat occurred in his 6th fight in 2012.
Most impressive fight in my opinion was when Navarrete managed to beat Oscar Valdez and defend the WBO super featherweight world championship belt, this was very impressive fight.
I sure Navarrete did make some decisions that were worth risking because staying only in the class he had mastered didn't make him feel satisfied.

In this fight, I personally saw that Oscar Valdes actually had far more advantages than Liam Wilson, after all Oscar Valdes is also former WBO bantamweight world champion and former WBC lightweight world champion.
In this battle, making Oscar Valdes the favorite is the right choice and if you choose to bet on Liam Wilson tonight, that is quite risky choice in my opinion.

Yes, I also thought that Navarette was going to move up in weight as he had a hard time against Robson Conceicao. Although he is still listed as their champion, but perhaps the winner here if Navarette officially moves up could be the interim.

This is a great fight anyways. This is a great opportunity for Liam Wilson to prove that his close fight with Navarette was not a fluke. I am planning to bet on Wilson in this fight.

It was also a great fight between Liam and Navarette, and I thought that he is going to upset Emmanuel that time. And that is the first time that we might have seen Navarette having weight issues already. And perhaps his fight with Robson, just to clean up the division is his final at this weight class.

I think the exhibition fight with Buakaw will still push through because i have seen Manny's video training hard for this.
The fight between Manny and Buakaw is one of the legendary fight agendas between two Asian athletes who so far have millions of fans in the world, currently these two legendary fighters have long since quit their official fights and on April 20 will face each other to show their fighting skills in a fight titled Legend Fight with a fairly large prize.

I think all eyes will certainly be on Manny who we have always known as a boxing legend and of course he will have no trouble facing Buakaw in the exhibition match even though he is now 45 years old, in fact I think it will be an easy fight for Manny who has a lot of boxing experience compared to Buakaw who is only a muang thai fighter,  Reportedly the fight has boxing rules which only use his hands and will obviously be very difficult for Buakaw as a former Muay Thai fighter, Buakaw was previously accustomed to using elbows, knees, and kicks.
Reportedly this fight will be held at Icon Siam Park, Thailand and will last as many as 6 rounds and each round lasts 3 minutes, and the rest time is 2 minutes.

Adjustments with the rule is something that will give Manny additional edge, Buakaw needs to follow that rules and if ever that instinct comes up chances that he might use something that illegal inside boxing rules, I guess even he' popular from that sport Manny can dominate him, as upon watching Manny's training seems that he's still fit and his figthing capabilities still high, though speed might not be the same from what we expect during his prime but the timing and that solid combination which very difficult to anticipate if where it will coming from, that's how Pacquiao throw his punches.

Looking forward to hear more about updates from this upcoming exhibition I know for sure that fans of both figthers missed them and even it's just for entertainment both fighters will show up some enjoyable and entertaining exchanges of punches.

This is a comeback fight for Oscar Valdez and I do agree that this could be fight of the year candidate if they live up to the hype of this fight. This two are warriors in the ring and so with that I expect no less than a action pack fight, and it might not end in the judges scorecard.

Maybe there will be a stoppage, as both are known to bleed early. Cross-roads fight for both of them, and whoever wins will get closer to another title fight. Liam though could be a good underdog, the way I see Valdez at this point of his career, he has too many wars already and it could take toll on his body.

Rumors are circulating about Crawford facing Eubank Jr but I am not buying it. I am not sure what Crawford gets fighting Eubank Jr. and as mentioned by @Kemarit, both are working under Bomac. Or maybe both fighters have issues in the gym that they want to fight each other. But still, Crawford gets nothing fighting Eubank Jr unless he can dictate a catchweight.

Crawford's years are really wasted. Inoue if he wins in his next defense or if Usyk wins against Fury deserve to replace Crawford as the new pound for pound.

Maybe it came from the camp of Eubank Jr, but doesn't make sense. However, I don't see any names in the 147 lbs that could give Crawford a good fight or even more money. Charlo maybe at 160 lbs would be good as we all know that during his fight with Spence, they are going back and forth him and the Charlo's.

But as others have said, it's the rematch that we are all been waiting because as far as we know, Spence has activated it already the last time we heard. But so far, there are no noise about it.

Without a confirmation fans been hang on the air, Crawford's years are being wasted as there's no confirm fight that being updated maybe he's enjoying those millions that he recieved from his win and he's trying to keep that belts and whoever the next figther to challenge him will need to bring him an interest to call for it, not sure what might be the next step for Crawford and that rumor fight against Eubank Jr, is just a publicity to bring Crawford name up or maybe to hype Eubank and who knows if fans buy this maybe they will start creating a channel to negotiate for a possible match up between the these two fighters.

I don't think though that he has made tons of money as compare to his peers like Spence or Canelo. Uncle Bob himself told that Crawford is hard to market or at least his fans are not selling that good and that could be the reason why he didn't sign with Top Rank.

And it's only against Spence that he could have made a lot of money, his biggest paycheck in his career. Maybe we can see the rematch with Spence and it could be at 154 lbs and that's what they are cooking. But let's wait for the official announcement.

Yeah, I think that Crawford is still looking a dance partner for this year, no names have surface except, Canelo and then Spence for a rematch. So I'm also not buying him and Eubank Jr either in US or UK, there is no money in that fight.

I think Inoue's resume for his year might surpassed Crawford for the pound for pound. Specially if Inoue destroys Nery and dispatches him with another knockout reel. Hopefully though Crawford will still have a fight at least this year so that he won't have a ring rust on not making any money for year 2024.

He should fight Boots Ennis, I reckon unless he is doing a tactic similar to Canelo and avoid the best fighter in his division hehehe. I do not know the story, however, the IBF gave the welterweight championship to Boots Ennis after Bud Crawford fought Spence.

But Bud said that he will not get anything fighting Boots Ennis and that's why he totally overlook him at this point. And checking the rankings, yeah, Boots is now the IBF champion. But Bud still holds the other 3 belts so he is still the king of this division.

Bud should get his belt and unify the welterweight division again. But if he does not do this, the boxing promoters should let him fight for the vacant WBC and IBF super welterweight championships vs. Tim Tszyu who is WBO super welterweight champion.

154 lbs could be a good territory for him. He has nothing to proved at 147 lbs, he unified it, beat the hell out of Spence. And if he targets super welterweight and then become a unified champion, then I will say that he will cemented his legacy as the only boxer becoming 3 divisions unified champion in the modern 4 belt era.

How about Manny Pacquiao vs Conor Benn?

Quote
Pacquiao had a face-off with Conor Benn in Saudi Arabia Thursday following the Anthony Joshua-Francis Ngannou weigh-in, and he told Lance Pugmire of Boxing Scene that he's hoping to leave Saudi Arabia with a signed contract to fight the England native.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10112098-manny-pacquiao-ready-to-go-for-fight-vs-conor-benn-amid-contract-talks

I thought that Manny has a fight with Buakaw?

Maybe after this Benn will be next for him? In any case we will see, Manny is still one of the most recognizable fighter in the world, a boxing icon and that could be the reason why everyone is still calling him.

I think the exhibition fight with Buakaw will still push through because i have seen Manny's video training hard for this.

About the Conor Benn fight, i also think that this will push through as they have their first face-off already and i will just consider the Buakaw fight as a tune-up for the Benn encounter. Manny has nothing to prove but the former Senator of the Philippines just love the lime lights that boxing could bring to him.
