It's disappointing indeed but we can't do anything about that, Casimero should not fight as he has a problem, maybe next year he will recover again and take that belt which I'm sure he can as he did not lose that belt inside the ring. When the time comes that Casimero will fight as a challenger, I'm sure he will still be the favorites, nothing would change for sure.

He will eagerly find the way to recover that belt for sure. Knowing the attitude of this man, he will chase whoever holds the belt and challenge to prove that he deserves to hold it. It's a good chance and more exposure again for him if he beat the new champ, then challenge Inoue again and bring more trash talks. Grin

Sad to hear, though, that he needs to remove his belt because of that health concern. I expect that after his doctors approved of his condition, he will be back in action and train harder.

Wait what? after a long wait? It's really disappointing and sad to hear the news. Wishing John Riel a speedy recovery. Hopefully the WBO will not stripped him because of his medical condition, he just need to show cause to the organization.

I'm a bit of surprise by this news, well, I guess it's not only me but many of us here as we are As waiting for this fight for about 2 months ago. As much as we wanted to see Casimero inside the ring still the health of a fighter should always be on top priority. I guess Joseph Agbeko is a good match for Butler and even if it's not Casimero who will be going to fight tomorrow I would still watch the fight. However, I do hope for fast recovery of Casimero and might gonna see him inside the ring by next year on his future fights.

No, he didn't choose. He really doesn't have to choose to be looking a bad guy. He's already the angst through his matches and he got the love of the people with his charisma. That's why he's called people's champ. Just accept the fact that Casimero is like that and don't be too focused with the character that he's showing to the media, he has to do it as it's part of his portrayal to be like that. So if he's getting you in the nerve, I guess he's doing it perfectly since there really are people that are being moved with his stance and character.

Its part of strategy and that's how he make a noise in boxing scene so don't be surprise if he do that since its part of the selling strategy so that they will make the fans feel more excited to their upcoming fight. But we can't deny that Casimero is good and he have something to say towards what he show. So I guess maybe see the entertaining aspect about this fight since if we take his action seriously for sure we will get pissed off on him.

Sometimes it is really effective strategy for a boxer, he can make a lot of noise doing all the trash talking in public before a fight and totally back it up and knocking down opponents. But there could be boxing fans who want Casimero to be the cool guy and not to be trash talker.

I guess we can't take that away from him, it's too late, he already made a name for himself.

So come fight now, hopefully his winning streak will continue with a good win against Butler.

That's his style, he is not actually boastful in real life, he is just doing that to attract the attention of the people so he can sell his fight. What's important is that even if do a lot of trash talks, but he is very entertaining when he fights as long as the opponent is willing to engage in the fight.

Casimero is very popular in the Philippines, he is one of the boxers that the people are hoping to follow the footsteps of Manny Pacquioa.

Now that Pacquiao had retired then theres should be someone who would take the baton and would follow up the steps that Pacquiao did.We do have Donaire and now we do have Casimero and other Filipino boxers out there which are on good standing.

Casimero is indeed good but he would need to prove out more to the world and still a long way to go before reaching on what Pacquiao did able to achieve.
