I'll be more conservative, Criciuma or draw and Cruzeiro win. Today's games aren't that good, I'm not excited to bet on them unfortunately. But the next ones will decide a lot in the table and everything is happening to leave everything for the last round of the championship.

In this round 29, the games that interest me the most are Grêmio x Fortaliza, Atlétigo-MG x Vitória, Athlético-PR x Botafogo, Bragantino x Palmeiras and Corinthians x Internacional...

Among these, I'd bet on a win or a draw for Botafogo, who have been winning in a row, a win for Palmeiras or a draw. The rest is uncertain to me. It is still risky to bet on Corinthians, even though they have started playing well in a short time, but it's still too early to say whether the club has really returned to its good form.

Tite has finally been fired from the Flamengo team, after countless embarrassments and failing to get the team to play good football, I only have one thing to say: goodbye.

To replace him, Flamengo promoted former player Filipe Luis, who recently won the world championship with Flamengo's under-20 team. In my opinion, it was a wise decision to promote Filipe Luis, but they took too long to fire Tite, he didn't fit in at all at Flamengo.

I believe that for this season, Flamengo's management will go easy on him in the sense that if he doesn't achieve anything, he won't be fired. But next season he will be under a lot of pressure, the fans and the management will want him to win the Brasileirao. According to what I read, Filipe Luís has a contract until December 2025 and he said that he knows the entire Flamengo squad well. So this is already a big step, it means that he won't have any problems knowing which players are problematic and how to deal with them and how to put all the players in certain positions and what instructions to give them.

But in my opinion, the fact that Flamengo's management has given him a very short contract, something like until December of next year, shows that Flamengo's management is testing him. They want to see if he will be able to achieve something next year and only after he achieves something, will they give him a long-term contract. now he would need to solve the following problems:

1 - Make Flamengo play well, like they did in Jorge Jesus' time

2 - Recover Gabigol and De la Cruz's level of competitiveness

3 - Improve Flamengo's defense

In yesterday's game against Corinthians, it was clear that he is in good command. The players knew how to attack and defend, although at the end of the second half Corinthians almost tied the game. But Flamengo created a lot of opportunities and that's what matters.

Ah, I see, so they take it competitive like this prediction metric, but there are other metrics like the one I mentioned about a team remaining constant or not for a long time, showing that other teams are better at different times, etc. But it's interesting to see, I didn't know about this metric.

An interesting thing to think about:
At the beginning of the championship, if we talk about 10 teams being champions, it's completely plausible.
Before the start, I could say that Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Botafogo, Fluminense, Cruzeiro, Atlético, Inter, Gremio or Athletico PR could be champions.
In other leagues, like Spain for example, it's practically Real or Barça, in France it's only PSG, in Germany it's Bayern Munich or Leverkusen...

I think this is the main reason to be the most competitive league

this is quite nice to think about but even on this list there are favorites, of course Palmeiras or São Paulo have more chance than Inter
I'm not even that deep into football but if you get the number of trophies by each team and the track record some will probably have a much better chance than others
that's life

Gabigol was a player well known for his penalty kicks, he really had a lot of technique in his kicks and plays, it's a shame he wasn't called up for the World Cup, now his football is a bit down, the new coach has a very important task in knowing how to take advantage of the player's potential to get the most out of Flamengo.

It was a very risky move, and I think it was even riskier for Filipe Luis, because he is young and has a lot of responsibility. If everything goes wrong, he could simply end his hopes of being a coach. I'm rooting for things to work out. From what I've seen, he took note of Jorge Jesus' training days and has already confirmed that Flamengo will play offensively and put a lot of pressure on the opponent.

As for Gabigol, I think this will be his last chance in this Flamengo team. If he doesn't put in the effort and show his will, next year he will be out of Flamengo and will have to look for another club. Filipe Luis is a great friend of his and will certainly help him in the best way he can to get Gabigol back to his best form.

I also think this is incredible, but sad. Sometimes the teams are competitive and other times they are not. Sometimes the same team loses to the last placed team and wins against the first placed team. This championship really is strange. You can call it competitive, but it is a competitive one where no one is consistent, neither in defeats nor in victories.

In leagues such as Portugal and France, you can count on a maximum of three teams having a chance of winning the championship at the start of the season
The Brazilian championship is extremely difficult to predict who will win in advance.
That's why it's also very difficult to be consistent in your betting. Many surprises happen

I didn't know about this metric either
but taking into account the high variance of sports I'm not sure if trusting on the metrics and stats about it is the best way to go
for real, things can change in a minute.

Besides, you can't really say much if you like this team. But they should have played with good effort and hard work, maybe they should not have seen this day. If you see, they should be removed because when they can't produce the effort and strength, other players have got a chance to replace them. If they show effort and pace now, good, otherwise they too will be out.  It looks great and shows that this team is ready to do something and will hit the ground running. Look, if you don't like it, there's nothing we can do about it. When they are not fit, they have made their decision clear. If he had seen his duty honestly, he would never have made this decision.

Fortaleza really played football this time, maybe they just didn't want to participate in Sula and focus only on the Brasileirão campaign. They are in second place if I'm not mistaken now. Is this strategy worth it?

Even with a few bad games, the team is still only 2 points behind the leaders, so I think it's still an excellent campaign so far
I believe that they tried their best to qualify for the Sudamericana, but something happens that is difficult to explain, which is the tradition of the big clubs. Even at their worst, big teams somehow manage to qualify for major competitions, like Corinthians in semi finals of sudamericana while is in relegation zone of brasileirao

There's no need to be upset
now here is something we don't hear about on national television and pretty much anywhere else:
the women championship for football in Brazil
quite uncommon to hear news about it

any videos with the best goals and stuff like that?
You're right, women's soccer still doesn't get as much media attention as men's soccer, despite the fact that it's growing and gaining momentum over the years. There are some options for watching the plays and highlights of some women's soccer games, such as YouTube, on channels like 'Canelada' and 'Desimpedidos', and also keep an eye on social media, such as those of women's clubs.

SportTV and Band seem to broadcast matches live and usually make the highlights available afterwards.

interesting to see that the only open channel is Band
probably one of this cases where low interest from the audience makes the channels broadcast it a bit less
I'd expect at least one way to watch all the games online too, do you know if this is possible?

I don't know why they haven't made a way to buy tickets online for a game broadcast over the internet available yet.

For example: I live in another country or state and the game won't be broadcast anywhere here, so the club makes a streaming of the game available to a consumer, that is, each game has a price depending on its importance... As if it were a virtual ticket for the game, imagine how much money the clubs would make with this... a simple streaming, and charging tickets to watch...

In the past (around 2010) Guns N Roses did this, I even bought virtual tickets to watch the streaming a few times.

wow, imagine that
you are correct, that would be great
for the crypto community you could even use NFTs for that like the ethereum movie did these days, they charge 20 usd in ETH to let you watch for some days, if I'm not wrong

you are 100% correct, clubs leaving a lot of money on the table with that...

They had a match today that was unplayable in that the Fortaleza players scored a goal in the first half and will win the match on that basis alone.  If you look at the state of their matches, then I don't think their second position at all.  Fortaleza, who used to fight very well, is slowly getting weaker. If they return to the same form, they may indeed come in second position.  I have not seen anything in their performance that is strategic.  Yes, if they had won enough matches by working hard, the match would have said this in their favor.

I dont really know what to think about Fortaleza team, i see them as a weak team but somehow they make his way to be in third place and being a super difficult team to beat to the other Brasilians teams.

When i see them playing som e games they play quite good and other games are really bad.
I'm not sure about Fortaleza too, but as I see, when a team isn't seen as a threat by another clubs, they don't put a lot of effort on the matches against this team, saving the stamina of the players to play against the ones which they consider to be the biggest challenges of the championship.

Maybe Fortaleza found on it the gap they needed to advance further in the championship with a balanced squad, running below the radar of their competitors. So far it has been working nicely. It's really good to see underdog teams taking position and overcoming the main selfish clubs which think only they deserve the glory of the victory.
