The year 2024 is practically lost in terms of titles, maybe they can even win the Copa do Brasil, but I believe that coach Filipe Luis will use the rest of the season as a kind of pre-season for 2025, testing schemes, players and implementing his game philosophy. I really hope that everything works out and the team gets back to winning ways, because lately it has been nothing but disappointment.
Well, everything has left little time to be able to achieve success, there are only few other competitions that might still give them chance to win the title, but the competition will always be fierce wherever and I hope Filipe Luis is ready for all that.

For today I took two team and that is Corinthians and also Flamengo, but the final result made me little disappointed with what happened to Flamengo because they suffered 0 - 2 defeat to Fluminense.
I saw Corinthians managed to excel and achieve big victory and hope Flamengo also experienced the same thing even though they were 2 goal behind I am sure they can turn things around but until the second half ended Flamengo still could not gain the advantage and had to lose without scoring single goal.

Flamengo X Fluminense is a Brazilian classic and in a classic anything can happen, but I personally didn't expect a victory for Fluminense, since the team has been having a terrible championship and Flamengo (in my opinion) was excited about the new coach... But again Gabigol was very bad in the game and again Flamengo showed bad football, this is very worrying for the next game against Corinthians, which is worth a place in the final of the only tournament left for Flamengo to compete for a championship title.

Sao Paulo have been inconsistent lately, they also lost away to Cuiaba and the slide continues for them. Sao Paulo have suffered 4 defeats in their last 7 games and their top four chances are in jeopardy. Sao Paulo are now looking for a morale boost and I think their only goal in the Vasco da Gama match is to win and get back on a winning streak. Vasco Da Gama, who had a good streak for a while, have been in a serious decline in recent matches and have not won in the league for 4 matches. Poor performances in their last matches and a bad loss against Atletico Mineiro in the first match of the cup were the details that stood out negatively for Vasco da Gama. I think that Sao Paulo want to get back on track with this match and are close to victory. This will be an important match for them to recover mentally.

The São Paulo team is a curious case of management that has stopped in time. In the past, it was a reference in athlete recovery with the club's Reffis, a reference for the training center, a reference in international championships, 3 times world champion and for many years it was one of the best teams in Brazil, but soon after it entered a kind of decline and became just a supporting player in the Brazilian football scene, delaying salaries... I was researching and found a good interview with Marco Aurélio Cunha, from the time when São Paulo was a protagonist in Brazil (in portuguese)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdUyXbH1_fg

Over time, instead of teams getting better, as is the case with São Paulo and its entire history, they get much worse. Regardless of the club's history, it may have won ten championships in a row, there will always be a time when the team goes through a crisis. I believe this should happen to every Brazilian team.

It will probably happen to all teams at the top. Marco Aurelio Cunha even commented on this in the video, about the club's adversary being the club itself, that is, vanity. There are also political issues, contracts, well, in short, where there is a lot of money, there will always be someone to try to take advantage of the situation. São Paulo's debt is huge, 700 million reais. If there is no serious management restructuring, the club could go down the same path as Corinthians.

We will have two state classics in the next round of the Brazilian championship: Flamengo x Fluminese and Gremio x Internacional. I wouldn't bet on either of these games, because in classics anything can happen. Perhaps an interesting match to bet on is Juventude x Palmeiras and Vasco x São Paulo, of which I would bet on Palmeiras and São Paulo to win.

Most matches feature most teams occupying roughly the same place in the league table, making betting a little more complicated.
You say something that makes sense, in classics the teams become much more competitive, there are fights between players, many violent fouls and occasionally wars between fans, that's why I say, Brazilian football is not for amateurs.

It's no wonder that the Brasileirão attracts so much attention even internationally. We are the most competitive (and also barbaric) in the world heheh  Cheesy

You're right, I hadn't seen São Paulo x Vasco (which is a relatively easy team to beat) on the list.

yes, some games are much harder than other ones
what about playing at home or away, do you really think it makes a difference?
part of me believes it should but the other is skeptical about it
I don't know

I'm skeptical about this, I don't see much difference in the fans. If one team is good and the other is bad, the fans shouting as loud as possible won't change anything on the field. The bad team will continue to be bad and the good team will only score goals.

do you know what would be nice? checking the data, these gambling websites that have sports betting probably have some about it and I remember there are some websites that track games too
I think it may affect it a little bit but as a minor thing, not a huge one, and maybe it affects more on teams that are simmilar levels
or on really important games

It may be, but only under very specific conditions. I think it is valid for this to occur, but only under these conditions, as it is not something that commonly occurs in confrontations, which is why I remain skeptical. But I believe that in extraordinary situations this may occur.

In this game I am very excited that Flamengo will play a good game, the new coach Filipe Luis seems to have given new energy to the entire Flamengo squad, especially to Gabigol, who in this remaining contract will do everything to get a renewal of a few more years as a Flamengo player, in a recent interview he even commented that he intends to score the first goal in Flamengo's new stadium, which is due to be ready in 2029, that is, he is already thinking about staying at the club for a few more good years.
It's great when the coach is literally the players' friend. That way, the coach doesn't have centralized power, but the players give their opinions, which ends up helping the team as a whole. And being a player on the team is even better. He gains experience and learns more.
many advantages indeed, Filipe Luis has played with most of the players in the current Flamengo squad, so he knows each of them much better than any other coach Flamengo could hire, I'm very excited for the 2025 season, we can have one of the best Flamengo teams of all time, the way of playing possibly like that of Jorge Jesus' team.
When he was player he had experience with big European team like Chelsea and Atletico Madrid then played for Flamengo for several season until finally choosing to retire and continue his career as coach and enter the Flamengo academy while achieving success with the academy.
With all his experience, he can provide benefits for Flamengo to be able to perform better, Flamengo itself had experienced decline after its last success in the 2020/21 season and it is hoped that now they can develop again and dominate the League.
For this season I not sure they can win the title because they are quite far behind in points from Botafogo who are at the top of the standings but for next season maybe they will be even stronger.

Flamengo - Fluminense

Well, I see this game as an opportunity for Flamengo to at least get 1 point. In the last games that Flamengo played against Fluminense, luck was always on Flamengo's side. I say this because Flamengo didn't lose and now with a new coach, I see them getting at least a draw.

https://livescores.biz/h2h/flamengo-vs-fluminense

Fluminense's coach, Mano Menezes, from what I've read, has a bad track record in classic games. If I were to bet on this game, I would choose "Double Chance: Flamengo or Draw" and put it in my parlay. I'm also still analyzing other games to put in my multi bet.

I don't know

I believe that playing at home has some advantages, because players don't travel long distances to play, so they have a little more time to rest, and players are also familiar with the field, which makes playing much easier. while the opponent has to travel or travel long distances and then they will have to get used to the field. I will give an example from my country's case. In my country the condition of the field is not good but as players from my country are already used to it, they have an advantage when playing against national teams from other countries.

The psychological state of the player is more important, it's not just about shouting in the stadium, it involves much more... in some places the opposing fans stand in front of hotels setting off fireworks to prevent the opposing team from resting or sleeping, in others the opposing fans chase the players' buses to intimidate them, not to mention that the home team is much more focused on winning so that they themselves are not chased by their own fans.

Yes, but there's no point in setting off fireworks or throwing stones at the players. If they are prepared to score goals, nothing will stop them. What I'm saying is that it could happen, of course they're not made of iron, but if they are prepared and focused, there won't be any fans who can stop them.

Classics are probably the most difficulty matches to win a bet, everything is different
But at least in next round:

Flamengo vs Fluminense, I don't think Fluminense can stop Flamengo right now, they are motivated enough with Filipe Luis, and Fluminense is not showing signals of recovery

Inter vs Gremio is more balanced, but Inter is doing better right now, the phase is better, and Inter didn't lose any of last 5 matches

Usually I avoid to bet in classics  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
