The title dream is over! With Inter's defeat today ending an incredible unbeaten streak, their chances of competing for the title ended. Now we continue to compete for second or third place. Who knows, perhaps Inter will still end up with the best second round in the championship.

It's a very plausible prediction; I wouldn't be surprised.

Until a while ago, it was almost certain that Palmeiras would be champions, but now everything has become complicated with a game that they shouldn't have lost.

Botafogo, in addition to winning the Libertadores prize (US$23 million), profited from the appreciation of the dollar against the R$ (brazilian real). This has really been a very good year for Botafogo. I hope they keep up the pace.

Guys, I know that many of you are excited about Botafogo's return home, but did you happen to watch the exciting game between Flamengo and Internacional today?

I almost turned off the TV after the end of the first half, when Internacional was losing 3-0, but I'm glad I didn't because Internacional's reaction in the second half was very impressive and scared Flamengo, who were playing at home.

I know that the second goal was controversial and that the referee should have disallowed the game by preventing the Flamengo player from moving, but it is undeniable that both teams played with great determination... I was rooting for a draw.

In any case, with this defeat, Internacional loses its 16-game unbeaten streak and is also mathematically unable to be the champion, but I still support my favorite team and I'm sure that despite the mistakes in the first half, it fulfilled its role today by playing with great determination, seeking a positive result at all costs in the second half.

About the title... my bet is certainly on Botafogo, who now have much more morale after winning the Conmebol Libertadores title. 2024 will be a "glorioso" year for Botafogo.

It will be extremely difficult to take the Brazilian championship title away from Botafogo. The only team that could have done it was Palmeiras, playing at home and managing to lose. Now Botafogo, the Libertadores champion, is super excited and playing well... it is unlikely that they will not be champions, but anything can happen. Despite this, the title race is still open... but I think the most interesting part of this final stretch of the Brazilian championship will be the relegation battle.

Palmeiras will win both matches

Well played match by Botafogo. I'm happy for that result after so many consecutive draws against defensive teams. The current Botafogo's team makes me proud and satisfied to watch the games. They play with passion as a cooperative team. We can see how they are connected to each other as a family, and that is really good. One of the most interesting aspects of this match was the fact Adryelson, who scored the third goal, was sent off on the tragic match Botafogo played against Palmeiras in 2023, what resulted in the loss of the championship in the sequence.

But this time it was him who made the final goal, putting Botafogo in a much more comfortable position against Palmeiras. People said it was a revenge, but I don't see this way. I prefer to consider this to be resilience. A deserved victory, after all! Now, let's go Botafogo to the eternal glory!

The game against Fluminense will be crucial, as the team is desperate to avoid possible relegation, so I think it will be Palmeiras' most difficult match in this final stretch of the Brazilian championship... Another important match will be Botafogo vs. Internacional.

And do you already have your favorites for these matches in the next round?

I don't know how or when, but this end of the championship looks like it's going to be something similar to last year's. It should be decided in the last round. Just like that saying goes, Brazilians leave everything to the last minute. And if the big guys mess up, they'll know!

In my opinion, Botafogo will have more difficulty matches, against Internacional and São Paulo
Palmeiras will play against Cruzeiro and Fluminense, in theory easier matches

Inter is doing an awesome campaign, if Botafogo lose to Inter and win against São Paulo, Palmeiras need to win both matches (not hard) and they will be champions because of number of victories

So it's open right now, the championship is really exciting in this final stretch 

We enjoyed that match very well because both teams try to give good performance in this match. Gregore gave good start and after that team got good rhythm and more players striked well and did goals in that match. Botafogo has good position and has 73 points on the table and Palmeiras football team has 70 points and have second position. Stats was in the favor of Palmeiras football team but they could not do more goals in this match and they lose the match in the end. The fouls of Botafogo team were more in number and these were 16 and in the comparison the fouls of Palmeiras team were less and these were 9. The pass accuracy was also in the favour of Palmeiras but that team lose their confidence and could not win the match .

The chances are good, but far be it from me to doubt it, but last year Botafogo had everything in their hands and couldn't do it. So, let's hope they are better now, otherwise a miracle will be performed by other teams.

I think Endrick's departure really shook up the Palmeiras squad, because coincidentally the team started to fluctuate a lot after he left for Real Madrid. I don't follow Palmeiras very closely, but this probably disfigured the way the team played a little and they spent the entire season trying to find a way to play without their main player until then.

You are right, no team will lose forever and of course there will be victories to be had after all the bad results that have occurred, of course it will be very interesting considering that the top two team can lose or even win overall and come out as the team that takes home the 2024 Brazil Serie-A trophy.
However, Botafogo who are at the top of the standings have to face two fairly tough team and that is big challenge for them, only they will first compete in the Libertadores final against Atletico Mineiro and if Botafogo can win then that will give me more confidence for them to finish the remaining two matches of the Brazil Serie-A with win.
At the beginning of the competition I made Palmeiras the favorite team for the title this season, but at the end of the competition there was really extraordinary surprise from Botafogo.

So, after the victory against Palmeiras, Botafogo got a nice increase in their chances and we can say Fortaleza and Inter are out of the fight now, only a miracle to both, but Palmeiras still have a chance

You're right, he's a great coach, the best in Palmeiras' history, but this year he left a lot to be desired, with Palmeiras playing badly and failing in important matches like this one. I hope he works on a better strategy and doesn't make these questionable decisions that most of the time led to the defeat of the match.

Botafogo football team played very excellent against palmeiras football team and Botafogo team won the match one sided. The score of both teams was 3-1 which was one sided match and most of the people knew that what will be the decision of that match. Botafogo team is at top and has first position and in comparison the opponent team has 2nd position and has 70 points on the table. Gregore did first goal of the match and he did goal at 19 minutes of the match and after his goal one more person did struggle for the goal and he did goal at 73 minutes of the match and after this goal match was totally bent towards Botafogo .But one more person attacked on opponent team and  did 3rd goal of the match and he did goal at 89 minutes of match .Ríos did last goal of the match and he did at 93 minutes of the match .

Yesterday, Cruzeiro had everything they needed to win the game, but they were passive and had to concede goals to start. This style of play is very bad. It should have been something like 1-0 and they could have held on to the game. They didn't play well with this strategy, which I don't understand.

I imagined that it would be a fairly easy match for Palmeiras, playing at home, with the fans supporting them, Botafogo coming off 3 draws (perhaps unmotivated). Anyway, what happened was exactly the opposite, they conceded 3 goals and practically said goodbye to the title. Botafogo will go to the Libertadores final with "blood in their eyes". As for Abel Ferreira, I also didn't understand some things. Is he becoming worn out at the club? After all, he's been in this position for years and this year he's been making some questionable decisions, to say the least.

I think the most exciting match was between top team Botafogo vs Palmeiras, where Botafogo defeated Palmeiras with 3-1 score and currently standing at top position in the qualifying table with 73 points. Both team won 21 mathes but Botafogo safe themselves from Losing & made 3 more draws in comparison of Palmeiras. That's why they have 3 more points than Palmeiras. Well from beginning, Botafogo was supposed to be more energetic and dedicative about the match. That's why they took the control from starting point, did serveral attempts and a goal was scored by Gregore at 19th minutes. Botafogo lost many changes. at 28th minutes, Botafogo unfortunately miss a goal due to barpost. Before the end of 1st half, Palmeiras tired but failed to scored a goal. After 2nd half start, Palmeiras gave effort but failed. M. Rocha got red card at 70th minutes due to slap on his oppennt player eyes. That was ridiculous. Afterwards Botafogo scored another goal  at 73th minutes by Jefferson Savarino. And Once again 3rd goal came from Adryelson's head shot at 89th minute which made Botafogo believe that they are about to won. Suddenly Richard Rios scored 1st goal in extra minutes behalf of Palmeiras but at the end of the day, they lost. They won last three matches but they lost this one. On the other hand, Botafogo drawed last three matches but they won the last match and seems back on the track
