I'm big on both.. I think the market is gonna really start squeezing alts into lower valuation while bitcoin and ethereum start to soar this year... This will def be the year that the ICO bubble starts to burst and working products with valid blockchain use cases start to take over.. as far as investment I think Ethereum has slightly higher room to grow but bitcoin's dominance and price action will move ethereum as the base of the trunk.. so I'd still go 50/50 if not 60/40 towards bitcoin's way.

After market price correction and india and korea fud right now btc recover own price. its sounds good for btc . personally i am going with both two coin
I would go with Ethereum, since it is technologically superior when compared to Bitcoin. BTC has enjoyed the no.1 position till now, because it is the original crypto-currency. But its days are numbered, as evident from the declining market dominance.
I don't think either one will dominate 2018. They will probably have higher positive correlation in 2018, so holding either of them wouldn't make so much difference.
I would say, give btc one more year.
Beyond that though, I believe the old horse will finally be overtaken by eth.
In most bubble economies, the market can reach trillions of dollars before bursting.
What that means is that, even though btc may seem expensive, it is actually still in its infancy and can reach 40 to 50k prices.
At the rate that it's been going, it will hit that easily this year.
Me personally, I believe around 40k will be the peak of bitcoin.
Remember, this last bull run two months ago saw btc jump from 8000 to 19k.
By all indicators, the market is setting for another one, probably bringing the price to 25k.
My exit strategy is simple, Once btc hits my projected price I am selling off half of my investments for cold hard cash.
The rest I am going to migrate into what I believe is the next "king of crypto"
Whether that be eth or dag projects, I am still researching.

I think Ethereum absolutely go upper places than now. A lot of token coming out and all of it funding Ethereum network in one way. One way or another all this ethereum token will help and prices will raise. My expectation Eth will see 0,35-0,4 in this year. (It is not recommend for invest)
I believe in the ETH in 2018 is because eth is very potential in the future for price increases. Indeed Bitcoin is the same as eth price is slowly starting to rise but for now the price is still unstable in all altcoin.
Bitcoin has been very volatile and it is going to increase and decrease in price rapidly over the next year, while ethereum is more stable and reliable.

I think both of them have good potentials and both of them have reached really good successes in the past.
According to me both BTC and ETH has high potentials in 2018.
Personally I find that this year both these coins will show good growth. But a huge milestone for blockchain technology will be to move away from the Bitcoin Hegemony. Later platform coins will dominate the blockchain coin as well. Ethereum is currently best positioned to win the platform war. Initial coin offerings (ICOs) will impact the ethereum network because ICOs usually require plenty of ether. That will buttress the demand for the platform's digital coin.
I love ethereum and its got great usability but think BTC will have a big back end of the year and do really well. Once they both get rolling again though think there will be a big bull run as more media coverage = more new buyers, driving the price up even more
If the choice is between this two then i would chose ethereum, the reasons are obvious, its more in use in a practical way. But for this year i would still go for both of them 50/50. It’s just on further perspective i think btc will start loosing it’s positions
At this time ETH is ruling because the amount of grown ETH has shown in the start of 2018 is great and also in my last post I have mentioned that 2018 will be the year for ETH and it will grow huge like bitcoin did in 2017 and Bitcoin will also grow good but as we all know its already down from the All-Time High so it will take bit time to cover up and grow but ETH is sure on the move and will grow big for sure.
Bitcoin is the first and the best coin in crypto, Ethereum is altcoin that help Bitcoin to be in that place right now. I think Ethereum will be always alt that will help btc and cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin also Ethereum in 2018 will be in the best year of their history till now, but I think Ethereum will be very strong this year maybe it can overtake btc for short time but again throne will belong to Btc.
