Ethereum is the third largest coin in the world after Bitcoin and Ripple. Initially Ethereum is able to sit in second position until the end of December yesterday. Unfortunately Ripple successfully headed the EthereumCryptocurrecy position that runs on Ethereum platform called Ether (ETH). This Ether can be traded like any other digital currency.
I will choose eth because I don't use btc for anything apart from store of value, but eth, I use eth to invest in ICO's. So i will choose eth because it servers me too purposes, store of value and ICO investing.
Well, not only in 2018 but all the time i’d really go with both eth and bitcoin. I think they both most trustable and they're strongest so i usually hodl both of them with some other alts.
I will go for eth because in btc i think we are already late to the party , in eth we are still a bit early to the party, so i will invest in eth and wait till the price sky rocket and go to the moon. apart from that, I use eth for ICO investing.
For me it all depends on our individual each with a strong belief we are to be able to invest in this cryptocurrency with more freely again and to easily run something our efforts with both, but if I prefer the ETH.
I do not think Bitcoin is able to rise that much for only 7 next moths. It can rise a lot, but not in 7 times. Also, there are regulations and restrictions given by a lot of governments this year, which will affect Bitcoin directly. I do not think it is possible, but in crypto everything could happen.
I think that both coins will bring approximately the same profit in percent. These are the most stable coins now, which bring a small income.
I love ethereum because it is also a good crypto, but for me bitcoin will remain as the best crypto in this year of 2018 and i think ethereum has only chance to beat bitcoin if the price of bitcoin will became really high in the future.
Etherereum is better, it the best coin for investing and for holding. And this is good because use ERC20 smart contract's and most of new token's grow's based on Ethereum.
I think they both will rule =) Bitcoin will go over alternative cryptocurrencies, bitcoin will rule over all of them, we will buy Lambos -)
A lot answered Ethereum. Getting a lot of support since it is way cheaper. Can hoard a lot more and feel the volatility of the crypto market rather than bitcoin to where you could just get 1 instead of 10 ETH. 
That will be my pick too. Since ICO's will be around for a lot more time, it is better to bag more ETH so that you can buy those cheap tokens in their Pre-ICO's getting a better chance to make profits from the invested money.

I still choose ethereum i said i a lot before but ethereum have a lot of benefits for example: Smart contracts, it support tokens, lowers fee and quicker network confirmation.
For me its Ethereum. Though bitcoin will rise surely but I can not choose it over ETH as ETH has great potential.
For sure BTC is king of crypto but in 2018 I think Ethereum is going to have big pumps because everywhere in media and in news people are talking for Ethereum.
Bitcoin is already accepted worldwide, it is in hundreds of ATMs. As for the ethereum, it is so muddy that it tries to position itself both as an autonomous system and as regulated. This is absurd, but apparently the developers have good double-thinking skills. But then of course everyone decides for himself.

ETH is rising little much but BTC will rule in 2018 cux it cant let anyone go upside through it.Its the best.

I believe that together they will be at the helm this year. They are two indispensable components. And some of them are more or less the leader to say he can't. They're both good.
For me it's the Ethereum. The end of May will be marked by the fact that the ethereum will still pass the $ 1000 mark once again. All events indicate this. I'm sure that even now an excellent entry point is $ 750. As for me, Ethereum is the most promising currency, it grows faster than the whole market.

We have seen what Bitcoin and Ethereum can Do, The potential they have is amazing and they both still have room to grow and develop on their projects, for this year, id settle for both, Id however separate them into two.Long term and short term. In Bitcoin i will invest for short term purposes, its an already developed coin that can be used as an investment opportunity and make profits over a short period of time. For long term i will settle for Ethereum, Its yet to fully develop, but shows lots of promise on its project. ETH is a coin for the future and its value will soar high in the coming years.
