As far as I saw, forex has some difficulties nowadays as well. I would always rather choose altoins than stocks or shares or any other asset. And of course, share your portfolio to minimise your losses. My advice is to choose one atractive altcoin from first 20 for example (ETH) and also, select one unknown that shows potential. Of course, thorough research is needed when you are selecting any coin, especially when you are giving a shot to an unknown coin. My current interest is BTCN which is expanding steadily and it is already present on couple of credible exchanges. It has a good development team and for now it seems that they are ready to continuesly work on the project, the improvements are published weekly. Its community is substantial and its growing, so, we will see. It seems promising for now. Don't stop investing.

The reason is simple because the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum is falling and I think just waiting for the right price to buy it and Ripple has great potential to become a star this year by replacing Ethereum in second place in Coinmarketcap and still have the possibility that Ripple prices will continue to rise until the end in 2018.
