Merit me or don't.
UPDATE: I'm working on two new algorithms for dual, new version will be available in about a week, also I will reduce devfee for dual mode.

Excellent news.

Looking forward to this as I have been reluctant to switch back to Dual.

Today i lost 1 hours of Dual mining Eth/Pascal using your miner with Multi pool miner

I was left off with a 5 mb log which i think is too huge to be normal for a miner log
I can see that it generated shares but these shares wasn't reported on neither mining pool hub nor nicehash

Please have a look into it and tell me what was wrong with it

Hey guys,

I started mining early December.

The information shared here is amazing - much to learn from all the info here.

I have a 13xRx580 XFX 8gb rig which is dual mining at the moment ETH + DEC .

Modded the bios and I have a steady 388/390Mhz ETH and 11600Mhz DECfor on all cards taking out around 2500w

Since I upgraded claymore to ver 10.06 the graph became stable but check this out

If it is saying that for a certain GPU, you need to turn down your overclocking.

i don't have overclocking, first i want that all cards are runing befor i do this

5 GPU's at 1000w? Probably need more power.
Check your RAM? 4gb min and add virtual ram to include 16gb or your hard rive too.

1000W is plenty for 5 GPUs Eth only. with undervolt, 6 GPUs takes ~730W at the wall, so perhaps ~670W of PSU output. You could feasibly run 7 if there were enough connectors.

Dual mining different story, 1200-1300W PSU would be recommended.

thanks, but i have 1800w look at my post. RYXES does not see that i have 1000w + 800w

my problem is 'hangs on opencl call'  and now i dont know where i have to search Wink

Hello and thank you for your time. I am pretty new to mining so please bare with me!

I just started mining ethereum on simplemining using claymore v10.6.

I'm currently running 4 - 1080ti's and 5- 1050ti's on the Asus mining expert b250 mobo with 8gb of ddr4 ram with an Intel Pentium G4400 Dual-core (2 Core) 3.30 GHz Processor.

I am trying to just mine ethereum and not dual mine and I am donating but I'm noticing I'm getting about 5% lower MH/s speed then I'm supposed to be getting. I am getting about 198 MH/s and the average for my cards looks to be about 210 MH/s. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!!

Current SMOS Config- -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x7c17825D0879cd436f58d6E1EcfDe510ED793Da9 -epsw x

Also, Should I be dual mining? Just not sure how to write the Config text for SMOS with dual mining.

 Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Thanks a ton!!!!

is there any possibility to have ethman under linux ?
Have you tried run it under Wine? What do you need from it? Using API is pretty easy if you know some basic programming. I can rewrite ethman for Linux in c++ or python but I need source code. Now I'm working on my own multiplatform solution for remote control, and probably share it when it's "not crappy" enough.

everytime gpu 4, 5 or all hangs.

when all is running the miner find every minute 2 shares.

thx for your help!!!

with -dcri 15 i get 71MH eth, with -dcri 5 i geht 77MH eth.
with -dcri 70 i get 40MH eht,

do you know whats going wrong?

i find the issue, the power offset Smiley

Hey as you can read in the readme.txt the param -drci is for in simple words adjusting your gpu to hash the other algo for dual mining. so the lower the better towards ethhash and higher will increase MH/s on sia/dcr/ etc.
But not necessarily fastest at 1. try adjusting or fine tuning it slowly with -/+ key while mining

there is nothing wrong. its just a matter or preference according to profitability.

at this moment i strongly advice dual mining is not profitable due to the asics. I have stopped and putting all my card too eth only mining.

Hi everybody,
first, sry for my bad english writing.

i have a mining rig, my components:

4x gigabyte rx 570 4g
2 of them with 1140 2030 and 2 with 1140 2050 @ 850mv
the rig works very well, i got 114 MH/s "28.5" eth 540w from the wall
i use 2 600w powersupplys, an celeron cpu and a gigabyte mainboard with 4gb ram.
my os is win10 pro an it is setup for mining.

yesterday i install the new claymore miner, the description tells me i can dual mine without a hashratedrop @ eth.
i try this with eth+dcr, but wenn i start mining my eth hashrate drops zu 17MH/s

has anyone try this or a idea?

==> add option in your claymore config " -dcri 15 "

adjust it accordingly ... decrease or increase ...

The Devfee is 2% of your ETH earnings in dual mining mode and 1% in ETH only mode, based on mining towards the built in Dev wallet for a period of time to collect the fee. The pool fee is based on the structure for whatever pool you mine and it is collected from your earings on that pool. In addition to the pool percentage for mining, most pools also charge a transaction fee for withdrawls.

I understand this
But if use 2 different site pools for dual mining or use 1 site pool for dual mining , both are equal or i.e. 1% for eth pool and 1% for dcr/sia/other pool     (apart from dev fee) ??

or if I dual mine using lets say same pool e.g. nanopool ETH+SIA then will I pay less pool fee i.e. only 1 time 1% ??

My current config i..e using nanopool for eth and coinmine for dcr ...

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal wallet.2/[email protected] -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.coinmine.pl:2222 -dwal wallet.1 -dpsw x -allpools 1 -asm 2 -dcri 15 -ftime 10
