nope, needs better implementation for the general masses, and needs better adoption by everyone. No one would carry a separate card atm that is in the blockchain, and probably wouldn't unless the dollar has some serious issues in the future such as hacking or such. No, crypto is better as an investment and a speculative market

That is what we require for mass adoption. But I am sure that Amazon will also like to take their cut with such a deal and thus they will tie up with a coin which gives them some commission on every deal. This is what happened in case of PornHub which made a deal with Verge instead of bitcoins or ETH.
I know for sure that a lot of shop this year will accept ETH, the price will pump as a rocket when it will announced, NEO as well will be accepted in China for shopping
Incredibly, i hope it will continue not only in that year alone. With the payment using bitcoin makes it easy for us to process the transaction especially when going to shop to the shops. And we do not need to exchange the bitcoin into the fiat first so it can be used as a payment method.

cryptocurrency is a very good payment system, i believe that with the benefits that cryptocurrency gives us, crypto will be accepted in the shop sooner. Some countries and banks have accepted and used crypto in payment. in Japan merchants are queuing up for crypto currency billing there is a shortage of POS system in Japan and 2015 is very long we can very soon this year more merchants accepting cryptocurrency

This is the actual problem that is stopping Bitcoin from becoming an effective payment system. The high volatility stops people from actually using it in day to day transactions. Also, fees is still high enough that will stop people from actually using it. Unless the Bitcoin becomes widely accepted and distributed evenly, volatility is less likely to go. Just think about the practical aspect of this.

Instead, major payment portals like alipay (which is like apple pay) accept bitcoin.
So you fill you alipay account with bitcoin, and use your phone to pay.
Just about every single vendor accepts alipay so you can pay for everything with bitcoin.

I think it will happen before that, especially for those that shop online. It is like when credit cards were first introduced, those that didn't offer it as a payment method were left behind so everyone else had to adopt it.
