found this. what Jawad Yaqub wants to do with it???

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5j9OyZT5hw

It's from 2013. He seems to have paid for a bunch of 'Fiverr' clips over time which were just generic name-checks of Razormind he was probably planning on using once he'd figured out what the fuck he was going to do with it.

Quote from: Companies House
    RAZORMIND LIMITED

    RAZORMIND LTD

    RAZORMIND NETWORK LTD
    09005214 - Dissolved on 1 December 2015
    Suit 34 67-68 Hatton Garden, London, England, EC1N 8JY

Trouble is, he's great at getting the company incorporated, not so keen on filing any of the required forms after that point, which leads to them just being struck off the register. So he goes and incorporates anew a few months later.

BTW, I'm still working on verifying some information in relation to the astro-turfed staff bios but the general setup appears to be that he is using profiles of people who work for a Ukrainian firm called 'Dengo Systems'.

https://www.linkedin.com/company/dengo-systems  <=---- You can see the profile pics he's used in the employees photo carousel to the right. Click on each one and it links to a full-size LinkedIn page for that person.

Now, the odd thing is that they posted a Happy Birthday to Jawad in their Facebook page back in May, describing him as 'our partner', but he isn't listed anywhere as being an actual 'partner' of the company, although I did find this scheduled in the list of projects one of the Dengo Systems guys has on his LinkedIn page:

So Jawad is obviously just a client of Dengo Systems, but is using their staff bios to imply they are actually on Razormind's payroll.

I don't know if he and Phil are just delusional at this point or what, but they keep on firing out these PR fluff-pieces which make grandiose claims without ever offering any verifiable supporting information.

43:20 Interviewer brings up the supposed five million Euro investment they say is gong to happen for a 'European Blockchain Bank', where is the money coming from, the crowdsale funds? Jawad rambles on some more about the blockchain bank and how great it is going to be and how it is all about helping the poor people.

45:20 Interviewer asks again where the money is coming from for this five million and asks if it is coming from Razormind. Jawad insists he is poor but the company is rich and "has decided to make this investment". Asks "has it happened yet. . .where is the money coming from. . .the crowdfund?", Jawad denies this by stating the money comes from, "us, it comes from the network, it comes from our own cash. At the moment DeOS is owned by us, it is commercial private software . . .it does what it is supposed to do. . . we don't need the money from the crowdsale. . .that the best way to get public ownership and publicise it is through this crowdsale".

They keep talking about investing five million in two 'Blockchain Banks' in order to lend money to poor people yet Jawad couldn't answer the interviewer when he asked what the plan would be for people who fell into arrears on their payments or stopped paying entirely.

As for the company having money, well, given the proven deception and fraudulent misrepresentation Razormind have perpetrated during this weasel-worded 'Crowdsale' (which is just an ICO by another name) all through this time period when they are rattling the collection plate, what do you think the likelihood is that they've got hundreds of employees, a dozen offices around the world and millions in the bank to provide commercial-grade banking services for the poor?

27,000 'active users' of 'DeOS' as of January 2015, yet nobody has seen or heard from any of them and the platform itself doesn't seem to exist outside of Jawad and Razormind's sales-pitch.

I am genuinely fascinated as to where the fuck he thinks he's going with this astro-turfed operation! Insane.

[edit] While idly musing on this question I find myself exploring the details for the people Razormind claim work for them. They've gone and changed the original photo they were trying to fly for 'Olga Petrushka' which I proved was actually Chelsea Marshall, a write for Buzzfeed. The photo they have for 'Olga' now is that of an online freelance translator https://www.upwork.com/fl/olgapetrusha

But the real gems are buried deeper, there are some absolute doozies in that staff list which I'll post up tomorrow.

Combatting Payday Loans – new high tech facilities in Northern Ireland and France will run on 100 percent blockchain tech

Belfast, Northern Ireland (PRWEB) August 25, 2016

Razormind today announced a €5 million plan to build and operate two blockchain banks in Europe, each powered by 100 percent blockchain technology. The facilities, located in Belfast and Paris, will power Razormind’s blockchain services for mobile payment including Deposit/Withdrawal, Local Payment, Bitcoin and DeOS access for customers across Europe.

...For the project in Belfast, Razormind will offer zero interest short term loans to those previously forced to use payday loans at extremely expensive interest rates. The project will also provide grants for an outdoor education space for local schools, as well as a walking trail for communities.

Just as an update I wanted to include the content of the DeOS Purchase Agreement which effectively states they don't have to do anything for the money you send them:
http://www.razormind.co.uk/s/DeOS-Purchase-Agreement.pdf
Quote
DeOS Purchase Agreement
By purchasing DeOS Tokens (DEOS, Đ ) the Purchaser expressly agrees to all of the terms and conditions set forth in the accompanying Terms and Conditions of the DEOS CrowdSale (the “Terms”), which is incorporated by reference herein, as well as the DEOS Purchase
Agreement. All capitalized terms in this agreement will be given the same effect and meaning as in the Terms.
By purchasing DEOS, the Purchaser:
● Represents and warrants that the Purchaser has an understanding of the usage and intricacies of cryptographic tokens, include Bitcoin (BTC), and blockchain based software systems.
● Represents and warrants that the Purchaser is legally permitted to purchase DEOS in the Purchaser’s jurisdiction and is legally permitted to receive products of British origin;
● Represents and warrants that the Purchaser is of a sufficient age to legally purchase DEOS or has received permission from a legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these Terms;
● Represents and warrants that the Purchaser will take sole responsibility for any restrictions and risks associated with the purchase of DEOS as set forth below;
● Represents and warrants that Purchaser is not exchanging bitcoin (BTC) for DEOS for the purpose of speculative investment;
and
● Represents and warrants that the Purchaser is acquiring DEOS for the use of decentralized application services or the purchase of tokens specific to forthcoming decentralized applications on the DeOS Platform, or to facilitate development, testing, deployment and operation of decentralized applications on the DeOS Platform, or to support the development of the DeOS Platform.

Purchaser understands that there is no warranty whatsoever on DEOS, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law, and that DEOS is purchased on an “as is” basis. Purchaser also understands that Razormind will not provide any refund of the purchase price for DEOS
under any circumstances except in the sole situation insufficient tokens have been sold to guarantee delivery of the DeOS Platform within the timeframe set out. Purchaser further agrees to accept sole risk for the purchase of DEOS. The Purchaser recognizes that the DeOS Platform is presently being developed and may undergo significant changes before release.
In order to reduce the possibility of fraud, phishing attempts and other schemes perpetrated by malicious third parties, Purchaser agrees not to respond directly to any inquiry regarding their purchase of DEOS, including but not limited to email requests purportedly coming from
the Razormind Ltd or similar looking domain. Purchaser understands that Razormind Ltd may send Purchaser emails from timetotime,
but these email notices will never ask for information, property, nor require any direct email response from the Purchaser.
Purchaser understands and accepts, that while the Razormind Team will make reasonable efforts to complete the DEOS Platform, it is possible that an official completed version of the DeOS Platform may not be released and there may never be an operational DeOS Platform.
It is also possible that even if the Razormind Team releases a completed version of the DeOS Platform, due to a lack of public interest in decentralized applications or the DeOS Platform itself, the DeOS Platform could potentially be abandoned or shut down for lack of
interest in future.
Purchaser also recognizes that the DeOS Platform may be operational for a short or extended period of time, and may subsequently be abandoned by Razormind Ltd for a number of reasons, including a lack of interest from the public, a lack of funding, competing platforms that seek to develop decentralized applications, and competing nonaffiliated networks built on the same underlying protocol and open source technology.
Following the purchase of DEOS, Purchaser understands that if the Purchaser’s wallet file or password is lost or stolen, the purchased DEOS associated with the Purchaser’s wallet or password will be unrecoverable and will be permanently lost.
Furthermore, Purchaser understands that there is no password recovery mechanism for lost passwords, so the DeOS Team will not be able to help Purchaser retrieve or reconstruct a lost password and provide the Purchaser with access to any purchased DEOS.
Furthermore, Purchaser understands that it is not possible to reconstruct a lost or stolen wallet, so the DeOS Team will not be able to help Purchaser retrieve or reconstruct a lost or stolen wallet and provide the Purchaser with access to any purchased DEOS.
Purchaser understands that between the time of purchase of DEOS in the Crowdsale and the release of the DeOS Platform system DEOS
will be unusable.
Purchaser understands that the DeOS Platform software developed may give rise to other, alternative networks, promoted by unaffiliated third parties, under which Purchaser’s DEOS will have no intrinsic value.
Purchaser recognizes that the DeOS peer network of seed nodes will be ultimately in control of the decentralized system. Purchaser understands that a majority of these miners could agree at any point to make changes to the official DeOS Platform software and to run the
new version of the software on the network. Under such a scenario, Purchaser’s original DEOS will likely have no intrinsic value.

THE PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY ANY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PURCHASER WILL NOT HOLD ANY OF THE RAZORMIND PARTIES LIABLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES OR INJURY WHATSOEVER CAUSED BY OR RELATED TO USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, DEOS OR THE DEOS PLATFORM UNDER ANY CAUSE OR ACTION WHATSOEVER OF ANY
KIND IN ANY JURISDICTION, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ACTIONS FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) AND THAT NONE OF THE RAZORMIND PARTIES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL OR DATA, IN ANY WAY
WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, OR PURCHASE OF, OR INABILITY TO PURCHASE, DEOS.
THE PURCHASER FURTHER SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT RAZORMIND PARTIES ARE NOT LIABLE, AND THE PURCHASER AGREES NOT TO SEEK TO HOLD ANY OF THE RAZORMIND PARTIES LIABLE, FOR THE CONDUCT OF THIRD PARTIES, INCLUDING OTHER PURCHASERS OF DEOS, AND THAT THE RISK OF PURCHASING AND USING DEOS RESTS ENTIRELY WITH THE PURCHASER .
TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAWS, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY OF THE RAZORMIND PARTIES BE LIABLE TO ANY PURCHASER FOR MORE THAN THE AMOUNT THE PURCHASER HAS PAID TO RAZORMIND FOR THE PURCHASE OF DEOS.

The Terms of Use for the Crowdsale Site and the DEOS Product Purchase Agreement govern the sale of DEOS and supersede any public statements about the Crowdsale made by third parties or by the Razormind Team or individuals associated with any Razormind
Parties, past, present and future. Razormind reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of
the DEOS Product Purchase Agreement, at any time by posting the amended agreement on the Razormind website (http://www.razormind.co.uk).
Any Purchaser will be deemed to have accepted such changes by purchasing DEOS.
If at any point you do not agree to any portion of the then current version of the DEOS
Product Purchase Agreement, you should not purchase DEOS. If a court or other tribunal determines that there is a conflict between the DEOS Product Purchase Agreement and the Terms, the provisions of the Terms shall govern.
Date July 14th 2016
Razormind Ltd is incorporated in the United Kingdom with company number NI636534 whose registered office and trading
address is at 55 Clive Rd, Holywood, BT189RE

tl;dr You are a 'purchaser' not an investor and you are 'purchasing' this DeOS in an 'as is' condition, which means whatever state it is in when the ICO/ITO/IPO 'crowdsale' completes is legally what you have purchased and Razormind have no legal obligation to anything after that point.

Sounds like they are hyping themselves up vs Ethereum? Do they have a chance?

Read through this thread. Razormind were caught out fraudulently posting a number of blue-chip customer testimonials on their website which they had simply stolen and reworded to make it look as though they were about their company.

In January of LAST YEAR, Jawad was claiming this mysterious DeOS platform had 27,000 active users all busy developing it and using it. This is a lie.

Razormind's facebook page has 27,000 'likes' in total but barely any in their timeline and no comments.

So to have done all this astro-turfing and gotten nowhere at the time with their collection bucket, they appear to have decided to try and cash in on the Ethereum debacle by claiming their system to be a successor.

They are essentially guilty of fraud at this point if they have collected a single bitcoin off the back of these lies.

Just saw this article on Fintechist, I've seen the journalist before, he's pretty active. Done a search on Bitcointalk and found this thread.

Here's the article: http://fintechist.com/ethereum-competitor-deos-offers-blockchain-solutions-everyone/

Sounds like they are hyping themselves up vs Ethereum? Do they have a chance?

Also looks like their token sale is still ongoing... Over 5000 BTC!
But there's no public address I could verify. Odd.

Good thing I found this thread!

Nice attitude.

What are your credentials again?

sorry I am new to this

OH yea... 2 years and 8 months ago, On January 2014, I was only 3 months into crypto, but after decades in finance, I can smell a melting Plastik. Kudos to all good people here helping to expose this BS. For your sake I hope that you don't get to hurt too many people based on all the BS and plain cheating attempts presented in this thread.

It has been started by a user jaez, who is confirmed to be one of the Jawad's profiles here.
