If DGB is so into gaming then we need to some how try to get Digibyte integrated here, this is the new App for Gamers & its one of the best places to be...If DGB could get the tipping thing going on here its going to be onto a winner, The list of games on its front page should look very familiar

This is what Jared told us in the Telegram group:

¨So the idea is 90% of the world's trade goes through international trade.
This is worth about $18 Trillion USD annually. When goods are shipped from China to the use they are often handled by about 10 different parties.
These people still use fax machines and the snail mail to send trade documents back and forth.
The last few months we have talked with several of these parties including a freight forwarder, customs broker and factories to help them start automating this process and securing it in the DigiByte blockchain. These particular companies handle $250 M USD in goods per year.¨

Join the telegram chat group, to get the latest news

But how is this trade going to let DGB grow?

DigiByte? Yes!
Hi guys,

A friend have actually a really strange problem with his desktop DGB wallet : he's limited by a max amount of DGB to sent. Moreover, his fees are huge compared of mine.

Eg : Yesterday, I have transfered 336 000 DGB for a total fees of 42 DGB. My friend need to pay 96 DGB for a transfer of 38 000 DGB only. Have I missed something? Is there a rule that increase the fees to be paid the more you make transaction? This doesn't sound logic at all, and I've never read anything related to this.

We are both on the 4.0.3 wallet, 64 bits... on Windows.

The transaction fee to send is based on the number of input transactions (actually it's based on the size (in kb) of the transaction, but more inputs = larger size, so it's easier to just say number of transactions).

If you have 10000 DGB and received them 5 at a time (2000 inputs), you would have a higher transaction fee to send them than someone who received 10000 DGB all at once (1 input).

The transaction fee that you can set in your wallet is added to the automatic transaction fee based on inputs. Setting it to 0 will not remove transaction fees.

If you are using the core wallet, you can enable coin control and see the inputs and transactionfee when you try to send. You can also choose which input transactions to use when you send. For the lowest fee, you would always want to choose your largest value inputs.

And no need to create a new wallet in order to reset the transaction history, right?
Thank you guys for your fast and qualitive answers.

I dont think so, should work wihtout reset.
If you want to clear transactions you can do it, but would not recommand it. Never tried it Wink

Ok, one more time thank you all for the support. You are awesome! That's why I love DGB and its community :p

You can set in your wallet! Maybe you changed it or he changed something!?

Note that getting a transaction relayed across the network does NOT guarantee that the transaction will be accepted by a miner; by default, miners fill their blocks with 50 kilobytes of high-priority transactions, and then with 700 kilobytes of the highest-fee-per-kilobyte transactions.
The minimum relay/mining fee-per-kilobyte may be changed with the minrelaytxfee option. Note that previous releases incorrectly used the mintxfee setting to determine which low-priority transactions should be considered for inclusion in blocks.
The wallet code still uses a default fee for low-priority transactions of 0.1mBTC per kilobyte. During periods of heavy transaction volume, even this fee may not be enough to get transactions confirmed quickly; the mintxfee option may be used to override the default.

These are the options in the wallet:

Maybe he changed this setting in his wallet!

Thank you for all the replies guys. He's a miner and I already told him to decrease the withdraw request from his pool. I'm discussing with him in order to see if something is wrong with his wallet. I have well red everything that concerns fees... but what about this limitation of a max amount of DGB to send? By decreasing the amount of request related to his adress, do you think this will increase the maximum amount of DGB per transfer?

Yup it sure will, it will basically reduce the size of the transaction allowing it to be included in a block.

And no need to create a new wallet in order to reset the transaction history, right?

Thank you guys for your fast and qualitive answers.

Can someone please assist, I haven't opened my digibyte wallet for about a year and it's not syncing after leaving it open over night.

Have you updated your wallet to the latest 4.0.3 version?

I am using the iOS wallet but can't find the link to update.

Thanks, is there any problems sending from iOS to poloniex? I am only selling because I desperately need the funds and the price is good.
