(...) Unlike on a forum like this, where signatures are not considered as ads unless someone uses ad blocker script to remove signature spaces and disabled signatures in their settings.

Yup, you could disable signatures/avatars in the forum settings, but they're not considered ads and won't be disabled by ticking "Disable ads" in the profile settings. Similarly, I don't think any ad-blockers would view signatures as ads (unless specifically designed/modified for this purpose). I've been using Brave browser for a few years now, and it wouldn't block signatures even when you pick the strictest option: "Aggressively block trackers & ads".

That's a really nice advantage of signatures over classic ads which is rarely mentioned. I think campaign managers should use this argument when pitching to potential clients.

Other thing is the growing popularity of ad-blockers or browsers like Brave (who now have almost 70 millions active users) making it harder to reach audience via standard internet ads.
This is true, this growing use of ad-blockers has major impacts of advertisers to get more impressions, views, CTA and potential buyers/clients. Unlike on a forum like this, where signatures are not considered as ads unless someone uses ad blocker script to remove signature spaces and disabled signatures in their settings. So this forum always be part of the option to promote for crypto-related casinos.

The gambling industry is so big that while most industries don't want their advertising dollars, they all descend on the areas where gambling sponsorships are still allowed, because they have little to no other choice elsewhere. International football is a good example of this. And then you have cryptocurrency sites like this one that cater to the crypto casinos at least.

There's some truth to it, but it's not like we have an influx of big-brand casinos wanting to advertise on bitcointalk. Most of the ones we have here are either crypto-focussed, or newly established ones that are trying to get traction, for whom this is a good advertising niche, as they cannot afford to compete with the big casinos in the traditional advertising spaces.

The gambling industry is only growing every year, especially in underdeveloped countries, so it's natural that most of the forum campaigns are offered by casinos, for the most part, and I think this will continue for quite some time.
No doubt about that and they'll continue to grow. Many new players are coming in and that's why they have to market it out especially the ones that specializes in crypto or their main currency is on it.

They'd for sure gonna take into consideration advertising through many channels which includes the forum, we see that often that there are new casinos and they're willing to listen to the community that they're about to be part of.

And maybe soon those that have their own tokens will advertise back through campaigns paying participants with their tokens through their own platforms.

At least we have several campaigns which don't promote gambling, it comes from exchanges. But in general, people who are against promoting gambling have don't much option to choose.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)

Or is it the relative lack of campaigns other then casinos that is the cause? The next major bitcoin use place is the exchanges, most of them have regular users dont need new users signing up and the word being spread  so they dont run much campaigns here. After that comes bitcoin based payment systems and they are also not delving much into this form of advertisement.

For now this is a solution for many who may have lost their regular participation.

I counted at least 23 active campaigns, these are mostly from casinos that continue to promote on this forum, probably because it's unique and more audience is attracted to casinos.
Yeah, almost all campaigns that we have now is gambling websites. I think it's nothing surprising and it's difficult to expect that something will change soon. Gambling websites simply have biggest budgets for marketing.

I'm really happy to see there are many new signature campaign, seems there are like 10 new campaigns recently. Although we don't know how long they can survive, but seeing them want to promote in this forum means the forum still become a good place to promote cryptocurrency business.

That means this is a record-breaking campaign, right? Will there be a casino that lasts even longer? Well I see there are some casinos whose campaigns run hundreds of weeks.
Yep, even Bitvest can't beat them, cryptogames started in 2015 while Bitvest in 2016. I really doubt we will see another signature campaign can survive for 9 years, most of them didn't even reach 3 years...
At least 3 years is a long time for a campaign, it means that the casino has good traffic here so they can run campaigns for so long.
I feel other casinos will also do long campaigns... hopefully... Smiley

Crypto.Games casino is one of the campaigns that will soon reach its 1 decade because it is currently running 9 years... Wow, I just realized that there is a campaign this long.

10 years of CryptoGames and over 9 years old signature campaign. All payments processed  Grin

It was about time the moderators acted. The gambling board was getting filled with more and more less important topics that probably were just created to fuel spam. I think they (the moderators) got awakened with a recent complaint in Meta about multiple duplicate threads in gambling discussion.

That board should be kept as clean as possible so that the advertisers also get value for their money and not just spam.
Yeah, it would be better if they would do such cleaning more often. Most of these topics who got moved don't add any value to forum. It's just made to feed spamners.
If moving one of such spam megathreads affected someone's campaign quota, they probably should think about their posting habbits. I have no idea what valuable someone can say in 66th page of "Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more?" topic.

I'm posting this here to notify some of you who have signature campaign post quota, because some of you might have posted in thread that was moved from the gambling discussion board to the off-topic section. I know most signature campaigns don't count posts that were moved to the off-topic section. This means if some of your posts were moved to off-topic, you will need to post again to cover the posts that were moved.
Still waiting for users who said they post for fun and didn't looking back to check their post history. Roll Eyes

Usually there's always a new thread in gambling discussion that discuss about religion, human relation, ethic, personality etc, but I don't see any new thread today, it seems they're scared if the moderators will move their thread to off topic because it will waste their time and effort.

I think they (the moderators) got awakened with a recent complaint in Meta about multiple duplicate threads in gambling discussion.
But, the complaint and the thread that moved or locked by moderators are different lol. They did nothing for the thread that complained in Meta.

That board has been full of spam for years and and that hasn't stopped advertisers from coming here to spend their money on advertising, quite the contrary. They were the ones who advertised the most before mixers, they kept advertising when many mixers started to do so and they still do today, even though it is one of the most spammy boards, probably along with BD. Degenerate gamblers don't need “quality” conversations to register on a site and spend a lot of money. With mixers it was different because potential mixer users tend to be more tech-savy but Gambling boards are great as they are to be of use to casinos.

I see that 10 threads from the gambling discussion board have been moved off-topic and those threads have been locked by the mods.
Always check posts daily whether anything goes off-topic or not, at least 1 went off-topic so far. Grin

Well, some of these topics seem to be philosophical rather than having valid and useful points to share..
People have to check their posts whenever they post in a poor quality topic. Otherwise nothing new from what you said for established players.

Btw, now the signature campaign is more than 20 active campaigns, maybe many more will come, lately many casinos have come here and the managers offer marketing campaigns on the forum so it's good especially casinos still dominate.
Gambling related campaigns dominated the forums after the ban of mixers. These campaigns were almost head to head most of time in the previous year. In fact I think exchanges are less represented in the forum.

E-commerce sites, online stores that sell geek products, gears, computer peripherals that accept Bitcoin. I believe the ideal audience for this type of business is here on the forums.
I'm really interested in knowing this kind of sites, that's if only they sells electronics at an affordable price in Bitcoin. So please, if any has an idea of a this kind of online stores who ships goods to all parts of the country, most especially Nigeria, I will be very interested.

We can suggest such companies the idea of promoting their services on this forum.
However, just as Joker_jouse said that the only problem will be finding it difficult to attract these kind of stores to come promote their products on the forum, but moreover, we never can tell, as they may have been looking for opportunities like this, but there was no one to inform them, so giving this a try is never a bad idea, because the aim of every business man is to make more profits.
