In my opinion, I would do the opposite. I will sell Bitcoin and invest in Altcoin. It takes a lot of Altcoin to get Bitcoin. Bitcoin's rate of increase over the period is not as expected.
Yes, I would definitely sell my coins and then buy bitcoin. I would love to have btc of my own, and that is what I wanna do if I would have enough to buy btc.
Selling your coins today is not profitable because the price of bitcoins is very high and that is the reason why the best option today is just hold your coins right now to avoid losing your investments.

Selling altcoins and buying btc, that's what I do if I have an altcoin, I will invest my money in coin btc, because coin btc is very good potential and the king of all digital coins is BTC, but not 100% of all my money will invested in BTC, only 50% of all my money and more for my needs in the real world.

For me selling alts to buy bitcoin is not a good decision. If you are looking for more safer investment then you need to alot the amount of your investment in different coins for you not to have loss a large amount.

Every people here are different strategy. Some people will sell their alts and buy bitcoin. But some people goes the other way. For me sell some bitcoin and buy alts. Because there are many altcoins that have so much potential in the future.

No, I don't think it is good idea. We all know that when bitcoin increase most of the alts will also be drag up. Maybe the best thing to do is to sell the alts with less potential and keep the best alts you think will make a huge recovery.

The fact is 99% of the time when people sell alts, they already buy btc because that's the way we have right now with alt/btc pairs.
It is profitable and I find that when I don't care about how much USD I get, I still end up earning more bitcoin with the strategy which will be a good thing in long term.

If you think that it is a good move for your investment then continue the work ,who knows that strategy will be good enough for your investment , you are the one who run your investment ,try to test because it might go good then it will be good for other investors also.
I agree with this statement considering that now BTC and ALTC are experiencing a bear market, and that we can use it to make profits by buying as much bitcoin as possible, this would be very profitable if we could sell it later when the price skyrocketed

No, I adhere to the strategy that I need to have both bitcoin and altcoin in my crypto portfolio. Bitcoin is a long-term and reliable investment for me. Similarly, any altcoin can achieve this result, who knows 
Yes, actually this is the strategy what im doing right now, and its actually worth it (for me only, i dont think if its worth it to others). I just wait to he price of altcoins to increase and then i will sell to have enough money to buy bitcoin at lower price.

On the other hand bitcoin has never failed us,its consistency in the market remains to be the toughest cryptocurrency of all time and i think that it is also advisable to own bitcoins,but you need to find your way to buy bitcoins,but not selling potential coins.
It could be good decisions but i do think it depends on how market are. When market concentration are in bitcoin it would be good to buy bitcoin and sell your alts but it would be different when bitcoin down and alts is increasing, if it happen it would be best to buy coins in top 100 cause mostly people will buy famous coins and it will have better chance to increase than other coins below top 100.
I wont sell my all altcoins,will kept those who have acquired top value in market ,but i will sell other as bitcoin have more potential and more steadier rate than altcoins ,yes,altcoins can make you earn a great amount if you sell them at right time but bitcoin is still more stable .

well it relies upon the present market status of those altcoins. I think what they implied is contribute more on btc as opposed to altcoins on the grounds that we as a whole realize that alts are not as steady as bitcoin. he didn't said that offer your alt at that point purchase btc. having altcoins likewise includes up your venture portfolios, there are a few alts that is steady and can be leveled with bitcoin.

It depends on the potential of your altcoins, it can be good idea if you hold shitcoins or the altcoins that doesn't have a value.
