I prefer to hold ethereum than hold bitcoin, because I believe more invest in ethereum.
If you can have both then why not both. But if you are looking to star buying i would recommend starting with ETH.

I choose to hold both because both will tend to grow and is expected to do so in a few months and I wouldn't want to miss such opportunities specially now that it has very low price. It is like a second chance for us investors to buy and hold some bitcoin or to just increase our recent holdings.

I choose to hold ethereum now because the fact that bitcoins price is much higher compared to it and I am losing confidence in investing to bitcoin now because its price drops down from its highest attained value where as ethereum show s more stability and growth which I think is very ideal for holdings and future trading.
I rather chose both coins, i am not going to choose either one of them because both are a very potential coins.
