Definitely, if Arsenal should repeat the performance of yesterday in the second leg without scoring a goal at least first to mount pressure on Newcastle in order for them to come out and play because i know they would like to their lead by all means possible. But if Newcastle should catch Arsenal on the break, boom, its gonna be a mountain for Arsenal to climb if the score turns to 3-0. Arsenal needs to play at their 200% best if they want to turn the tie around on their favour.
Arsenal will continue to have problems like these till they fix the issue they have. They don't have a a balanced team, but somehow they think they do. The amount of good players you have in your team doesn't matter if every position in the team is not balanced.
For reasons only known to Arteta, he's only focused on strengthening his defence. His midfield and attack is not balanced. The left side of the attack doesn't function well and the right is dead without Saka, but he doesn't care about that.
Theres no creativity in the midfield aside from Odergaard but Arteta isn't bordered about that.
I understand that defence is good, but no matter how good the defence is, they can win you trophies if your midfield cant keep balls and your attack isn't lethal.
They don't have a prolific goals scorer and now there interested in Araujo of Barcelona, Another central defender. I don't see the plan here. Getting quality defenders is good, but defence isn't the only part of the field that needs reinforcing.
