Ajax has performed quite well in the last 5 matches. They were able to achieve 4 wins and one draw. This is a very good result after their poor performance some time ago. If they continue to be consistent in maintaining this kind of performance, I am sure they will be able to finish even in second place at the end of the season.

PSV has been too extraordinary this season. I think they are the only club in Europe's top big league that has wiped out all the wins without drawing or losing. No one doubts they will lift the Eredivise trophy this season.

Even if Ajax can maintain their performance it will be very difficult to reach third place, Feyenoord are also playing very consistently and will probably finish second, PSV have played an outstanding half of the season so far and will probably not lose many more games after the break.

To fight for third and fourth place, Ajax needs to be consistent in maintaining their best form of play which has begun to be shown.

I think Ajax can achieve this with the third place, but more will not be possible this season, PSV and Feyenoord are too consistent and Ajax is not stable enough.

PSV are still unblemished going into the Christmas break, Ajax have also improved a little and have the best result in their last 5 games behind PSV, but are still 8 points behind AZ, Ajax need to continue their current form into next year's spring, then they could still be in contention for third or fourth place.
Having not been defeated since the start of the season until the last match, a convincing win over AZ Alkmaar means that PSV Eindhoven will beat Feyenoord like last season with a point difference of up to 10 points.
Ajax has started to improve, but is still not as stable as it was under Erik ten Hag's coaching.
To fight for third and fourth place, Ajax needs to be consistent in maintaining their best form of play which has begun to be shown.

They can still meet up with points and stay at a good spot on the table too. Congrats to Ajax and PSV, they're good and are growing better gradually regardless of the little loopholes that they're having too.The next half of the season may likely take different turn in the league as it's believed that the various team managers will make new and better strategies to increase team's performance too

Yesterday was really a feast of football. We saw a lot of goals in the matches and frankly they were all exciting.Twente failed to defeat Rotterdam who were down to 10 men. In the 45th minute Rotterdam, who were down to 10 men, managed to hold on to the match with goals from penalties in the second half.Twente could have even won the match if they hadn't managed to score in the last minute.
Feyenoord managed to beat their opponent Heracles with 4 goals away from home.We cannot say that the opponent was not very effective.Despite being away, Feyenoord dominated the match and won a comfortable victory.
Ajax started to recover slowly.Ajax hosted PEC Zwolle at home.Ajax managed to go 2-0 ahead with Brobbey's goals and left the match with a draw. They had a chance to win the match but they could not take advantage of it.It would have been better for them if they had won this match.Losing points in these matches is a bad result for them if they want to finish in the top 3.
In the most important match of the day, PSV, the favorite candidate of the championship, almost showered AZ Alkmaar with goals.PSV, who did not even give the opponent the opportunity to play, managed to win the match with a very beautiful football.PSV, who increased the difference to 3 in 16 minutes, did not give the opponent any opportunity. We can easily say that AZ Alkmaar played as if they were playing away throughout the match.
The Eredivise is competitive no doubt and consistency works very much for the teams there. It's winter season and so the teams ought to brace up to gain enough grounds ahead of post winter break. PSV and Ajax are doing explicitly well in the league as they've been able to keep up with game victories too. For Alkmaar, they're lagging behind and it's really taking toll on them and their points on the league table too. They've just got to find a balance and get back to their pace. Their league isn't even as competitive as other European leagues as there are just a few teams that are tough in their play.

Yeah, PSV machinery seems unstopable right now for the Eredivisie teams, yesterday they destroy easily the 4 best team in the league with a contudent 4-0 AZ doesnt stand a chance against them.

I hope they can still do this amazing season and also i hope they can get a good result in Champions League, not easy task

Would you say that Alkmaar can compete with PSV this season? I think no one can beat PSV this season and almost 100% they will win the Eredivise league this season. Maybe now we can talk about places 2, 3 and 4. Ajax's draw in the last match means they are now 8 points behind Alkmaar in fourth place. One place in the Champions League has definitely belonged to PSV. We just have to talk about 1 more place that will be contested by Feyenoord, Twente and AZ Alkmaar.
I am not following Eredivisie so closely and I am impressed with PSV Eindhoven performance. They didn't miss any points after 16 rounds, they received as low as 6 goals and scored 56! Their last game was against AZ Alkmaar, which is among the top teams, yet they destroyed them with 4 goals to nothing!
It is rare to see such good record even in lower leagues with a classically dominant team. The only negative point is that their performance didn't follow in UEFA Champions League although they were able to qualify second.
With 10 points difference from Feyenoord and way more from the other teams and since almost half of the season was played, I am pretty sure they will win the league before many rounds. What left to know is which team will join them in UEFA Champions League next season, and whether Ajax Amsterdam will pick a European competition spot or not.

What a bad performance yesterday from Az Alkmark in european competitions, this only makes a bad image of the league in europe, and losing some important points in the anual ranking of UEFA. For luck PSV is doing great, and Ajax yesterday at least secure a spot in Conference.
AZ players already came to this game without motivation, even if they won, they wouldn't be able to stay at the top and with the goal they conceded and then got a red card, everything got worse for them, but it's very strange to see that in this group they finished in third place, and in my opinion the only strong team in that group was Aston Villa, the rest of the other teams were weak, which in their leagues are not in the top position and are not big leagues and even so AZ did very poorly in this group. I agree with you, they are giving a bad image of Eredivisie teams in European competitions. Fortunately, PSV is managing to do well in the Eredivisie and in European competitions, they managed to move to another stage in the European Champions League, which puts more money in PSV's wallet.
Even I am feeling completely different from you but still I am counting this game as one of the interesting in this round because AZ Alkmaar is having bad time they lost their last game in Conference League and their performance in this league is also not good in last few matches as they lost 8 points and now having chance to drop on fourth spot with Twente is also going to visit Sparta Rotterdam which is also one of the interesting matches in this round with after this round we will have 25 days winter break, so mostly teams will try to keep things on high note before this break so most chances PSV will win and go on break with undefeated in this season's first half.

There is no doubt things will be not easy for the both teams but currently PSV is surely having good depth into their team and their players are doing impressive job which giving them win after win and most chances they could be claim title before end of this season due to big difference of points due to the worst time of Ajax which was struggling and now trying to fight back for the top flight.

the game ended with PSV's victory, I must say that I already expected PSV to win this game, I had no doubt about that, but I must say that I was very surprised by the ease with which PSV scored 4 goals and beat the game, this just shows how PSV has no opponent capable of beating them this season, with this victory the difference in points between PSV and Feyenorrd remains 10 points, this is because Feyenoord also won in a game against Heracla, it's funny that Feyenoord Feyenoord's game against Heracles ended with 4 goals scored by Feyenoord and without conceding a goal, there is no doubt that the same thing is happening as last season, just with reversed roles

Last season Feyenoord was the top team and PSV the second team, this season the roles are reversed. PSV is at the top while Feyenoord is in second place. Speaking of PSV, I saw the draw for the European Champions League, they will play against Dortmund, in my opinion they are an accessible opponent for PSV, I think it will be a good chance for PSV to beat Dortmund and move on to another stage, of course. As the game will be in February next year, there is still a lot to be done until then and Dortmund can improve a lot to the point where they can beat PSV with some ease. Anyway, PSV's next games in the league are games against weak teams, so I see them winning all the games that are coming

What an impressive record by PSV so far! Winning all of their 16 matches in the Eredivisie is a really work that deserves to be appreciated very much. They are playing really differently this season and we see that in the Champions League also. They have qualified for last 16 phase you know and their group wasn't an easy one for them on paper.

Especially thanks to Sevilla's horrible performance PSV were more comfortable. They got a point from Arsenal too. The fans and board both must be really happy with this performance level this season.  Smiley

When it comes to Ajax their progress after that horrible start is impressive. But their job is still going to be difficult in climbing to top 3.  Sad

Also expected Ajax to win. When they equalized and took the lead, I thought they would scored more, but again I was wrong. Zwolle scored again to make it 2-2.

+1
expected a win from Ajax, but they managed only to get a draw
nevertheless, Ajax is playing good, especially compared to what they were playing at season start

PSV won easily against AZ, and they are challenging a season with all wins, if they continue this way
moreover, they are killing everyone with 3-4 goals, there is no 1:0 wins for them

I agree, Ajax is one of the best in Eredivisie and also in Europe as well now they are coming out of their bad time and their winning streak is getting long which is clearly indicating now things can take positive turn, and they will be at their best in next half of this season which will give them spot into top four with PSV and Feyenoord both are impressive and most chances they will keep momentum but AZ Alkmaar or Twente can give space.

I also think if they continue to keep winning after winning then they will have a lot of potential to get second place at the end of the season. Among the teams in the Eredivise, Ajax is indeed one of the best. For this season, no one will doubt PSV's extraordinary performance with 15 wins without ever drawing or even losing. For Feyenoord, Az Alkmaar or Twente they are also very strong this season but if Ajax finds their form again then I think Ajax is stronger than these 3 teams.
Ajax is really proving their selves to be a team that is ready and can possibly make it back to the top of the top four again this season, their performance lately is really brilliant a d they just keep winning and climbing back to the top of the table, a performance most persons didn't expect to see from them this season because they have already performed so poorly earlier.

I was even of the opinion that Ajax will basically be avoiding relegation and not think of getting to top four but with their recent performance and consistency they can dare to get to the top of the table. PSV and feyanoord are two tough teams this season in the eredivisie who wouldn't give ajax that opportunity to be at the top of the table but currently ajax is at the fifth position on the table making it very possible to get to the top with little to almost no stress.PSV is currently having so much dominance this season , in their last five games they won all which is the highest on the table currently.

Alkmaar has shown a little below-average performance in the last five matches in my opinion. Of course, almost all the people expected better performance from them. And I don't think they will actually be able to go anywhere near the first position. Just for context, and they are in the 4th position and the point difference between them and the team in the first position of the table is 12. So yes things are looking tough for them and at the same time PSV looks like running away with things.

Feyenoord won their game against Heracles so easy, 4:0 probably don't even reflect the game. Stats of game better reflect their dominace. Twente unexpectedly dropped points in Rotterdam against Sparta. It's impressive that Sparta scored 2 goals after one of their players got red card in 1st half. Ajax is leading 2:1 vs Zwolle, 20 minutes remaining, so, ending might be interesting if Ajax won't score 3rd goal.
I put some money on PSV, don't expect much from AZ. Maybe I understimate them too much, but for me they're not looking great and I'm surprised that they still hold 4th place with just 1 point behind Twente.

All my predictions today were off. I got only the Feyernoord game right. I expected Feyernoord to win easily and they did.
I didn't expect Almere City to thrash Vitesse that way. Since both of them are teams battling in the relegation zone, I expected it to be a close match. It's just goes ahead to show how bad Vitesse is. I didn't predict that many goals, I thought it would be a 1-1 draw.
Also expected Ajax to win. When they equalized and took the lead, I thought they would scored more, but again I was wrong. Zwolle scored again to make it 2-2.

I'm going to predict the last game of today again and hopefully I'll get this one correct. I don't know the exact score line but I'll give PSV the win. PSV to win but Alkmaar will score. Maybe a 3-1 in favor of PSV.

There are some good matches today. The most important match of the day will undoubtedly be the AZ Alkmaar-PSV Eindhoven clash.PSV have had the opportunity to continue without losing a point so far.PSV have 15 wins in 15 games in the league and will be looking to make it 16 wins in 16 games. Although being away is a disadvantage for them, we know that PSV has the potential to get 3 points in this match.Although AZ Alkmaar has been in poor form in recent weeks, it can be expected to show a resistance against PSV.We can expect this match to be high in terms of viewing pleasure because both teams have no problem scoring goals.

Today we have few good interesting matches with Feyenoord won their game easily and have three points which will keep them strong at the second spot in another match 10 men Sparta which was leading by 2–1 held by visitors Twente as injury time goal from Unuvar give them one important point, and they will be happy with this but in last game which was played between Ajax vs Zwolle give big setback to home team which was trying to recover from their early loses and were leading by 2–0 in first 60 minutes lost 2 important points and match ended with the score of 2–2 which is disappointing for them.

Now after few minutes we are heading for another big game which is going to play between top Dutch teams AZ Alkmaar is going to host leaders PSV, even mostly are feeling this is going to be easy win for the visitors but still we will be able to have entertaining match between these two inform teams.

@Ltu_btc PSV has been showing really good performance this season. They have played 15 matches so far and they have not lost a single match. They have actually been able to win every single match that they have played so far and they have also not dropped a single point as well. Looks like they are going to be really unstoppable. The point difference is also very big with other teams right now.  So it is not very dumb to expect them to win the league title.

If anything I expected a better performance from Ajax. They have started really slow.  But now it looks like they are picking up the pace. The last five matches were very good for them.
