Hopefully Ajax will return to winning for good this time. The last victory came with a lot of goals but it was against the last team in the standings. Same goes for Volendam. Almere isn't that top, yet they got a draw with them. A quite close opponent was Heerenveen and they knocked it with 4 goals to 1. Ajax scored 13 goals in these 4 matches which is equal to the number of goals scored in the first 8 matches. There is an improvement for sure and they should keep up that way!

agree, it was probably best game that Ajax played this season
and it is a sign that this international break did them good, I expect to see them climbing the leaderboard in following weeks, and eventually join play-off competition

PSV is unstoppable at the moment, they are simply destroying all opponents

Ajax played their best game this season - they destroyed Vitesse 5:0 at home. Yeah, it's just Vitesse who are last now, but still, quite impressive. And Ajax is already in spot which would give them place in Eredivisie playoff for Conference league. I said in past that no matter how bad Ajax started season, I still expect that they can reach place in UEFA competition. Offcourse, it will be not Champions league, just Conference league, but still, better than nothing.
PSV won 3:0 against Twente away. Twente got red card quite early, and after that it looked like matter of time until PSV will score. I'm struggling to find when Twente lost at home last time because they were undefeated whole previous season and 12 rounds this season. They're still 3rd , but probably out of title race already, 12 points behind PSV. Only Feyenoord still keep somewhat moderate distance - 7 points. And they won their game vs Excelsior 2:4 today.

Tomorrow we will have many games involving the big teams.

SBV Excelsior - Feyenoord

This is a game in which Feyenoord is favorite to win the game, with such a low odds value, something around @1.25 if Feyenoord wins the game, while Excelsior has an odds of @11.00 if Feyenoord wins the game. win the game. In my opinion PSV will win this game

Ajax let 3 points slip out of their hands in final minutes of a match, this is something that’s really worrisome for the new man in charge of this Ajax team, since the start of the season Akax has turned to a shadow of itself and we don’t know if it’s the same Ajax that caused some upset amongst top European clubs some seasons ago in the UCL.

 The defense line of Ajax team is shaky and the attackers aren’t clinical, the midfield is nothing to write home about if they’re not able to  build up their defense from there and give the defense line not much to worry, however PSV is one club who’s standing out in Europe this campaign season as wee see them going to fight and maintain top spot week in week out so as to avoid any slip of the title, PSV just needs to remain consistent and they’ll be taking the league home quite early.

Feyenoord won over AZ in this round, and PSV is still on max points this season, 36 points from 12 rounds, they are flying throughout the season, probably looking for some records

ajax could have left the game against almere with a victory, but even though they won the game and had more possession of the cake and the clock in their favor because there was little time left for the game to end, they still missed this good opportunity to leave of this game with victory. they conceded a draw at 90 + 3 minutes on a penalty. Honestly, Ajax has had a very disappointing defense this season, in 12 games they have already conceded 22 goals. I see that if they could improve in defense then they could have better results. But this is something I highly doubt will happen

while Ajax is fighting to stay far away from the relegation zone, we see PSV fighting to distance itself from the teams that are in second place. and now they have a difference of 9 points and that is a big difference in points, PSV will probably be champions this season as long as they continue to play the way they are playing. but if they drop in performance, then they will lose a great chance to be champions. With Ajax being bad and Feyenoord also being inconsistent, PSV needs to take advantage of this opportunity they are having this season

It already looked that Ajax is already starting to play football but this round they dropped points against tiny Almere City. It was tough game, but it already lloked that Ajax have it in ther hands, but they got penalty not in the most dangerous situation on last minute and Almere scored it. It comes after painfuldeafeat against Brighton at home in Europe league which made their situation in Europe complicated too. So, not the best way to go into international break.
In main game of round, Feyenoord got minimal 1:0 win against AZ, while PSV had no problems against Zwolle 4:0 and remain on top with 7 point distance from Feyenoord.

PSV dominate the league like in the last good years of Ajax, when PSV could only take points from Ajax, currently a perfect start of the season of PSV. Ajax have now won a game again, but it will be very difficult for Ajax to reach the Europa Cup places with these performances. The 7 point gap should normally not be a problem but this year I am not confident.

PSV, the leader among the teams in the championship age, has made 11/11 as of today. AZ Alkmaar left two points on the table with a draw in a tough away game. PSV looks to good in the Eredivise. They are just perfect 11/11 wins and i think i never seen that before in this league. I think no one is even close to their quality and i think this season this will be an easy title. They destroyed Heracles without much effort and that shows how good is their team.

Their performance is very different when playing in the Champions League, this is clearly visible in the group B points table. Their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 are increasingly difficult, but that doesn't mean this is impossible to make happen. After Ajax's victory which allowed them to stay a little above the relegation zone, today we have 4 games and they are games in which 3 of them involve top teams. PSV Eindhoven will play against Heracles Almelo, on paper the difference between these two teams at the moment is a very big difference, with PSV being the leader of the table with 30 points and coming from a sequence of 5 consecutive victories against Heracles Almelo which is in position 8 with 12 points and in the last 5 games they won in just 1 game, had 2 defeats and 2 draws, they become easy targets for PSV to leave with 3 points and further increase the advantage they have in the table in case of other top teams lose points

And talking about points, Feyenoord Rotterdam who are also playing today, cannot afford to lose points in this game against RKC Waalwijk, despite RKC Waalwijk being a team that currently occupy position number 9 and Feyenoord are currently in position number 9. 4, you should not underestimate RKC who in the last 5 games managed to have 3 wins and 2 draws, it is true that when they played against top teams such as PSV and AZ, they lost and conceded 3 or more goals. but Feyenoord is coming off a defeat that, despite being a defeat against a top team, could still mean that their players would not play very motivated. the odds give a clear advantage to Feyenoord

Honestly, I don't know the reason why ajax seems to be flopping this season, after sacking their coach Maurice Steijn last week and appointing Hedwiges Maduro as caretaker coach, let's see if they would be able to make a difference. Maybe their winning against Volendam yesterday might be a liberation point for them.

Ajax being dutch giants that have claimed about 36 league titles is really experiencing their worst run for a long period of time and fans and football lovers are anxious of them coming back to form.

Ajax Amsterdam is known for training and developing young talented players and sell them out to other clubs after they start recording awesome performance by the players. Players like  Cruyff, Marco van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp, Wesley Sneijder and Frenkie de Jong, all these talented players have shown their skills and talents here in Ajax before leaving the club.

I know Ajax have been really performing very awful this season but they were impressive against Volendam who they're sharing the relegation spot with, I would had been more embarrassing if Ajax had lost the match, they've needed a win to boost their confidence level and I hope they'll continue to remain consistent and try moving to upwards before it's too late, Ajax have given their fans something to be happy about atleast it would give them hope that they might bounce back sooner.
 
 Ajax have managed to move out of the relegation zone, this is something their fans would be very happy about and I think they need to find a way to remain consistent and improve to try at in the Europa or conference league if finishing in the top 4 is not possible this season, PSV are the current league leaders and the most likely to win the game based on their performance and gap they use in toping the standings currently.
 

Well we never know what can happen in the future, but yes i agree with yours words, this win for Ajax can be the turning point and the start of a new good luck, if Volendam managed to draw the game it can be a much more diferent history, but well we can already say, Ajax is out of relegation spots 

Volendam had that big chance in around 70th minute to score and make the game 1-1. Unbelievble miss by the Volendam player he went one on one with the keeper and the keeper saved it. Thats was their only chance of the match. Overall they parked the bus. Ajax finally got that win in the league and might turn the season around

^ Opportunity Volendam? Ha! They managed 3 attempts against the shittiest Ajax you'll see in your lifetime and allowed them to try 26 times by the time it became 2-0 moments ago.

I think Eredivisie can now curse Volendam for breathing new life into the Luckys... if Ajax turn their season around, it will be tonight that serves as the turning point. Bah.

Here I have to agree with you about Ajax vs Volendam match, but I have feeling both teams are having equal chance to win this game and bring themselves out of the relegation jail with for me Ajax can take positive turn because they are already at their worst and things need quick change before this have more deep Volendam is having good performance in last few games which are giving them fair chance for the jump at 10th spot after this win.

Ajax having one win from their last eight games are clearly indicating how things are going into this giant club in the Netherlands, they are having one game against Waalwijk 2 - 3 just 7 minutes to hold for the another win which is also required for changing the team momentum right now.
