AZ Alkmaar continue to be wounded in the championship race .AZ Alkmaar lost 2-1 at home to NEC Nijmegen and remain on 30 points.PSV are likely to be champions this season. We must say that they are progressing superbly in the league. The team, which has increased its points to 42 with 14 wins in 14 matches and managed to increase the point difference with its closest rival Feyenoord to 10, continues its championship path without any damage.
Ajax, on the other hand, have started to recover.Ajax, who won 3-2 away to Waalwijk, have continued their rise in recent weeks and increased their points to 21 and managed to move up to 6th place.I must say that they deserve a big congratulations if they manage to come from so far behind and overtake Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar.

I totally agree that PSV are literally unstoppable. Because they have won all of their 14 games played in the league until now. They are incredible in offense and defense at the same time. It started to seem to me like they have changed roles with Ajax. Because Ajax also had this kind of solid seasons but I just don't know any of their starts was this huge.  Grin

PSV are really good at balancing the Eredivisie and Champions League at the same time also. Maybe they might not see more than last 16 in the Champions League but still it is a good success.

Thankfully Ajax are also on a great streak in the Eredivisie without a loss for many weeks. There is a huge point difference between the Champions League area and them though but they can at least join a competition by finishing in much better place.  Smiley
I see PSV as too superior and really strong in the League. They have a goal difference almost twice as big as second place. They are also the team that has conceded the fewest goals in the League, as well as scoring the most goals in the League. This is a crazy record. Will they end the season without defeat, and repeat what Arsenal did in the 2003/2004 premier league?

They are also quite good in the Champions League. I think they will be able to reach at least the quarterfinals or maybe the semifinals.

Ajax looks to be struggling this season. They also performed poorly in the UEFA European League by not achieving a single win. There is a huge difference between the two teams this season.

But isn't PSV already qualified for the next round? I don't think they need a draw as they played their games against Lens and won one game 1-0 and tied the other game 1-1. No matter how this last game ends, nothing can change in that group anymore for Arsenal and PSV. The odds aren't great or anything, but if there was still something on the line for PSV I think a bet on PSV could have made sense. But this way both teams are playing for nothing.

However, I agree that next round I don't see them as a tough contender. But what they are doing in the Eredivisie is insane. That goal difference!  Shocked
PSV are really one team to watch out for in this year’s UCL Edition because they’re creating some incredible stats that are worth seeing and they could just be the surprise team of the season’s UCL, they’re through to the Round of 16 without much stress and that’s shows the characteristics of a winner, (champions).

The Round of 16 might be quite a tough one for them but we can’t fail to give them some part of our money when we place bet on them because their stats this season are seemingly crazy, they're doing very well both in the UCL and their domestic l (Eredivisie) League, however with the way they're going I won't be suprised if they get past the round of 16.

I would like to believe that you are right because I think it is exciting if a team that is not expected to go very far in the Champions League actually is ready to present some surprises. But I don't think that PSV has enough quality to win a game against a team like Manchester City or Real Madrid. I don't only want to be pessimistic, but in a realistic world I think it would not be looking good for them against the biggest teams. In the Eredivisie they are above every other team and literally untouchable.

A really impressive performance by ajax this evening against Waalwijk has earned them victory and they were able to get three points by the end of the game tonight, I must commend their resilience in this match as they kept on setting the pace while Waalwijk kept trying to meet up with them by getting equalizer almost immediately after their goals.

Ajax has so far show that they are improving and getting back on their feet well enough in the eredivsie this season, they seem to be getting out of their poor beginning and getting into regaining their form for which they were known for in the Eredivisie, if only they can add consistency to their current improving performance, it's very possible they could regain back their dominance in the eredividisie once again. The victory they got tonight has earned them three points Which has further increase their points to 21 and gotten them to the sixth position on the table, it's very possible they could make it to the top four before the league ends.

PSV in champions seems to be having very big troubles in defense,i think is not a change in the way they play, its most like the quality of the teams in Champions make them pay every failure, and eredivisie that doesnt happen, for the lack of the offensive players in the teams.
A sample of seriousness will push a club to do far better than their current opponents this season. PSV is regarded as one of those more competitive teams in the UCL and their home league; they are an efficient unit that doesn't mess around. PSV dominates the Eredivisie, which is thrilling exciting information for the club's followers. The competition is ferocious. They're also at an even higher level in Group B of the UEFA Champions League. Peter Bosz, the PSV manager, has transformed his team, and he is expecting ultimate triumph.

I think in the Champions League PSV is still lucky to be in group B, and another piece of luck that I see is that Sevilla is not having a stable performance. In the next match against Arsenal, the Dutch representative only needs to force Arteta's squad to a draw, this opportunity is quite open considering that the match will be played at Philips Stadium.

I'm pretty sure PSV will qualify for the round of 16 even if they draw or lose to Arsenal. In short, if Lens vs Sevilla draws, or Lens loses to Sevilla then PSV will automatically qualify. On the other hand, for me personally it is actually very natural that PSV is a little different when appearing in the UCL, because we know the competitive level of the Eredivisie and they come from there.

In the Eredivisie PSV is unstoppable, last week Feyenoord also failed to become a stumbling block for PSV steps, now the point difference has formed to 10 points, I think 50% of them have won the trophy now.

They are through to the 16 of the UCL and yes, they could meet a top team but with their composure they could be one surprise team to watch out for in Europe.

PSV is playing great football in local Dutch league, but I clearly doubt that they can do anything serious in CL
all will depend on a draw, but you could see against Arsenal that difference in quality is simply to big to be ignored, and that they will easily drop-out on some of top European teams

but playing in R16 in CL is already a success for PSV, and Feyenoord didn't succeed to pass, but they will have better time in Europa league, where they have better chances to pass further
also, congrats to PSV on all wins so far, it is a rare event to see

PSV are really showing us that they seriously want the title and are chasing it so well with very incredible stats as these stats maintained over time could bring the league home. I think they’ve replaced Ajax who were known for this domineering stats in the Netherland League. They are through to the 16 of the UCL and yes, they could meet a top team but with their composure they could be one surprise team to watch out for in Europe.

Yea, Ajax had a poor start but they’ve quickly regained their foot and are bouncing back so fast, leaving no stone unturned and they can probably finish at a spot for an European competition next season, good for them the January transfer is fast approaching and then they'll strength their squad better to be able to finish in a better spot for the European competition.

PSV have swept all their matches in the Eredivisie this season with a win. their statistics are impressive, with 50 goals scored in 14 matches. this is an incredible record, and shows that PSV is too tough for any team.

Last season, PSV finished as runners up behind Feyenoord. but this time, they look more than ready to win the title. on the other hand, it could be said that PSV have also confirmed their place in the round of 16 of the UCL, simply playing a draw when facing Sevilla. I think they will fight further than just the top 16.

Ajax have had a tough season so far, but they are starting to show improvement in form. Ajax still has a chance to improve their position in the points table. they need to continue to be consistent so they don't fall into the degradation zone again like yesterday.

It feels like we are seeing that old and good PSV from the mid 2000 where they are very capable of reaching good stages in the Champions League, its good to see them back to that levels after son many years being one more team in Europa league or even worse than that.

The numers of their season in Eredivisie are beyond amazing. 14 played 14 wins, 50 goals scored and only 6 goals allowed!!!!!

Ajax suffer this season, it's pretty bad to watch these players having nothing to prove this season. Ajax can still make it up for the top 4 only if they're consistent in upcoming games. They can do it, I know they're capable but they just need a match or events to ginger the players and the coach to emphasize on good records this season. I've never for a second, consider Eredivisie league as a competitive one because mere watching their matches, doesn't prove any form interest actions, rather its boring and full with average teams that can't even stand the pressure form European clubs.
There's great improvement on their side currently, looking at the early part of the season when the season just begun, Ajax was so poor and it was even worse that they were almost consistent with loosing their games repeatedly and it was almost looking like they weren't getting any better soonest because they suffered loss even with a weak team.

Currently they have improved greatly, on paper they used to be and probably are amongst the biggest teams in the eredivisie, last season before the selling off of their players, their performance were one to be reckoned with but after the sales of their players the effects was evident on them by every passing match but they are currently bouncing back regardless and I'm sure they may even finish tops moreover eredivisie isn't so competitive as they are mostly average.

PSV is unstoppable at the moment, they are simply destroying all opponents

Also two weeks later, very impressive, PSV are playing a perfect season so far. Second to fourth place is hotly contested but evenly matched, so anything is still possible.

Even though Ajax lost to Marseille in the Europa League and have now been eliminated from the Europa League, they have won again in the Eredivisie and seem to be getting back on track and are slowly closing the gap to 5th place, but it will still be very difficult.

the results of today's games did not bring many surprises, the most important game of this round without a doubt was PSV's game against Feyenoord, in this game PSV is aware that it would be facing a very strong opponent, mainly because it is an opponent who also is fighting for the title, so it became an absolute priority for PSV to win this game to remove their opponent from the race for the title and fortunately for PSV they managed to score two goals in the 2nd half and were already well on their way to victory, the His opponent managed to score 1 goal but was unable to change the result of the game and with this defeat PSV begins to pave the way towards winning the title in a more relaxed way.

in another game involving a top team, twente managed to win very easily, and with this victory they are in position number 4 and with 30 points, the same points as AZ who are playing at the time of writing, in case AZ wins so they will have more than 30 points, but honestly the game is almost over so I doubt that AZ will win, so it will be counted as if they had drawn against utrecht. Leaving aside the results of the top teams, Ajax, who played against NEC, managed to win, it was an important victory for Ajax who are slowly approaching the top, they are still in position number 8

but I think that as there are still many games left for the league to finish, perhaps more than 20 games left, so there is still time for Ajax to at least be able to finish in a position to access European competitions, but this will depend on how Ajax will do when play against the current top teams. but I have no expectations that Ajax would be able to become champions, I think this is a mission that the team has no chance of, they should focus on 2nd and 3rd place
Since Ajax lost form and started this season with a slow pace, PSV has become the most feared team in the Eredivisie league, they've not lost any league game in about 14 matches and have won their last 5 games that's why I'm not surprised with their performance against Feyenoord cause I knew they'll either win or draw Feyenoord, however they really tried cause Feyenoord is another tough team with a good record this season, and beating the one of the best makes you the overall best, that's what PSV are currently (the overall best in the Eredivisie league).

Ajax would had been above PSV or maybe in Feyenoord's position fighting to get past PSV but their slow start has hindered them from being in the top four, however all hope is not lost cause being in 8th position is not bad since there's still lots of games to be played all Ajax need currently is consistency especially against mediocre teams in the league.

In 1st half PSV didn't looked impressive, but inn2nd half they were much better. With 2 goals in 2 minutes they basically knocked out Feyenoord. After 14 rounds PSV have perfect result with 14 wins and just 6 goals conceded. I doubt that's possible to maintain such form all season long, so, to early to award them title. Few draws and things may become interesting again.
Result in Utrecht - AZ didn't changed and ended 1:1. While Ajax after win is already in Conference league playoff spot. And they still can get direct spot. Now Ajax is 12 points behind Twente. Potentially 9 because Ajax is yet to play their rescheduled game.

Well guys, PSV opening a very big gap now after the win of today against Feyenoord, we have to be pure honest and yes, this PSV is by far the best team in the league and also they are doing good in europe, they sealed an amazing week after winning on Sevilla coming back from a 2-0 and now with this win.
