I consider today another good day for Ajax as they were able to secure victory again and have finally seen their self in the top five team with 24 points, all thanks to their recent series of wins back to back, I think this happens to be their third win in a row recently , it's been winning streak in recent times.

It's most likely ajax is back in form and may likely further ascend to be amongst the top four on the table as they are currently few points away, although the team at the top of the table have got 42 points and which will mean ajax will have to continually win all of their recent games if they will at any point be able to displace the team at top. Nijmegen is another team that has been doing well in recent times as compared to their form last season.

The main atraction in this season is gonna be if Ajax can recover the gap between them and the third spot.
For me seems like they are already wake up, and AZ is droping a lot of points, so maybe in the 3/4 of the season we can see Ajax surprasing them.
AZ Alkmaar has 30 points and Ajax 21 points. That's quite a difference in my opinion. Although Ajax won 4 of the last 5 matches and AZ Alkmaar lost a lot of points but I think we have to see a few more matches if Ajax can be consistent with their game.
I think Twente is still very strong this season. They will probably secure third place at the end of the season. For Ajax I think fourth or fifth is a fairly realistic target for now.
Nine points gap its not significant with more than a half tournament ahead, also that mid teams like AZ Alkmaar or Twente always lack some extra faith or force in final instance and they ended up crumbling against the pressure and start to lose some points against weak tams, so Ajax come back for me its quite possible until third position.
The possibility of Ajax making a comeback from nine-point gap is reasonable. Indeed, in a tournament with more than half remaining, a nine-point gap can be considered manageable, especially for a big team like Ajax who has a strong mentality. The dynamics of mediocre teams facing pressure in the final instances and potentially dropping points against weaker opponents is a common pattern in football.

Ajax's performance in their couple games and their ability to capitalize on situations make a comeback plausible, especially if they can maintain consistency and capitalize on any slip-ups from teams above them. The competitive nature of football often leads to unexpected outcomes, and your observation about mediocre teams experiencing challenges under pressure adds an interesting dimension to the title race.

I agreed about comeback of Ajax as they are doing impressive job and having 4 wins from their last five games which bring them to sixth spot with their strength and quality are impressive, and they can bring themselves to the better spot before end of this season but still this is going to be one of the worst time for them, and they have to learn from their mistakes in the future.
Currently, we have one match between Twente vs Excelsior situation is very interesting as visitors take early lead by two goals but sadly 26th minute red card bring them down but still they are doing best and holds Twente from taking full three points score is 2–2, and we are in 80th minutes can they hold them for few more minutes action packed match is going to be had good end.

Edit: 81st minute goal from the super sub van Wolfswinkel bring Twente to winning position as it's his second goal of tonight.

They were lucky to have scored 2 goals when the game was close to ending, but when you look at their opponent, it doesn't really justify that Feyenoord had such a lack of skills to score many goals early. Anyway, the fact is that there is a difference of 10 points in relation to PSV, and I highly doubt that Feyenoord will be able to reverse the current scenario. especially as long as PSV is winning games consecutively, yesterday PSV had another comfortable victory, they are having an excellent campaign this season, last season was also good for them, although they only managed 2nd place, but this season They have everything to be champions

ajax managed to win in their game, but honestly they won with a lot of difficulty and luck, thanks to the penalty, and they were playing against a weak opponent who is fighting to get close to the relegation zone, but even so ajax had difficulties to win, even There are a lot of things to fix at Ajax and without new players it will be difficult to compete at the same level with the top teams, I'm wondering what the Ajax coach will propose to Ajax's management in terms of signings to reverse the current scenario. because this season there is no way for Ajax to do much in terms of fighting for the title, that is already a lost cause, now they need to focus on not being relegated and preparing the team for next season
Feyenoord won’t pose much of a threat to PSV they might try to come close but I don’t think PSV will let this title slip out their hands. You can see from the way PSV plays every game and try to win the match that shows how serious they’re gunning for this league and they’ll sure have it as their reward for hardwork. They’ve got the squad depth to challenge and also they’ve got the drive to pull some big surprise at Europe’s top stage, the UCL.

Ajax who’re regaining form managed to get all 3 points from the spot kick, though it was surprising as many thought Ajax will trail comfortably but this shows that there’s quite much work for the coach and his crew in terms of the players and new recruits. The January window will soon be on and he’ll need to get in some key players else he’ll probably lose form and go down the log. Ajax needs a good squad so as to challenge to get an European spot next season.

Today Feyenoord played against Volendam, in that game Feyenoord was already seen as the favorite to win the game since Volendam is currently in the last position of the table and has gone 5 games without winning while Feyenoord is currently in second place and in the last 5 games there was only 1 defeat. But what seemed easy on paper turned out to be the opposite on the field, Feyenoord managed to score a goal very early, still in the 1st half, but Volendam scored a goal 20 minutes later and with that the game was tied and the 1st half ended. in the 2 half Feyenoord had difficulty scoring more goals, they only managed to score goals after 90 minutes, I must say that even with more than 80% of the ball possession that Feyenoord had, they were still very ineffective in attack.

They were lucky to have scored 2 goals when the game was close to ending, but when you look at their opponent, it doesn't really justify that Feyenoord had such a lack of skills to score many goals early. Anyone knows who owns and what is the record of points in the Eredivisie history?. Because if PSV still in this path maybe they can broke some records, and that can be a very interesting thing to follow and catch for the team, to keep the concetration high when you see the second team far below.
If Wiki don't lie, this record belongs to Ajax, in 71/72 season they got 93 points from 102. So, now it looks that this record is possible to reach. Still, I don't believe that they will end season without defeats.
Today they reached another easy win, beating Heerenveen 2:0. Meanwhile Feyenoord is leading vs Volendam 1:0 after 20 minutes.

I see PSV as too superior and really strong in the League. They have a goal difference almost twice as big as second place. They are also the team that has conceded the fewest goals in the League, as well as scoring the most goals in the League. This is a crazy record. Will they end the season without defeat, and repeat what Arsenal did in the 2003/2004 premier league?

They are also quite good in the Champions League. I think they will be able to reach at least the quarterfinals or maybe the semifinals.

Ajax looks to be struggling this season. They also performed poorly in the UEFA European League by not achieving a single win. There is a huge difference between the two teams this season.
Ajax being sixth and even half the points the leader, it's clear that PSV is the best team in the league right now. I mean Ajax will not stay there for too long, we are talking about a team that played semi finals just a few years ago, they sold all their good players and made a lot of money, so they are going to keep on spending that money on finding cheap great future stars like they always do and that should be something that will take some time.

But during that time, PSV knows that they do not have too much left, they need to do the best they could do for the next few years, they have maybe max 5 years left, and they need to end up winning as much cups and titles as they could in order to get the best out of it.

This season, PSV's form is Excellent with 14 wins and no draw or lose. This performance currently places PSV at 1st out of 18 teams in the Eredivisie League. PSV's home form is excellent with the following results : 7 wins, 0 draws, and 0 losses. And their away form is considered excellent, as a result of 7 wins, 0 draws, and 0 losses.

PSV has scored a total of 50 goals this season in Eredivisie. That’s quite massive, for them them to do the invincible of Arsenal well it’s very possible especially if they’ll get out of the UCL early and focus majorly on the league, they’re a surprise team this season in Europe. Their counterparts, Ajax are doing quite bad and poor but they’re already turning the situation around for their good.

AZ Alkmaar continue to be wounded in the championship race .AZ Alkmaar lost 2-1 at home to NEC Nijmegen and remain on 30 points.PSV are likely to be champions this season. We must say that they are progressing superbly in the league. The team, which has increased its points to 42 with 14 wins in 14 matches and managed to increase the point difference with its closest rival Feyenoord to 10, continues its championship path without any damage.
Ajax, on the other hand, have started to recover.Ajax, who won 3-2 away to Waalwijk, have continued their rise in recent weeks and increased their points to 21 and managed to move up to 6th place.I must say that they deserve a big congratulations if they manage to come from so far behind and overtake Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar.

I totally agree that PSV are literally unstoppable. Because they have won all of their 14 games played in the league until now. They are incredible in offense and defense at the same time. It started to seem to me like they have changed roles with Ajax. Because Ajax also had this kind of solid seasons but I just don't know any of their starts was this huge.  Grin

PSV are really good at balancing the Eredivisie and Champions League at the same time also. Maybe they might not see more than last 16 in the Champions League but still it is a good success.

Thankfully Ajax are also on a great streak in the Eredivisie without a loss for many weeks. There is a huge point difference between the Champions League area and them though but they can at least join a competition by finishing in much better place.  Smiley

But isn't PSV already qualified for the next round? I don't think they need a draw as they played their games against Lens and won one game 1-0 and tied the other game 1-1. No matter how this last game ends, nothing can change in that group anymore for Arsenal and PSV. The odds aren't great or anything, but if there was still something on the line for PSV I think a bet on PSV could have made sense. But this way both teams are playing for nothing.

However, I agree that next round I don't see them as a tough contender. But what they are doing in the Eredivisie is insane. That goal difference!  Shocked
PSV are really one team to watch out for in this year’s UCL Edition because they’re creating some incredible stats that are worth seeing and they could just be the surprise team of the season’s UCL, they’re through to the Round of 16 without much stress and that’s shows the characteristics of a winner, (champions).

The Round of 16 might be quite a tough one for them but we can’t fail to give them some part of our money when we place bet on them because their stats this season are seemingly crazy, they're doing very well both in the UCL and their domestic l (Eredivisie) League, however with the way they're going I won't be suprised if they get past the round of 16.

I would like to believe that you are right because I think it is exciting if a team that is not expected to go very far in the Champions League actually is ready to present some surprises. But I don't think that PSV has enough quality to win a game against a team like Manchester City or Real Madrid. I don't only want to be pessimistic, but in a realistic world I think it would not be looking good for them against the biggest teams. In the Eredivisie they are above every other team and literally untouchable.

A really impressive performance by ajax this evening against Waalwijk has earned them victory and they were able to get three points by the end of the game tonight, I must commend their resilience in this match as they kept on setting the pace while Waalwijk kept trying to meet up with them by getting equalizer almost immediately after their goals.

Ajax has so far show that they are improving and getting back on their feet well enough in the eredivsie this season, they seem to be getting out of their poor beginning and getting into regaining their form for which they were known for in the Eredivisie, if only they can add consistency to their current improving performance, it's very possible they could regain back their dominance in the eredividisie once again. The victory they got tonight has earned them three points Which has further increase their points to 21 and gotten them to the sixth position on the table, it's very possible they could make it to the top four before the league ends.

PSV in champions seems to be having very big troubles in defense,i think is not a change in the way they play, its most like the quality of the teams in Champions make them pay every failure, and eredivisie that doesnt happen, for the lack of the offensive players in the teams.
A sample of seriousness will push a club to do far better than their current opponents this season. PSV is regarded as one of those more competitive teams in the UCL and their home league; they are an efficient unit that doesn't mess around. PSV dominates the Eredivisie, which is thrilling exciting information for the club's followers. The competition is ferocious. They're also at an even higher level in Group B of the UEFA Champions League. Peter Bosz, the PSV manager, has transformed his team, and he is expecting ultimate triumph.

I think in the Champions League PSV is still lucky to be in group B, and another piece of luck that I see is that Sevilla is not having a stable performance. In the next match against Arsenal, the Dutch representative only needs to force Arteta's squad to a draw, this opportunity is quite open considering that the match will be played at Philips Stadium.

I'm pretty sure PSV will qualify for the round of 16 even if they draw or lose to Arsenal. In short, if Lens vs Sevilla draws, or Lens loses to Sevilla then PSV will automatically qualify. On the other hand, for me personally it is actually very natural that PSV is a little different when appearing in the UCL, because we know the competitive level of the Eredivisie and they come from there.

In the Eredivisie PSV is unstoppable, last week Feyenoord also failed to become a stumbling block for PSV steps, now the point difference has formed to 10 points, I think 50% of them have won the trophy now.
