Is very fun to see Ajax already reach the european spots of the tournament after winning only a couples of games. That shows how weak are the other teams in this league, obviusly they still far away from the top 4 positions, but now they can start to play more calm.
Recently Ajax's has been showing some very tremendous improvement which I must say should be commended in their last five matches, they have been able to win one , this is much better as compared to their previous performance where they can losses five matches straight.

Moving out of relegation should be considered a great achievement for Ajax because at some point it was already looking like they may be relegated considering the facts they they were performing poorly in both the eredivisie and in the Europa where they were at the bottom of their group, if they can be able to make it back to the Europa spot in their domestic league table this quick enough then it's very possible they will finish top four before the end of the season.

On Sunday we have one of key matches in Eredivisie this season - Feyenoord - PSV. If PSV will win it, they will have 10 points lead already. And yeah, we can't talk about winning league after 14 rounds, but 10 points would be very serious already. In tennis it would be called hidden championship point. While Feyenoord win would make everything very interesting again. Usually games between these teams is very high scoring, so, going with over 2.5 goals and BTTS looks like easy money, though odds aren't very attractive. Maybe worth to try going with over 3.5 @2.23? I just hope that this game won't be ruined by fans behaviour as it often happens in Eredivisie main games.
Other big teams have difficult away games - Twente vs G.A Eagles, AZ with Utrecht and Ajax against Nijmegen. So, we can expect that someone can drop points.

Ajax suffer this season, it's pretty bad to watch these players having nothing to prove this season. Ajax can still make it up for the top 4 only if they're consistent in upcoming games. They can do it, I know they're capable but they just need a match or events to ginger the players and the coach to emphasize on good records this season. I've never for a second, consider Eredivisie league as a competitive one because mere watching their matches, doesn't prove any form interest actions, rather its boring and full with average teams that can't even stand the pressure form European clubs.

It's great to see that Ajax has a streak of 4 games without losing, although this result is thanks to having played against very weak teams, which is why it's difficult to know if they've really become strong again, or whether these latest victories are thanks to the luck they had of playing against weak teams, I see that in Ajax's next game against Olympique in the Europa League game it could give us an idea of how much Ajax has improved, and it is true that Olympique when they played against Ajax in the first leg , they drew 3 - 3 and it was in a period when ajax was going through bad performances, so at this moment ajax is going through a moment of improvement while olympique is declining in its local league, but like the league in which olympique plays is more superior in terms of quality compared to the league that ajax plays in

So Ajax beat Olympiqu in a comfortable way, that would give us an idea of what to expect from Ajax this season, I don't see Ajax having any luck to move on to another stage of the European League, but it's still not impossible for them, but at least they can do it. Victories in these 2 remaining games would clean up the image of Ajax, who have so far played 4 games in this group stage and have not won a single game. It's too humiliating, especially because it's a group that doesn't have any great teams, doesn't have any great teams fighting for the title in their local league. I hope Ajax wins the remaining 2 games in the Europa League. about the Eredivisie, unfortunately, even if Ajax recovers and wins, they will not be able to be champions

Ajax Is a top club as we have seen from previous seasons, where they were in the UCL and even reached the semi finals, Where they were knocked out by Tottenham, so it's a fact that they were a very good club, but since their former coach which led them to this 'success' Erik Ten hag left to Manchester united we've seen them struggle to even get to European competitions.

Ajax started this season quite poorly which saw their coach sacked now with the new coach it seems they have regained their form in their league, yes we can tag it so because when they were having poor run of form, no team was considered bad when beating Ajax, but it doesn't look the same in Europa as they still  didn't win their last game against Brighton and this makes it pretty hard for them to qualify to the knock out stages. This would be quite the test for their new coach and team, If they fail to qualify they can look to putting all effort into their league games and qualify for next year's European competitions.

Ajax have definitely made progress since the change of coach, winning three and drawing one of their last four games. But they are still 12 points off the European Cup places, four wins more than Twente at the moment. And the top four teams don't lose often either, so Ajax will need a very good and consistent performance to finish in the top four. The cup is the fifth place, if I'm not mistaken?

But if the Eredivisie manage to finish ahead of Portugal in the 5-year ranking, they will have 6 places and 2 Champions League participants? I can't see them finishing ahead of France.

and will have gone 2 consecutive times without winning the Eredivisie, at this moment Ajax is struggling to get the luck of finishing in 3rd or 4th place, because I highly doubt that Jax will be able to catch up to Feyenoord and PSV. And talking about these two teams, they both won which means they are unstoppable, that is, as long as they are winning consecutively, the clearer it will become obvious that Ajax will not have a chance to finish in the first position and in the second position. and they will have to fight against AZ and Twente to be able to overcome them and have a place in European competitions, something that is not impossible to see AZ and Twente have many defeats to the point that Ajax catches them, but I think it will be difficult
A very interesting review, and it can be understood that Ajax chances of becoming Eredivisie champions have disappeared, and even before I thought that they could no longer be saved at the bottom of the standings, but I see that they have found a turning point in their performance so they can be consistent. We never know how long this form can last, but I don't think they will go into that red zone again.

On the other hand, in the European League, Ajax should also be able to spread their luck in the remaining two matches. It is true that if they continue to lose it would be very embarrassing and this incident would tarnish the club's history. The difference in points with PSV at the top of the standings has reached 24 points, it is impossible to wait for PSV to lose in their 8 matches, and this means Ajax must change their targets to be more realistic. Like 3rd or 4th position, other than that I think it's no longer possible.

Ajax played their best game this season - they destroyed Vitesse 5:0 at home.
-snip

agree, it was probably best game that Ajax played this season
and it is a sign that this international break did them good, I expect to see them climbing the leaderboard in following weeks, and eventually join play-off competition

PSV is unstoppable at the moment, they are simply destroying all opponents
Hopefully Ajax will return to winning for good this time. The last victory came with a lot of goals but it was against the last team in the standings. Same goes for Volendam. Almere isn't that top, yet they got a draw with them. A quite close opponent was Heerenveen and they knocked it with 4 goals to 1. Ajax scored 13 goals in these 4 matches which is equal to the number of goals scored in the first 8 matches. There is an improvement for sure and they should keep up that way!

Ajax played their best game this season - they destroyed Vitesse 5:0 at home. Yeah, it's just Vitesse who are last now, but still, quite impressive. And Ajax is already in spot which would give them place in Eredivisie playoff for Conference league. I said in past that no matter how bad Ajax started season, I still expect that they can reach place in UEFA competition. Offcourse, it will be not Champions league, just Conference league, but still, better than nothing.
PSV won 3:0 against Twente away. Twente got red card quite early, and after that it looked like matter of time until PSV will score. I'm struggling to find when Twente lost at home last time because they were undefeated whole previous season and 12 rounds this season. They're still 3rd , but probably out of title race already, 12 points behind PSV. Only Feyenoord still keep somewhat moderate distance - 7 points. And they won their game vs Excelsior 2:4 today.

Tomorrow we will have many games involving the big teams.

SBV Excelsior - Feyenoord

This is a game in which Feyenoord is favorite to win the game, with such a low odds value, something around @1.25 if Feyenoord wins the game, while Excelsior has an odds of @11.00 if Feyenoord wins the game. win the game. Looking at the performance of these two teams in the last 5 games shows how Excelsior is in a bad situation, in the last 5 games they have not managed to win in any game, they have had 3 draws and 2 defeats, while Feyenoord in the last 5 games have managed to get 4 victories and only 1 defeat. I see this game as being a good opportunity for Feyenoord to win and get closer to PSV in the table

FC Twente - PSV Eindhoven

This is the most important game of this round in my opinion, because it involves two good teams at the top, twente in the last 5 games wasted a lot of points because they had many draws, there were 3 draws and 2 wins, and they come to this game with 2 draws consecutive, while their opponent PSV has 5 consecutive victories, and an excellent performance, PSV also has an excellent attack and defense. with 12 games, they have scored 45 goals and conceded just 5 goals, while FC Twente have scored just 25 goals and conceded 11. In my opinion PSV will win this game

ajax could have left the game against almere with a victory, but even though they won the game and had more possession of the cake and the clock in their favor because there was little time left for the game to end, they still missed this good opportunity to leave of this game with victory. they conceded a draw at 90 + 3 minutes on a penalty. Honestly, Ajax has had a very disappointing defense this season, in 12 games they have already conceded 22 goals. I see that if they could improve in defense then they could have better results. But this is something I highly doubt will happen

while Ajax is fighting to stay far away from the relegation zone, we see PSV fighting to distance itself from the teams that are in second place. and now they have a difference of 9 points and that is a big difference in points, PSV will probably be champions this season as long as they continue to play the way they are playing. but if they drop in performance, then they will lose a great chance to be champions. With Ajax being bad and Feyenoord also being inconsistent, PSV needs to take advantage of this opportunity they are having this season
Ajax let 3 points slip out of their hands in final minutes of a match, this is something that’s really worrisome for the new man in charge of this Ajax team, since the start of the season Akax has turned to a shadow of itself and we don’t know if it’s the same Ajax that caused some upset amongst top European clubs some seasons ago in the UCL.

The defense line of Ajax team is shaky and the attackers aren’t clinical, the midfield is nothing to write home about if they’re not able to  build up their defense from there and give the defense line not much to worry, however PSV is one club who’s standing out in Europe this campaign season as wee see them going to fight and maintain top spot week in week out so as to avoid any slip of the title, PSV just needs to remain consistent and they’ll be taking the league home quite early.

last minute penalty and Ajax missed two more points this season
they are fourteen points below 4th placed AZ Alkmaar, will be a real feet to come close, and all positions below are for Europa conference league max

Feyenoord won over AZ in this round, and PSV is still on max points this season, 36 points from 12 rounds, they are flying throughout the season, probably looking for some records

It already looked that Ajax is already starting to play football but this round they dropped points against tiny Almere City. It was tough game, but it already lloked that Ajax have it in ther hands, but they got penalty not in the most dangerous situation on last minute and Almere scored it. It comes after painfuldeafeat against Brighton at home in Europe league which made their situation in Europe complicated too. So, not the best way to go into international break.
In main game of round, Feyenoord got minimal 1:0 win against AZ, while PSV had no problems against Zwolle 4:0 and remain on top with 7 point distance from Feyenoord.

PSV looks to good in the Eredivise. They are just perfect 11/11 wins and i think i never seen that before in this league. I think no one is even close to their quality and i think this season this will be an easy title. They destroyed Heracles without much effort and that shows how good is their team.

PSV dominate the league like in the last good years of Ajax, when PSV could only take points from Ajax, currently a perfect start of the season of PSV. Ajax have now won a game again, but it will be very difficult for Ajax to reach the Europa Cup places with these performances. The 7 point gap should normally not be a problem but this year I am not confident.

PSV, the leader among the teams in the championship age, has made 11/11 as of today. AZ Alkmaar left two points on the table with a draw in a tough away game. After going one-nil up in the 72nd minute, the visitors were devastated by a goal in extra time. It has to be said that the home team didn't play badly.
Feyenoord, on the other hand, won away against an out-of-form opponent and added 3 points to their tally. Feyenoord, who played a dominant game from the beginning to the end of the match, definitely deserved this win. With this win, they managed to move up to second place.

PSV today destroy Heracles with a contundent 6-0, i really like this PSV team, is very offensive and they play quite well, i hope they can go far in europe competitions, and if they can ending winning something at this level the next market transfer they are gonna sell for a ton of money.

Like they do with Gakpo and Madueke.

Their performance is very different when playing in the Champions League, this is clearly visible in the group B points table. Their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 are increasingly difficult, but that doesn't mean this is impossible to make happen. His good performance in the Eredivisie, with perfect points achieved in 11 matches, seems to have failed to be transmitted when playing in the UCL. PSV latest victory over Heracles with a score of 6-0 should be a good asset when facing Lens, but this step seems to be happening.

On the other hand, I don't expect Ajax to experience a drastic decline in performance, both in the Eredivisie and in the Europa League this season. Ajax position is now exactly the same as PSV, and the chances of qualifying for the last 16 are also very small.
