Take a look at Diamond (DMD) or CryptogenicBullion (CGB), etc on coinwarz.com. Those are relatively new in the crypto game yet they have a higher value because they are more scarce. DOGeCoin would be an example of doing the opposite-- super huge block rewards, and look at what that coin is worth? about half a penny per coin.
At the end of the day coin value means nothing. Sure, dogecoin are worth peanuts, but since it was so easy to mine, it has been my most profitable coin (I was there mining from the start).
Im mining RPC too from the start, same hashrate, so we'll see what's more profitable in the long run.
In any case, I hope RPC is a success since Ron Paul is awesome.
Btw, what I tried to say here if it wasnt clear enough: It's development of the coin (cool cool new features that make it special) and/or promotion (for example, DOGE being such a widespread meme and first meme coin) what makes a person get big profits from a coin. For sure, scarcity with make a single coin a lot more valuable, but you get the point.

If Bitcoin was 50 coin per block then this should start off with 5 coin per block?
Ron Paul Coin has 2 minutes per block which is 5 times faster than Bitcoin's 10 minutes per block.
Therefore we do 1 coin per block every 2 minutes, which equals 5 coins for every 10 minutes (as you were expecting).
5 RonPaulCoins per 10 minutes compared to Bitcoin's 50 coins per 10 minutes (when it first came out).

Cool, love this concept. I dont see this being one of the pump n dump scams e.g EAC,CAT,DOGE but this could be a great coin, especially if Bitcoin goes mainstream in the future. Like the 2.1M coin cap too.
Thanks.This is precisely the point and why I made RPC this way.
If you'll notice-- any pump n dump coins are always high coin caps. This is so that they can accumulate TONS of coins very quickly and then UNLOAD them on an exchange.
I created RonPaulCoin to do the opposite-- It rewards in very small amounts to make it rare so nobody would want to sell their coin so quickly. You'd be pretty dumb to sell RonPaulCoin early in the game.
