The new pool is coming along nicely and giving me better rewards since no BIG miners on yet.

http://ronpaulcoin.miners-point.com/

I'm on this pool too. I see you have the highest hash rate so far.

In the pool and my cgminer show 27khash........why so low?

All settings are the same as usual and should be 260kh.

I'm going back to solo even with only 70K bc I see a fork in the future if the op and pool operator allow one pool to have over 90% of the hashrate.

We have to balance it out if major problems are to be avoided.

Finally got it up to 260ish kh

How do you do solo mining ? Can't get mine to work.

To begin with, do you have a conf file created in the RonPaulCoin folder located in the roaming directory? If so, cut and paste the contents here or pm to me.

Second create a shortcut to your ronpaulcoin-qt.exe.  Then right click the shortcut and select properties.  Locate the shortcut tab in properties and find the box next to Target.  In that box should be the location of your qt file and ends in "\ronpaulcoin-qt.exe"  (without quotes ) add a space then -server at the end so it looks like "\ronpaulcoin-qt.exe -server" (without quotes). Hit apply and then OK.

rpcuser=****
rpcpassword=*****
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9026
port=9027
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
gen=0
addnode=108.61.83.36:9027
addnode=71.94.45.245
addnode=93.185.192.72
addnode=84.28.132.1011
addnode=24.7.226.120

\ronpaulcoin-qt.exe -server" - did that and wallet loaded then nothing happened

conf looks fine

Make sure there is no quotation mark at the end of the bold above.

Did you use the new shortcut to open qt?
Did wallet sync? Green check mark at bottom right
Are you using cgminer? If so, please post bat file

Or you can mine at the new pool ronpaulcoin.miners-point.com in order to help even everything out.

If you still want to solo I will continue to help.

I would dearly appreciate any and all donations to keep this coin going! Ron Paul best Paul.

How is donating to you going to keep the coin going?  Not to long ago you were offering to purchase some.

Circulation? Take whatever you can get, circulate. Simple for a coin that barely started.

At any rate, I can't for the life of me figure out how to gpu mine this thing.

RPC. Finally a coin with a face I like!

Just got my 1st coin at http://rpc.muchhash.com!  Grin

Alright...sounds great.  Please consider switching to http://ronpaulcoin.miners-point.com/ pool in order to even out hashrate so we do not unintentionally fork the coin.

Interesting Coin... but where is the source?  Repo on github is 404!?

Problems have been mounting and Dev is MIA.

But I do know github has been jacked the last few days in regards to many more established coins as well...sometimes thinking robots are downloading bc of all the traffic.
I do not know if that is the problem but is a possibility.

Well if this coin is to survive, it's going to need public source.  No more mining pool, no more nothing w/o source.

I agree, we need more competition. Dr. Paul would want it that way Grin

Covshark

I see in the pool you have a good hashrate...are you willing to go solo?  I just mined a coin with 70K hash solo since switching back solo.

I solo mined since the beginning and just jumped on the pool. I don't see much profitability solo mining anymore. As soon as a second pool opens up, i'll jump on there to help increase healthy competition.

Also, we need a giveaway thread to increase awareness of this great coin. If the OP wants to start a giveaway I'll donate a little towards the cause.

It is your rig do as you like.  But with the diff at 22K and your hash you are just as productive solo.  I'm really just trying to prevent a fork.  That potentially makes all mining activity worthless.
