Grand finals on Heroic vs FaZe today. I'm leaning towards Heroic given how well their run is and just beating Navi in a very convincing fashion. FaZe seemed to still be in hanging on a thread even after their win against NiP. If Ropz hadn't stepped up on the last round in Nuke, things would have been different and NiP would have been here today against Heroic. FaZe better be shutting down cadiaN a lot if they want to win against the Danish roster. Sjuush and jabbi's lurk is also something to be aware of if FaZe wants to get a fighting chance. Broky is consistently putting in the numbers for FaZe; that will help but surely not enough if their executions and timings aren't that good.

Think I'll go with Faze in this game vs NiP.   They seem to be playing a bit more dynamic, working together though the scores are even right now.   Its been very close series,  NiP have nearly won this 2-0 but Faze do have the greater percentage of map wins on Mirage
It was the right choice but you were very lucky because everything depended on the Nuke map and Ropz won a crucial round for FaZe that would take the game to overtime in round 29. If that round had been lost, there would have been no overtime and FaZe would have been eliminated from the tournament. As you said on the Mirage map, FaZe has good statistics and the decisive map was not too difficult for them.

  This is exactly the scene I was talking about;

Heroic beat liquid today in the blast premier semifinals. Heroic plays very well as a team. We saw that again today. Stavn showed himself in this match. He played a good game and won the match for his team.
In the other match of the day, we are watching the faze-nip battle. Faze brought the situation to a draw. The last map is mirage. I see Faze one step ahead.

Its been a while that I've been updated with the CSGO and of course with the team seems like the Team liquid make their new roosters of this match, upon watching the game in the overpass Heroic gameplay becomes so much more aggressive but during their early start for the 10th round they keep rushing the match cause to get choke and Liquid can follow up with their scores the suspense part too is the 10 seconds changing of plan to plant but still cant manage to deal with, if there's a chance probably can cause a comeback or overtime this game 1.

FaZe is actually another team which is a mess in the recent times. They just seemed more alive than NaVi in their Heroic matchup before. But now they are showing another inconsistency example against NIP. They already need to make a comeback to be able to qualify for grand final. Nuke is one of the most successful maps for FaZe and it is the total opposite for NIP. But we never know what can happen while NIP is fired up and FaZe is not a credible team.

If FaZe manage to win this map the decider is going to be Mirage. This is even a worse map (14% WR) for NIP again while it is among the best maps for FaZe (67% WR). Even if FaZe qualify for grand final this time their job might not be as easy as the first one against Heroic. Because after losing to FaZe, Heroic have showed a great reaction by eliminating some other big teams like G2 and Liquid.

Mirage is one of those maps that a lot of great teams fail to get good at. The map has been around for almost a decade and I still see teams that has a very low win rate on the said map. NiP must secure their T-side rounds if they want to win this map, whereas Faze can just chill around and bide their time as they know this map pretty well somehow.

Team work paved the way to Faze's win over NIP in Mirage. They dominated NIP and NIP cannot do anything against them. Faze has proven they can still perform and come back in the game. They have put the bad finish in RIO and are now in the finals against Heroic. This is their way back to the top.

It will be an epic match tomorrow. Heroic, the second placer in RIO, and the former top 1 Faze.

As good as Faze is, I would like to root for Heroic in this Finals. Heroic is just starting in their domination of CS. They are young and hungry.

Who do you think will win?

That's not pure speculation.

Probably a close friend from any of those player or the organization itself, it's been shared already and didn't want to have it said as an official so they made it look like a pure speculation.

There's always an insider and someone people who are aware of the roster changes. If I remember, there's one that's been doing that on the reddit in the name of lgdamefan. But he's missing in action this season.

It's pretty obvious from the get go. Tryke, one of the bosses of Blacklist, is actually good friends with all of those that were acquired by the org for their dota roster. I'm just not sure why they picked Raven over Gabbi in the carry position given that Gabbi has gained notoriety for his role with these guys (Tims, Kuku) as his supports. But whatever talks they had behind closed doors, for sure Gabbi was considered, it's just that Raven, perhaps, may have been actively putting his best foot forward with the recommendation of Kuku as well.
It's likely that Gabbi has been signed already by Fnatic even before these shuffle has happened or before the contract of Raven expires. They've assured that they'll be taking Gabbi than extending the contract of Raven.

AFAIK, it's more desirable to take Raven than Gabbi and that's what I've seen on this roster. Anyway, good luck on them and fans are expecting a lot from them and considered now as one of the strongest roster in SEA.

This is like the old TNC line up except for Karl.

I really don't understand what is going on with Natus Vincere these days. They are eliminated in another tournament officially. I was believing in them against NIP. Because NIP were also a not very consistent team for a long time and I thought Natus Vincere would defeat them thanks to their quality. But they failed on the decider map by 16-10. s1mple wasn't ahead with his statistics this time. When he doesn't do an extra job the team struggle even more. es3tag and Brollan had the biggest role in NIP's win on this map by the way.

I'm thinking about if FaZe's end could also be like Natus Vincere's. Because they are not in a very different condition than them recently. Whichever team win this matchup they are going to be Heroic's opponent in the grand final. The grand final winner goes to the World Final but the loser is just taking the money.

NiP just won the first map against Faze. I thought Faze had it when they were rolling into the bombsite round after round, until that great lurks from aleksib that catches Faze off guard. Props to karrigan for the strats that are really cancer when it comes to taking A site in OVP, but the Ninjas easily figure out how that rotation works and they just shut down Faze since round 22 up until they won the map. Now I'm kinda rooting for a Heroic - NiP grand finals because of how well the latter is performing.

We will see, Overpass is NIP pick, so I am actually expecting them to perform well on it. They were almost beaten at it though. Nuke is Faze pick, so I expect Faze to completely dominate this map. I am expecting the third map on this matchup. I do not think Faze will struggle in Mirage.

This match could still go either way. I just hope they were not demoralized too much by how they lost in Overpass. If they do, that will spell disaster in their comeback in Nuke.

They are having a good start with 3-0. Good sign for Faze.

Heroic, led by Cadian, eliminated the G2 team. Although they were defeated 16-6 on Nuke, Heroic were successful on other maps. There is instability in G2, as always. Niko, m0nesy and Hunter are okay but I think the new signings are the wrong choice as I have said before. They made a mistake sending Nexa off the team and now they're paying for it.

On the Navi side, I see b1t very out of shape yesterday and today, he does not contribute enough to the team and moreover, it makes the team's work on the maps difficult. He was quite unsuccessful in the inferno individually. It is going bad individually on the Mirage map, and now the first half is about to end. The facial expressions of the players in the team tell a lot morels have already started to deteriorate, of course, there is also the effect of yesterday.

Mid round decision is what causing G2's instability. Their t-side is extremely shaky and easily readable. I think nexa could have easily made the change as the dude's also a very capable entry fragger but meh.

On the other hand Navi is being pummeled by NIP currently, with s1mple showing obvious signs of frustration every time he thought they have the round and just lost. OVP is a very CT-sided map, but this last map for Navi doesn't look like it.

BLAST Premier has ended really early for G2. They have eliminated in the quarter finals after a 2-1 defeat against Heroic. G2 still have a long way to go to be able to reach a high level in this big tournaments. They still don't play like a top tier team I mean. The new transfers like HooXi and jks have been performing pretty well actually but they still lack in team performance.

Natus Vincere are playing against NIP currently. NIP won on Inferno and they are in the lead by 1-0 for now. Mirage is like the worst map for NIP now - %17 win rate. Natus Vincere should be able to make it 1-1 here. The decider map is Overpass and the map stats are nearly the same for these teams. But hopefully Natus Vincere will perform stronger as a team and win. s1mple will need to do an extra work as well.

Yep, Also Alodia is one of the owner of this since Blacklist is under the Tier One company that owned by Alodia. Typically people connected on the team has information regarding this news besides there’s nothing weong to share the potential roster line up since they are new and probably the manage wants a spotlight and publicity to make there brand popular to the public. I think Blacklist will be the next TNC predator of the Philippines which is the favorite team of Filipino community with the current prospect line-up.

Blacklist is good on scouting players as they already prove themselves by founding this same team on ML with a solid achievement since there day 1. I think Alodia charsima and connection what makes this e-sports brand easily get the perfect roster that they want. Imagine snatching players from well known teams is not an easy easy feat if Blacklist is not owned by influential people in PH.
I strongly agree with you. Tryke and Alodia is one of the influential pioneers of esports in the Philippines. Tryke as an ex dota caster and alodia as a cosplayer also as a gamer surely knows what they are approving on the line up of their current Blacklist dota 2 team. They have a pretty good roster picking given that their ML Blacklist team is competing internationally and wins some of the tournament they are joining. PH Dota 2 community is so hype after they heard that Blacklist International is making a roster for Dota 2 and hoping that the team will be the next TNC or be greater than their old team since members are former TNC players.

I think Ana goes inactive again unless there are offers coming from the top teams. Liquid maybe?

I do not think OG announced a replacement for ATF yet, so maybe Ana can go part-time in OG in the meantime. He has been part-timing everywhere but has not found a real home since OG. I think it is time he goes back to OG.

I would also like to see Kuku as a coach or if he can shift to a support role although they already had TIMS and eyyou. Who will be the captain of Blacklist? Kuku or is it going to be eyyou?

I think Kuku is better off focusing on Offlane. We already saw him captain T1 last season, and it did not go well. His picks are very predictable and go for the same strategy over and over even though it is not bulletproof. We do not want the same tragedy to happen in a newly formed team. Eyyou can take over as captain. They did not announce a coach in their announcement so if they do, that could make a big difference in the upcoming tournaments. Hopefully they pick a great one.

Hopefully they don't fall off like TNC. The problem with TNC is that tjey never pushed their players hard enough and supported them hard enough to make an actual difference for their players who are, back then, hungry for tournaments and wins. I remember after their first TI and good placing, eventually dropping Miracle and co., they somehow settled with that win and didn't attend/join much of the minor tournaments for the grind. Hopefully Tryke and Alodia changes that, as we see in their ML squad they are pretty hands-on and supportive of the players they have.

This is a bigger investment and has bigger tournaments so I think they will be even more involved in this one. They know that grind is important so I believe we will see them in more tournaments. Hopefully, they qualify for TI in their first year as a team.

I’m surprised that Kuku is still being given value to still form a team like this. I think should just do coach role instead of doing offlane since he is not effective anymore on competitive play. He is just a burden most of the time if his hero feed on laning phase. BlackList surely expanding now to Dota2 right after dominating the ML.  Cheesy
I still think he's a good offlaner even though they crumbled in TI and we can't assume that just because the team is struggling already means that he's the only one bringing the team down and there might not be a lot of offlaners that could mesh with this kind of lineup....

I would also like to see Kuku as a coach or if he can shift to a support role although they already had TIMS and eyyou. Who will be the captain of Blacklist? Kuku or is it going to be eyyou?

With so many roster announcements and reveals this week hopefully we see some EU teams next.

Most of them probably stay with the same team. Nigma isn't making any moves either. So far it is only Alliance that has no line-up but we're not even sure if they are heading out of DOTA 2 since they are becoming irrelevant lately. As for Liquid, I wonder who's going to be their replacement for the retired MATUMBAMAN. Gaimin needs a midlaner which may be a good opportunity for Topson if he wants to stay in Europe while OG, is looking for an offlaner.

I think Ana goes inactive again unless there are offers coming from the top teams. Liquid maybe?

Heroic - G2 is going on right now. There is a 1-1 tie in the series for now. It was interesting to see that both teams lost by a big score gap on the maps they picked. We are on Vertigo now and Heroic are 6-3 ahead. They have really similar stats on this map so it won't be surprising whichever side wins. The winner is going to be Liquid's opponent in next round.

My favourite is Heroic here because G2 still seem more inconsistent. YEKINDAR also stated that G2 were still the same after they got past G2 by 2-0 before. He is right about this I think. Because they still struggle when it comes to having a winning streak and improving their effort. Besides I don't see NiKo having his best performance these days as well. Heroic were really desperate against FaZe on the second map though but we shouldn't still forget that they were the finalists in the Major.
