That's one of the significant reasons. ICOs sell off ether and the price goes down.
According to the following statistics, ~90k eth has been sold by the top 10 ICOs over the last month.

You are right when we compare the price last year, we will see recent price is still much more than last year eventhough after dumping.
It does need to be panick. But sometime, the investor or trader who bought the etherium in high price such as 1000 dollar, of course they will be panick.

You are right, after a week or during first week of the following month it will for sure will rise again, that is why we just need to just keep holding what we do have, don't panic as it will just cause stress in our life.

Each coin has it's ups and downs. It's made it this far so I'm sure the prices will go back up again. I mean bitcoin is going down too, doesn't mean it that bitcoin is dying. They are each going through their normal phase. Don't worry too much about it, in the long run it should be fine.

i didnt think ETH would suffer as much as its suffering currently. shows you that nothing is sure in cryptocurrency. even with all the utility and erc20 tokens on the plaltform, guess its not saving it. still a lot of sells crashing the prices. crypto needs a whole new wave of investment. only saving grace.

For me it is just a period of the moment like other coins have their downs now, etherum is just a alt but thanks to its original technologic things it could surprise us with the price soon, hopefully.

That's a possible argument. It's been a long time since ETH value was this low. Hopefully the trend will turn soon, since there's so many project based on ETH contributions...

Please don't be an enemy to crypto by asserting that ETH is dying. The reduction in market price doesn't not affect only ETH but the reduction is general to all coins. This reduction can terminate ETH in the market but it strengthens it by the time it picks up again.

There might be price manipulation in cryptosphere but that will be done to disrupt its balance. But those artificial price manipulation wont succeed over time. Therefore, it still possible to ethereum and alts to hit a new all time high.

The decline this time I felt quite serious because of various reasons that would make people panic and might lose their confidence in crypto. Honestly I personally still hold everything and try not to panic, but worries are mounting on me. If the price drops lower then how long should I keep waiting for the market to recover to sell.
