Assess the prospects of bitcoin, it is necessary from the point of view of the possibilities of its network, such as commissions and speed. But, the Ethereum crypto currency has a different set of characteristics by which it needs to be evaluated. The future of the Ether depends on the speed of development of its competitors, such as Cardano, and the success of the startups already started on its platform. But, in comparison with bitcoin and other altcoyins, Ether has one advantage. Demand for it is constantly supported, thanks to a number of ICOs selling their tokens based on the ERC20 protocol, which can only be purchased for the Ether.

I think BTC dominance will continue to drop BUT, I also think ETH will start to lose its dominance over other protocols like NEO and EOS over the next year or so. ETH really needs to start scaling or it will be left behind by similar coins with better tech.

I like Ethereum, don't get me wrong, but it's decentralized nature really slows down the decision making process and at the min

Bitcoin and Ethereum have different project purposes. But for me Bitcoin is still far ahead than Ethereum even though Ethereum is also being used by many altcoins for transaction purposes and etc.

Bitcoin will remain on its throne.
Bitcoin is still one level above the Etherum. Although current Etherum continues to show a positive thing but the value and market it has is still far compared to the market share owned by Bitcoin. But I am actually optimistic with Etherum, yes it may take up to several years to get a better view of Etherum development. Both are the most popular and most popular coin today. So choosing both is not a mistake, investing in Bitcoin and Etherum would enable us to be able to achieve a much greater advantage than investing in coin / ICO project that exists today.

I really like Ethereum it is popular and has good capitalization, but bitcoin is the first and most famous among ordinary people) Ethereum should try very hard if he wants to be the first

it might be, because I see the token's potent etherium is bigger than bitcoin and I think it will be the thing that bitcoin users will get less and besides that bitcoin really needs a lot of capital to hold it and give big advantage on users while etherium is very much different with bitcoin.

I don't the Ethereum posses any threat to Bitcoin yet. Its a good coin with a huge potential bu Bitcoin is far too established to be under pressure form ETH. there shall come a time when its completely developed, but still it wont be as good as Bitcoin is Wink

I think Ethereum is not a threat to bitcoin as it performs very different functions. Ethereum is a platform for the functioning of smart contracts and even if ever the Ethereum capitalization becomes more than bitcoin, in the cryptocurrency market nothing will change and each coin will be used for its purpose.

The biggest threat to Bitcoin comes from its own deficiencies and not from any of the alts. The scaling issue is not yet resolved. And we don't know when it will resurface once again. I haven't quite forgotten what happened in December 2017. Users were paying up to $50 for just one transaction.

But this is no longer an issue. Bitcoin transaction fees were never above $3 since the end of February 2018. Right now you can pay around $1 for an average size transaction for it to be confirmed within an hour and sometimes it's only $0.25 these days. And that's not because we have much less transactions now than we we had in December 2017 - January 2018. The number of transactions per day was fluctuating between 230k and 450k back then, and now, April - May 2018, it is between 150k and 250k.

Enthereum Ms. Bitcoin will accompany. If really replaced, Enthereum will have a strong breakthrough. But to me Bitcoin is still a long way from Enthereum. So the problem you put out I think it's too vague.

Ethereum is a threat to bitcoin? Yes it is. We all know that ethereum was created by a russian programmer on 2013, and it was launched on 2015. After 3 years it is next to bitcoin in terms of popularity and value.

Let me show you some NBA perspective on this, bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency right? same as LeBron as the king of NBA. But here comes ethereum the prince of cryptocurrency just like Ben Simmons as the prince of the NBA. The prince will dethrone the king on the eastern conference finals same as ethereum that will dethrone bitcoin in the next couple of years. Wether we like it or not the king will reach its limit. Mark my word. Trust the ethereum process!

I strongly disagree because your prince team model is eliminated in the final. Cheesy now back to ETH that i believed ETH will not be a threat to BTC that even ETH platform used as the standard ERC20 platform for all ICO due to i wonder of what will going to happen to the ICO if the ICO advertising will fully ban by next month in June in which i believed that the numbers of ICO will going to reduce and so the real demand of ETH too.

From a business point of view, this is a kind of virtual currency that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. The technology of the Ethernet coin allows people to do more complex business with shared and decentralized thinking. I think although Ethereum cannot completely replace Bitcoin, it must be very competitive. It is possible to go beyond Bitcoin.

I dont think if Ethereum is a threat to Bitcoin. These are two different coins at the top of the cryptocurrency pyramid, they have different product and offer different services to the market. therefore there is no threat posed by one from another

I like Ethereum, don't get me wrong, but it's decentralized nature really slows down the decision making process and at the minute, it shows.
I am not sure what you are trying to tell here, how does decentralized nature slows down the decision making process, if you look at ETH all the hardfork they ever did were without any consensus and to be frank i never liked their centralized nature about the network upgrade without any real discussion about the changes. For the people who thinks that ETH is a threat to bitcoin, they are just delusional.

Both currencies are designed for different purposes, so there should not be too much competition between them.

Yes Ethereum opposes a huge threat on Bitcoin because their technology is way advance compared to bitcoin's.
Bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrencies but it is not the future
If you disagree with that feel free to say so

I agree with you bitcoin is really a father cryptocurrency out, but the technology is not in place and all the new altcoins has many such advantages that there is no bitcoin. ETH is also a very advanced and successful cryptocurrency, and I think that after some time ETH will become king of the crypto market.

I see ethereum on how they really works on the crypto market now, maybe the possible scenario when ethereum price going up to the top level like bitcoin price and it will act like a threat to bitcoin, but for me the threat is not actually really there, because bitcoin and ethereum are acting like a brother and sister on this business.
