Ethereum is good enough but you can't say that it is the better than Bitcoin. Because, Bitcoin is the pioneer in this digital coin concept. Still, the Bitcoin is representing the index of the whole market and it will be forever. Ethereum is the father of the all the cryptocurrency as it is given birth to all other token on it's blockchain. This is the unique feature of the Ethereum but at the same time it is insecure also. But Bitcoin has now flawless of any mistake and it is totally anonymous. That's why it is accepted globally. So, I think Bitcoin is Better but others are also good.
maybe that's because ethereum has a smart contract with several different ico projects with bitcoin that don't have the advantage of what ethereum has, but I think both of these coins have promising prospects and cannot be compared as a whole, it's better to invest in both. this is good for the long term
you can not compare these 2. ethereum and bitcoin is not same things. ethereum provides a platform and a blockchain solutions for other project. it haws been really very useful for the ecosystem. there are still so many projects that running using ethereum based erc20 tokens.
Comparing Ethereum to bitcoin is an apples and oranges comparison. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency with quintessential decentralization whereas Ethereum is a smart contract platform primarily. They both have their strengths and weaknesses and will coexist. There is room for more than one cryptocurrency within this ecosystem.
i guess in the future, ETH may be stronger than BTC but it will take a very long time before the world can change and bring ETH become more value than BTC, rightnow ETH is at the second just after BTC and too small market cap when compared with BTC, moreover BTC can still have more trusts from investros for longterm so it is hard for ETH to take BTC place soon, we should keep investing ETH until it better in the future.

Ethereum is a good potential coin and many are seeking it as the bitcoin's replacement but still, it won't be able to surpass bitcoin. However it is widely used nowadays in many of the payment gateways and moreover, the team behind its development is also great but it will remain as a second option...
Base in my assessment on this one some community said that in terms of Ethereum usages it is much more better than Bitcoin. But even Eth is much more better in terms of usages, still Bitcoin prevails in terms of price value in the market. In short, most of the investors in all over the world are still embraced to hold Bitcoin compared to Ethereum.
Ethereum might has more features and bigger ecosystem, but it will hardly ever replace Bitcoin. If I had to choose the cryptocurrency to invest in for a long term and had a choice between BTC and ETH, it would be Bitcoin.

Brian Kelly, the founder, and CEO of an investment firm focused on digital currencies BKCM LLC, believes that Ethereum will be a better investment than Bitcoin.
Brian Kelly, from his point of view, points out the following reasons:
👉1. Ethereum Futures Contracts
First, Kelly believes that Ethereal futures contracts or ETH Futures will soon be launched, as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially decided that the Ether is not a security. This action has removed the biggest obstacle for Ethereum – The 2nd ranked coin in market capitalization to institutional investment.
However, what Kelly does not mention is that launching the Future Ethereum could more likely to pull down the price of this second-largest cryptocurrency rather than help it.
Since the launch of the Bitcoin futures contract, Bitcoin’s price has plummeted and many blamed the use of investment tools to manipulate the market for this decline.
👉2. Augur
Secondly, Kelly pointed out that the Augur platform was one of the main reasons for Ethereum's rapid growth when compared to Bitcoin.
As described by the analyst, " It’s a decentralized prediction market. What’s interesting about this [is that] this will probably be one of the biggest decentralized apps on top of Ethereum. If [augur] doesn’t slow the system down, that can generally be a positive for Ethereum."
👉3. Proof-of-Stake Protocol
Finally, Ethereum's upgrade from hardware mining to software mining will drive the continued growth of the cryptocurrency.
Ethereum creator - Vitalik Buterin, also recently explained that Ethereum's scalability improvements to the layer solutions will multiply one to another - improving the number of users that the system can handle, which increase the processing capacity of up to 1 million transactions per second.
However, this refers to the fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not fully competitive. Upgrading the Ethereum platform is likely to serve more of a rivalry between competitors like EOS, while Bitcoin will remain its top position in transferring and storing value.

No. We all know that bitcoin is better to ethereum, both coin are good and have some differences. But I think bitcoin is more greatness that ethereum although sometimes there's slow in the transaction.
There is no amount of reasons given or justifiable proofs that will be given, to make me agree that ethereum is better than bitcoin.
This is obvious and it is what we all know that whatever has more widespread of acceptance is termed to better. Although, ethereum migh have been working to bring more improvement to its platform, yet it is still below the general high ratings given to bitcoin.

I now really prefer ethereum rather than bitcoins. Ethereum is now relatively low valued and will probably continue to grow in value in the future. This is a promising multi-functional coin with a good team. Recently there have been improvements and two more stages of improvement are planned. Bitcoin is still improving very slowly.
Ethereum and Bitcoin are both good coins, but of course Bitcoin is superior in terms of quality and price, both of them also have the advantage of each - which makes it a special coin and of course these two coins are very promising to be made an investment for the future

in some ways Ethereum is superior to Bitcoin but overall Bitcoin is still on the wind among the other coins so now Bitcoin is still number 1 coin.proven if Bitcoin still holds the biggest control in the market because Bitcoin is still highly trusted by investors.
