I still prefer to buy Ethereum. This is the leading alternative coin in cryptocurrency market. And now Ethereum has a good price to buy. Ripple has a good momentum of growth in recent times. And the amount of trust in XRP for me has increased significantly. And I began to buy more XRP.
Over the past month, Ripple has shown himself very well. The price of the coin jumped sharply. In principle, this was expected. And naturally, as a result, many investors have paid attention to this coin. Let's see what will happen next
I am buying both with bias on eth as I prefer decentralized coins. Not sure how to mine Ripple though.
Base on my level of understanding, Ethereum is the best to invest than Ripple, because Ethereum has the potential, usage in the future, for instance Ethereum wallet accept other alt-coin, but in trading platform and also to invest for a long period of time.
Investing in Ethereum and Ripple? I will say this-it is necessary to invest in both coins,as both coins are very promising with good capitalization and a great future.
I'm not a loyal or strong fan of any coin. Instead I like to have a taste of every good coin. So as for me, what I would do is to invest in both, maybe 60% ethereum and 40% ripple. This is better me so I won't regret not buying any of them when it grows well in the future. Also if anyone of them gore bad, the other can compensate my losses.
Now many people are talking about the prospects of ripple. However, I would not write off ETH. My opinion is to invest in both coins.

Ethereum is very good with the technical part. All this we have long understood, he is trying to develop and modify. If he continues at the same pace, I think he will regain his former greatness.
In my portfolio these coins are 50/50 and they together only 8% from my crypto.
I were to invest now on these two ALT coins, i will put 50/50, both coins are strong in the market, will good fundamentals, clear market structure and a growing numbers on possible investors in the market, this two coins are always in the news, yes, it have some positive and negative but for as long as the people on Crypto Currency Market are putting investment on this coins, they are both benefiting from such investments.
Etherium
I choose ETH. I believe in ETH and believe it will recover by the end of this year. The ETH management team has changed very positively and I see that ETH has started to recover.
Of course I am for ETHEREUM !!! ripple is not even a cryptocurrency, it will never cost much!
In my opinion, this is a very difficult question, and it’s almost impossible to give a definite answer. The reason being all of these have their advantages and drawbacks and virtually nobody can give you more than a speculation.
Ripple have to test and have to compete with Stellar Lumen which is more cheaper and faster than Ripple.
My choice would be Ethereum. It is a second generation blockchain, and the implementation of smart contracts and decentralised applications makes it a far more valuable investment in my opinion.
Many people start to invest in Ripple instead of Ethereum. These 2 giants are fighting for the second and third place in the list. What do you think is wise to invest to?

I bet on Etherium. I don't like Ripple with its centralization, which contradicts all cryptocurrencies. I am sure that in the near future Etherium will grow in value and very much overtake competitors in capitalization.
Where did you see the centralization in Ripple buddy?

Both coins are pretty good. I would have equally invested in one and the other. this way you reduce the risk of losing the money invested.
from the proven analysis these two coins are indeed high potential. I also think that I will invest in both of them when the current price is low, but it is quite worrying when the time goes down. but the quality will soon rise soon. If I choose only one of them, then I’ll be more into ETH, and I see more potential in ETH than in Ripple.
Ripple has now made his rise. Now it is more rational to look at other cryptocurrencies that will begin their upward movement. 
for now I am more interested in ripple. I see that in the past few weeks the ripple has gone up, while Eth has just the opposite. but if for the long run I would definitely prefer ethereum. because as long as the ICO is still popular, there are still many people who need eth.
