There is a lot of work for them to do in the near future, but to be honest I think Canada and Germany have played very well against them with an extremely good hit rate from all distances.

I was wondering if the score is normal like that. In four quarters scoring 111:111 for the two teams before overtime started, isn't that a hell lot of points?  Each quarter is just 10 minutes and this is a score average that I thought would be way above of what is normally to be expected.

But USA was the big favorite and I think they had a hard time to motivate themselves to play for 3rd as good as they would play as if it was for the title. This was a disappointing tournament for them.

The last shot by Mikal Bridges brought the game to overtime. Unfortunately, the USA struggled in the extra period, and it appears they won't be getting the Bronze. It was the worst performance by the USA, and they need to be evaluated to prevent such occurrences in the future. I would like to congratulate Canada; they performed well tonight and beat the USA. Another seemed to be unsportsmanlike foul was called on Portis before the game ended; they were clearly frustrated.

A few minutes have passed and the USA managed to tie the game...
I confess that I also bet on the US team, well, I believe if they maintain this performance, probably they will beat Canada (I hope so)

The USA didn't play well against Canada. The third quarter is over, and Canada is leading by 9 points. We know that the USA won't give up, but they are in a precarious situation. Hopefully, they will be able to come back so I won't lose my bet on the moneyline. I'm also placing an extra bet on the USA moneyline with 3.40 odds. Good luck!

Still a country's pride and the game even it's for the bronze both squads will try to complete the tournament with something to bring home
though I'm in the impression that key players would try to avoid any possible injury and just play the usual routine.

Early quarter and Canada have the lead, we might see them win or maybe US is just analyzing the game and will start to push after the next couple
of minutes.

We can't be sure whether they did it or not but we don't know what happened behind the scenes we know that USA is always the champion so it's a bit strange if they are fighting for 3rd/4th place imo. Regardless of our opinion, we should just wait and see how this ends this match will start in a few minutes and I will ignore it by not placing a bet, our focus is on Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 if USA points are less than 50 points in the first half then it could be suspected 

For me, I am OK with the two teams but for sure I will bet because I like the USA and I like any teams in the FIBA because I think that the USA will be motivated to get any position in the FIBA because they likely lost a close game against Germany but for sure I will feel OK even if the USA lost this game but this is just what I think may happen in this game, but anything can surely happen this is Basketball after all,


for sure the fans will not care about the third place at all and will go straight in watching the Championship but if the USA lost against Canada then Steve Kerr's and the USA's reputation is on the line for sure so they will do anything they can to surely win this,

But man it is really hard to pick on the finals because both teams could surely win and this is really a close game for sure but I have chosen Germany because they got a Footballer on their team so yeah they could kick the ball in the ring instead of shooting with hands, (just kidding)


I really think he doesn't mean something like that but yeah fixing a game in FIBA is really impossible I guess there could be a referee favoring a team but for an official to be favoring something that would be obvious for sure and yeah why bother fixing a game for the 3rd place why not for the championship,

I doubt there is a game fixing in the battle for the bronze. At the very least, it could be that some American players aren't that interested in the 3rd place and will lose the fire in them. But I am pretty sure that their coach Steve Kerr wants to win the 3rd place. This is a challenge to him and he will do everything to enlighten his team in getting a win. The same with Canada, they want this 3rd place and then come back stronger next year in the Paris Olympics with their experience.

Less than an hour already before it starts. I actually have ML bets on Canada and Serbia.

A fixed game? I don't know about that. There's too much ego at stake for team USA not to win the bronze medal. They would be a laughing stock back home if they don't. They are already embarrassed enough so they should at least finish the tournament with a win. Canada may not have that same drive but I bet they would still want to show they can win. These two teams will most likely become close rivals in the world stage for a few more years.

Exactly what I thought they won't care about this medal if they get an ''order'' from the bookie they will take it that's why I ignored the fight for 3rd and 4th place
USA has lost 4 times in this tournament and all those defeats were not in important matches, I mean not decisive so I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again
I'm not saying USA will definitely lose this match, it still depends on 'orders' if there is a request   what do you think, will they get 'orders'?

The USA vs Canada game will be funny I think.
Nobody really wants the bronze medal, but also they don't want to lose against each other.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see very sour faces at the medal ceremony for the 3rd place winner, especially if it's the US team.

Their expectation and self confidence ( some could say overexaggerated pride ) cost them the title. They thought they could show up with a B team and dominate. Well Lithuania and Germany showed them otherwise. 

Yeah between USA and Canada I don't expect anything I don't see anything interesting I wouldn't place a bet there, I'm afraid they are playing like behind the scenes you probably understand what I mean    Meanwhile for Germany and Serbia this is not something that is easy to predict both teams have the same strengths and opportunities, the same thing that the gambling market offers Germany 1.87 and Serbia 1.90 it's not a good idea to bet on the money line I will choose over in each Quarter especially in Quarter 4 as the final result.

So, today is the big day! First, starting with 3rd place game between Canada and USA. I really wish that Canada would win, I think that they deserved medal. And maybe poor result 2nd World Cup in a row would change US attitude a bit and next time they will bring more serious squad with some 1st tier stars.
And final between Serbia and Germany. Pointless to predict something, but what I can say that I doubt that Germany can win with such crazy offense like they did against USA, Serbia won't let it to happen. I expect to see a bit more defense. Will watch game from more or less neutral perspective, but probably I will prefer Germany to win.

For sure this FIBA World Cup will be an eye-opener for many and for the NBA to not give proper importance to sending their best players in it but sure their reasoning is also not wrong for the new young talents will surely gain quite experience in this event, but still, I think the lost of the USA team will serve as a wake-up call that there are greats outside of the NBA and the NBA is not a base of superiority when it comes to a peak in Basketball and getting out the mentality that if there is an NBA player in a team that team will likely succeed, which is Correct and Wrong at the same time because there are no proper answer to it, but equality,

Now my picks for the last two games of the FIBA World Cup,

USA VS Canada

For sure it is a close game mostly due to all the losses of the USA but Canada can not be underestimated They are also a solid team and their losses are close enough and as I have said not because there are many NBA players on the team doesn't mean they will likely win but there are surely not wrong aswell, and so I think the game between Germany the USA team is quite formidable so my pick is the USA team,

Germany VS Serbia

For the finals, this is really an interesting choice, and who's going to be FIBA champions for sure Serbia has given their all in their previous games and it is not shocking enough that they are winning against Canada while many are surely giving credit to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander I really think Bogdan Bogdanovic wasn't given much attention at all but for this game Germany will surely get this game they have Bayern Munchen backing them up,

Dennis Schroder is pretty much great in Team Germany while not so much in the NBA, well You can say that FIBA is now in a different league, and looking at Team Germany I can say they are a tough nut to crack, even without Dennis Schroder on the team I think they will do well against any team there is while the USA is the 2nd best team they can played with for sure Serbia is going to be a tough game for them with Bogdanovic leading the team,


They did what they could but it was really a hard game for sure Steve Kerr has already said and I think he really did what he could in the game but there is no answer to that at all, Germany is a team that excels in good passing, and the team Bayern Munchen is the real reason for giving them great results in the Basketball league, I really think that they will make even great progress next year, so the NBA better think fast to send their all-stars or not in the FIBA or getting them stuck in the NBA, because I have seen greater progress for a player while playing in the FIBA for sure, that Paul George incident was just a coincidence and not a curse,


For sure imagining it then it will be a solid and hard-fought even for Germany while this Serbia with Bogdan Bogdanovic in the team has proven really effective in this league What if Nikola Jokic is in here It will be unfair for the other team, and right now the other team is really making progress and great competition in the level of the NBA so this is really a serious progress for the whole world leading back then,

It starts with the bookies but but the odds sway based on the amount of bets that come in.  If big money comes in on Germany than it will lower theor odds even more.  That's why popular NBA teams like the Lakers always have terrible odds because people bet on them a lot even when they shouldnt be.

I also think they are a little bit better than Germany, but some sports bookies do not think they are. The odds are saying that Germany is slightly favorite in this match. Maybe they are considering that Germany have beaten the USA so they may be the better team. But I disagree. I think Serbia is better between these two. They have a better defense and offense. But we will see by tomorrow. It will be a good match-up.



On the other hand, the USA is the heavy favorite to win the battle for bronze against Canada.

I will place my bet tomorrow. I am still not yet decided which team to support.


Yeah, they will have to field their best players again because they were embarrassed by losing to Germany and if they win against Canada, will just settle for bronze. Maybe, they will form another dream team in Olympics so they will secure the gold and impose their dominance in basketball. But I do not think Lebron James will be included in the lineup. Maybe Durant and Curry will still be good next year for the Olympics.

I am curious if Lebron James will still compete at 38 years old. But he is probably the oldest American to play in their team. The same with KD although he is younger so he might really play. Kawhi Leonard has a big contract yet he only played a few games during his stay with the Clippers so I assume that his team won't allow him to play outside the NBA. I heard before that both the US and France want Joel Embiid. Maybe Embiid will finally decide which country he will represent next year. Will it be the defending champions USA or the host country France?

It turns out Germany was the slight favorite to win, but the difference wasn't so significant, so let's call it a 50-50 game. If I recall correctly, this is the first time I've witnessed both teams viewed with equal chances to win, and that makes it very interesting to watch, as fans will be cheering for both. If it had been the USA that advanced to the Finals, it wouldn't be as interesting as it is now, so there's a reason why we witnessed two upsets in the semi-finals.

By the way, fans, please don't miss this game. It will start in less than 24 hours, so bookmark the time of the game and don't forget to bet as well, since this is the last game.

Serbia looks to be better in my mind but I wouldn't be able to say if I am right or not, I could just wait for the finals to happen and see if I am right. I am going to bet a small amount of money for Serbians this time around and see if they will be winning, I bet on Canada to beat them but I was wrong there and Serbia played amazingly as well.

I thought Jokic was playing by the looks of how great they were but the reality is that he wasn't even playing and that means they were playing so well even without him. I hope that he does well enough and they could end up with a good result, I am betting on them to do that so this time around I do not want them to lose to win, I need them to win so I can win with them.
