All my problems have been solved, thanks Freewallet

Lucky you! Today 3 weeks have passed since they kept my BCC. I just sent e-mail to support with my plans for next days about this situation. I'm really curious about their reaction, but as I know them, there will be no reaction or they will answer: "we need more time to perform operation that takes 5 minutes". I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Just cry.

gecox22, we're sorry to hear about your situation! Our support team has already sent you a reply, we're performing investigation on our end as well. Please consider the following facts:

  • You have enabled 2FA on your wallet, and that's the piece of information ONLY YOU have the access to. We are physically unable to get the authentication code to enter your wallet.
  • There was a password reset request initiated from your side, with an email sent to your address on February 15th.

Unfortunately, the transaction was made to an external (non-Freewallet address), so there's not much we can do.

gecox22 all they said is true - if you got password reset message and did nothing about it, it's your fault, but if you have 2FA enabled, password isn't enough, to move coins from your wallet. Anyway, they forget to tell you, that they don't need access to your freewallet account secured by 2FA to move coins from it.

My account was 2fa and password protected. my coins where moved from my account with both so I don't know what to say this isn't my fault. No one even knew I had this wallet I only logged on three times to check my pools depos the wallet was only a month old thankfully and only lost .1 and I never even used the website till I signed in on the website to create a ticket about the my coins being moved. So unless a ghost hacked my phone while I slept which in included a 10 alpha numeric passcode along with the 2fa and the password for the wallet I don't know what to say.

The only other option here is if they didn't steal my coins the app it self I downloaded from google play store is coded in some way to leak information out to some one that works for them or who uploaded the app. I mean I am not the only one this has happened to follow the transaction and see this has happened to numerous people that have used this app. So now what still my fault here.

Oh btw the password reset was me resetting my password so I could log on to the site and submit A ticket since the email I got from them said all tickets created on the app will be closed.

Our team is working 24/7 to assist you with your requests and queries. However, due to the current network conditions and a variety of recent network events, we’re getting more and more support tickets every day. Because of the great volume of support requests, we’re currently unable to do a full research on each of them, as the average research time for a single ticket is around 30 minutes, and with thousands of new tickets coming every day, it would take months to process all of them. That is why we’re closing all open tickets created through the mobile app.

True, however, you're forgetting the fact that there are thousands of hot wallets in the system and private keys to them aren't managed manually.
For sure they aren't managed manually, but for sure you process them in some database, that you have access to and you are able to get the key from this database and use to send coins to my new address. It is just a metter of one query to database and one line command to send coins. About 5 minutes work to someone who have access to this DB. 5 minutes, not over two weeks!

We've already started working on your case and will inform you once your BCH are moved to your new address.
I hear that for 16 days and every day my faith that I will have my BCH back is weaker.

Yes, I think that if you have private keys to specified wallet, recovering by just sending coins from this wallet is as simple as any other operations. I didn't sent BCC to BTC address or something similar. I sent BCC to BCC wallet, to which you have private keys. I'm IT guy and I understand exactly how blockchain works and what can you do if you have private keys.

When I get my ignis?

XmasJohn08, last time we came up with an ETA, everybody got disappointed. We wouldn't want to keep our users in the dark, however, neither we'd like to sound unrealistic. IGNIS is in progress; as soon as it's ready, we'll make sure everyone knows it. Thanks for your patience!

Today is Friday and no replay.

Really? Why I'm not surprised. They also recovering my coins for 10 days from their own wallet. No replay, no coins, no information how long it will take.

winetou, although we're working a lot to make using our apps simple and convenient for our users, it's a bit more complicated when it comes to the technical side of the wallet. We're glad you think that recovering coins can be as simple as sending them, just with a couple of taps; however, it's a complex process that would require both time and efforts by our tech specialists. Keeping users waiting isn't our mission: if it were possible to recover your coins sooner, we'd have already done it. No-one likes to wait, that we know for sure.

I wish I would have seen this before it was to late. I have been using freewallet for the pasted month since I just started GPU Mining. Figured I would search for a eth wallet on android the freewallet.org popped up it looked good I search and saw some good reviews and used it.

Today, after a month of mining my whole balance was transfered out of my wallet with 2fa enable. My Phone is not modded hacked or jail broken. I have not downloaded anything outside of the play store and have antvirus run on my phon every night to insure it stays clean. Other than the pool I am mining on my self and freewallet.org no one esle even knew I had this wallet. I have never sent anything from it and have only ever received. I have logged into from my house three times in the last month to insure my pool was paying out like it should.

I was sitting at my desk at work and my phone lights up and I was like oh a message only to see my ether wallet saying my transfer has been confirmed I am like WTF  open up my wallet and find yep all of my coins have been transferred out of my wallet with this transaction https://etherscan.io/tx/0x3904c5ac8ea8dff7fffd7e6d572c962eeaa894a812fd7ad81168177dc4d84691

So I email support asking WTH is going on and receive these messages.

Good afternoon,

My password and my phone are completely secure. My phone is not jail broken I have not installed anything outside of the playstore. I have never even used the wallet to make a withdraw and only logged on three times in the last month since it was created just to see if my mining pool deposited my mining profits. Other than Freewallet.org and my self no one even knew I had this wallet. Well that and the address my mining pool sent payments too.

This is completely on your end and not mine. My wallet was secured and no one other than my self had access to it and freewallet.org. I have numerous wallets on my phone and no others were compromised.

My password was not duplicated on any other site with my wallet.

Not like any of this matters  and thankfully it is only .1 and some change I lost but I wanted to post just to help more people be aware to stay as far away form freewallet.org as you can.

First and last time I'll use this service...

Wanted some XMR so topped up my ETH account to use the exchange feature.

Sent .05 ETH but the top up account showed .03

Exchange rate was not favorable, got + 0.11522868282 XMR while the more reputable exchangly could have given me 0.15 XMR for .05 ETH.

THAMIR, all exchanges in Freewallet are powered by our partner, Changelly.com. If you'd like to dispute their fees or the exchange rate, please don't hesitate to contact our partner's support: they will be able to review your transaction and get back to you.

There is no question whatsoever that Freewallet is a scam. They first stole over 1000 Ardor from my wallet, and now they stole all my ignis airdrop. They give you spam support messages, claiming to be doing something.
They are doing nothing, 2.5 months for this problem is ridiculous.
They are criminals, pure and simple. I got conned big time by them, but maybe you can avoid this. Just never ever use any of their thieving apps.

Skipspv, sorry to hear you're disappointed! We can assure you that no funds "disappear" from our wallets; nothing can be lost in the blockchain, as you know. Please tell us more about your Freewallet experience: is there a user id or a support ticket number we can check? Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing from you!
