Hey guys, other than burnin who else is building asics with these chips and have proven progress?  I'll buy some Chips if I can see some proof of work, and I wondering its possible to receive the built machine before BFL ships all theirs.  If anyone can address my concerns or don't mind assisting me in finding a person to build me a asic I'll be buying some chips :-)

Thanks

I'm already in discussions with a local manufacturer. I will have a prototype of the Klondike design before next week's end. I'll make a video or some photos at least. Keep you updated on the thread

Only 0.079 BTC per chip and it is escrowed by John K.

This group buy is dead, unfortunately, I wanted to buy in myself.

I've switched over to Steamboat's group buy (on the 2nd batch now) which is also US based.

You can find it here:

If that one doesn't work, I'm going to start my own group buy.

I PMed ragingazn late last night, not expecting a reply just yet. I will update if I don't hear anything tomorrow night.

Refund received.  Thanks ragingazn!

Sorry @sensei, it didn't look like this group buy was ever going to finish. :/

Is there another group buy that's more hopeful?

There is another group buy which is really interested as it is based in asia.

So when you order your chips you can get them mounted and than shipped

Shame this one stalled, I had 5 or so BTC I was trying to get setup to boost my measly 13 chips I ordered from the first group buy. Not nearly enough to make a difference...

Hopefully another local one crops up to hop into.

Ragingazn628, I inquired in steamboat's groupbuy about the possibilities for a) fast, local (to group-buyer) production of mining boards, and b) hosting options (by group-buyer).

For me, if you could address those two topics above, I'd be very interested to join your group buy, and maybe others would be, too.

Thanks.

As to the speculation regarding why is stalled out, it's hard to say. I think part of it had to do with the drop in Bitcoin value making people nervous, part of it was probably the many, many other buys that popped up elsewhere diluting the buying power. Part of it may have been people getting nervous at how many chips have been sold, speculation about rising difficulty with the coming of ASIC products from BFL and ASIC Miner...

Probably a combination of all of the above. I'm bummed. I was hoping to have more chips, but I'll be okay with the few chips I got from the first order.
