Curious, does anyone know what amperage the terminal connector block on each S1 blade is rated for?

By the off chance have you set both connections as static IPs, and the same IP?

The LAN IP addresses are set up manually and are static, distinct and addressed in a range below where my router hands out dynamic IP addresses.

Main router being an ASUS N16 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/08/12) mega firmware which should be irrelevant AFAIK.

For example miners are set 192.168.1.99 then 192.168.1.98 and so on down.

The DHCP server handles the wifi addresses which come in at 192.168.1.100 and up. DD-WRT is pretty good with allowing the use of static IP addresses in conjunction with the DHCP server as long as the addresses are outside of the range the DHCP server is instructed to use which is the case. I can see the dynamic wifi IP addresses it issued through my router GUI and everything appears fine in that regard. Bitmain uses Paragon Technologies for their network adapters all having a MAC Address of 20:59:A0:B2:xx:xx (xx being variable to address the specific device) so they are easily identifiable on the network.
Make it simple, if you're having such problems trying to run two IPs, set them both static and try again. You can't have so many variables and expect to get meaningful data.

I'm having issues with wifi. I can get wifi to work if I have an Ethernet connection to start and then disconnect but occasionally wifi drops afterwards and they stop mining until I reestablish the Ethernet connection.  For some inexplicable reason they will not initiate from wifi. I must establish a connection with Ethernet first and then disconnect the umbilical cord at which point they run on wifi until there's a problem with wifi.

I also have to configure units through the Ethernet connection as the GUI is unresponsive through wifi.

Is there a way to fix this?

I suspect I have a similar issue...

I go into wifi, scan and add my network pass etc... it connects great, can access the UI via the wireless address.

The second I unplug the wired connection I cannot access UI  (on either address) and sometimes it beeps at me.  I reboot and nothing generally, except on the wireless wifi I can get the initial black LUCI screen then bam unavailable.

I even tried attaching the wwan and lan interfaces to bridge them but no go.

I'd fight Gandhi.
Just got my unit, and the stickers' IP is 192.168.1.99. When I put it in my webbrowser, I'm brought to a page that says this:
Code:
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:582: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)
stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'pairs'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:582: in function 'createtree'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:230: in function 'dispatch'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function

How can I fix it?

An hard reset should fix it

That worked! Thanks!

Don't bother with cabled antennas, a +8dba, 9" one will go through floors and rooms and entire houses.

Thanks

Is there a decent wifi antenna that one can buy to add some range? I want to setup an ant in another room (about 10-20 feet across one wall)?

Would something like this be compatible with the S1?

http://www.amazon.com/antenna-Netgear-Buffalo-Routers-Adapters/dp/B005DCP280/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395164640&sr=8-2&keywords=wifi+antenna

Never mind. I think this might do:

I'll order one and check

I've seen several different opinions on this so I thought I'd ask here for the definitive answer.  Will one Corsair RM850 power two stock S1s?

Yes, no, maybe - they're all valid answers. You're going to be between 95 and 105% load depending on variance and that's much closer than I would personally run at.

Well, that covers all the bases.  Thanks!  Grin

PM for journalist, typing, and data entry services.
Well I guess you could use a atx 24 pin splitter, jump that, so they both turn on at the same time, but I don't see why you would. Also thanks dogie again!

Can they be linked or does each have to operate autonomously?

I don't know if this was mentioned but I bought my first one with a supply which I thought was undersized, a CX500. It has been running that one fine for weeks now on that supply clocked at 375.
