That was not the case of this young man, though, and that only makes all this situation more tragic, because he seemed to be in the right path to graduade and eventually become a good member of society, which leads me to think he lacked emotional intelligence to realize that ending ones life over gambling losses was not and won't ever be worth it.

I want to believe there's an age limit factor that would have contributed to having such experience in which this young gambler got himself into, parents should not allow their children under the teenage years to participate in gambling and we must keep a surveillance on every of their actions and activities they do behind our acknowledgement, then we could also block some friends influence, i believe such a gambler already had a mislead from someone which tuned his orientation to have thought of killing himself.

All these things are very disturbing and sad.

Yes , family should monitor their child if they are seeing some signs of depression and distress. Maybe he keep that inside him, and he is afraid from getting punish by his parents. I am just too sad that he end up this way and they lose a child . I just hope that parents should monitor their child but not too much to the extent that they are killing their childhood. A lot of teenage suicide happen, and this one is because of gambling and I am very sad to it.

That's works when you are using wifi at your house, how if there is no wifi and all your family members use internet by using their own mobile internet service? Can you control it?
This is why I do prefer to educate them than limiting their internet access.

Even if they win, it will be still a problem for me if my son played gambling game.
I have no idea how can my children access my money in my bank account, no one can access my bank account and debit card.
So it is zero chance to see my children use it for anything, and I also educate them about money management.
