I think it's like that too. Hodl is something that I think will give us an advantage in the future. Because the choice now is to do Hodl for the long term. The person who makes the decision for Hodl is a wise person. You certainly don't want to lose.
Hodl is only intended for long term and short term investment, if the market is fluctuation which will continue up to 10 months. It is not good to make a profit. You have to make diversifying technique coins to earn better in regards with the increasing loses.
Few project can be profitable on the current market. I think that a trading platform is in this category. By having a good price at the starting point HOLD will increase it significantly.
I agree that HODL is more safe way to earn. Today most of my friends who deal with crypto are also holding. I hope we will see better times for trading as well. Atthe moment I sell my altcins and hold in bitcoin and 25% of all earnigs in ETH.
While I'm holding my briefcase. But my coins rose with profit, and then went down. I see that I could make money on this if I sold it and then bought it again.
Cryptos won't be beneficial in a short run. It will always be necessary to learn how to think about long-term gains, It is worth it. This is where you have to apply the concept of hodling. The market currently is down in its prices, selling now will lead not be much beneficial.

Holding is not the only policy that you can apply as an a strategy in this market, but without a doubt is one of the most effective, I know that there are a lot of people that will try to earn money right now by trading their coins but taking into account how volatile and difficult to predict this market is I prefer to hold, not only because it's more effective but because it is also easier. This happens more than half a year. The market is staggering. I keep all the coins in bitcoin. I sell Altcoins and translate into bitcoin.

You can play short term trades in bearish market. You must have noticed BTC price movement. It pumps and dumps back to $6k in short intervals. You can go for futures trading to multiply that effect and earn profit out of it. But only if you know what you are doing. Because loss is in multiplication too.
I support exactly the same policy, and all the coins that I have I have HODL...
Keeping is not the only way, but in my opinion this is the best way to bring profits to investors if you really do not have much time to follow the daily news chart.

Hold is the safest, most powerful and best way. if you are currently holding it then you are safe, and you will not lose money. for me hold like a safe haven. hahha.
when the market is down, I agree that hold is the only policy. but when the market is up, then we can still hold unless if the market can getting up so higher then we can sell the coin. and as long as the market cannot increase higher, then hold still be the only policy. but this will not the only policy if somehow we decide to do scalping trade because the price is up and down and we want to try to make a profit from this so we continue to buy and sell and follow the price.
when the market goes down, most continuous alcoin discount. Maybe hold is essential, because the market up and down. Waiting and patience are important factors for big profits
