I first heard of bitcoin back in about 2013 whilst talking to some guys online while playing a video game, at the time I didn't think much of it, I then heard of it again in maybe 2014 through a friend but again didn't pay much attention, that same friend sold all his coins in 2014 and in 2017 got back in to bitcoin and this time I listened to him and jumped on the bandwagon too.

Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

I was just browsing the internet when I found a "bitcoin mining" site.  Curious,  I clicked on it,  I actually generated a few bitcoins with just my laptop,  but never thought to cash them out.  That was my first experience with bitcoin,  and boy do I wish I had gotten them safe.  If I still had them I'd have $20k or so right now.

Anyone got to know Bitcoin through grid computing? It was through my interest in the SETI project and Folding@Home that I got to know of Bitcoin mining. I think it was mentioned in one of those grid computing forums as there are similarities in that the concept of distributed computing is involved. So I started messing around with GPU mining when a high-end Radeon card made 3 BTC a day, and pretty much stuck around ever since.

I am not a bitcoin but I am always here in bitcoin to help my fellow users to answer their question I also helped them by giving my ideas and knowledge that I know about this currency, because I know some people there is trying hard to strive their goal maybe they want to help also their companions or also they want to rank up to achieve what they want too. I have read some people's opinion which really helps me to gain courage and hope to start a new journey in my life, the difficulties, straggliness and even my family who keeps me happy all the time.

Bitcoin in an island is quite unfamiliar.
The first time I heard Bitcoin last September 2017 from my church mate.
While they were sharing about Bitcoin, the process, etc., I just thought of it as a NETWORKING.
I hesitated to join because I thought it's a scam. But then later on, I joined also because I know,
I can earn some extra for a living.

I heard it from my friends. They were using it to gain extra money so they explained to me everything about it and how it works. So i began claiming from faucets.

I was actually gaining coins from it. It was not much so they explained to me that i needed to invest. So i invested.

A friend of mine introduced bitcoin to me. He asked if I would be interested in signing up for bounty campaigns to earn extra. I didn’t know what to expect and how it works and I was a bit hesitant to say yes at the beginning. Well, he proved me wrong when I got my first pay after a month. Now, I’m trying to work out what I’ve accumulated and do trading, because according to many, it is where the money is.

I first learned about Bitcoin last year during my Introduction to Information Security class, our professor made us watch a video (specifically this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo) and discussed its pros and possible cons in a lecture.

My brother taught me about bitcoin. At first, I didn't understand and I didn't believe my brother and thought that bitcoin was a scam, or another scheme to gather funds from people. However, that was one of my greatest regret. I would've been able to earn a lot of money if I started investing early.

I first heard of Bitcoin in January 2016 but then I didn't understand it and I thought it is to risky. Then in January 2017 a friend told me about the actual price. So I learn more about Bitcoin and tried to understand it and then I invested my first Bitcoin. And I'm really happy about it.
