I don't trade that often anymore and now i only focus on holding for a long time, and to spread the risk, i invest in stocks and crypto so even if crypto is still in the bear market my portofolio won't be affected that much. You should set a target when you buy the coin to determine when you will sell it otherwise you'll lose your opportunity to sell.

Unfortunately, I do not devote time to short-term trading, because I do not have time for it. And capital too. So I'm only doing bounty programs now, in case I get lucky and get paid quite generously.
Managing your risk is not something that only short term traders have to deal with, it is something everyone needs to try to reduce and that includes yourself, how do you reduce the risk that the bounty program in which you are participating disappears and does not pay you? Do you perform your own research? Do you try to see if there are any scam accusations against the owners in the forum?

Of course everyone wants to get a big profit from every business and hopes to be fast in achieving success. But that success will not be achieved without good risk management. I was one of the people who was very risky before I decided to take a certain policy. My simple way that I first did as a step in managing my risk is by putting investment capital into a number of capabilities, which means I don't force myself to put a large amount of capital into debt. I better use my own money because if I put in big capital but I owe it when I experience a fixed loss I will return the money. It will only make me worse and harder to achieve economic stability. Then later I will buy coins when the price is low like the current conditions and will only sell when the price is high as I expected. So I applied a flexibility system which I could become a short-term player and long-term player in crypto currencies.

Risk is not easy to manage but you can manage it with some ways.
I usually reduce my risk by diversify my investment portfolio. If you only buy 1 coin to hold, you can gain much loss if it crash.
Trading short term is not my expert, i often to buy and hold the potential coins in the market.
I also prefer to invest in a few coins at a time so the possibility of getting good coins becomes bigger. besides that I also don't invest in new coins because new coins are still very labile, I prefer coins that already have large transaction volumes, namely coins which are in the top position in the market. that way even though my coins dropped expectations to go up were still very high.

Yes, it probably also can be attributed precisely to the category of risk assessment and acceptance, in general, then probably this is really some kind of solution in order not to spend money and do something to save your deposit.

Personally i'm not depend on one coin or few coins. And also we shouldn't invest our all investment to one or few coins even if they have lot of opportunities. in my opinion we should select at least more than 5 coins. Personally I don't like short term trading.

The best way to reduce risks in cryptocurrencies is to buy coins from the top 20. Also, do not buy only one coin, it is better to choose 5 coins and more.

I'm not very good at trading, so I decided to wait out the storm and not to trade in a falling market. My crypto-portfolio has become much cheaper than six months ago, so I decided to temporarily become an investor Grin

The best way to reduce risks is to invest in different coins. Never invest all your money in one coin no matter how promising it may seem. It's my opinion.

Long time invest is not all altcoins, hold only few coin and rest of the coin sold. By trading we could manage our risks, it's all time profitable.

don't invest in unknown coins, distribute your portfolio.  and I try to take away from the market when it gives
The opinion is really not bad, if you want to really reduce your risks, then it is better not to invest in cryptocurrency at all, so you can save your deposit many times, I think that you wanted to say exactly that? Grin

First of all, I assess all possible risks when entering a project or investment, then I see in which ways I can level this risk; depending on the data I receive, I decide whether the risk is justified or not.
Super, this is already very similar to the truth, because the most important thing in risk assessment is to understand whether you can accept such risks or not. I agree with you that it’s best to think about it directly when investing.

in my opinion big profits also have a big risk. and short-term trading has a greater risk so I don't do it. I prefer to do long-term trading. because it has a smaller risk. and I also always do research on market conditions and coin movements before investing. and I chose to invest in altcoin which already has a large market capitalization. this will reduce the risk of loss. investing in new coins or ICO is very risky.
You are doing things in the right way most of the members of the forum only see the profits they can get with icos and they seem to forget the huge risks they need to face, in my opinion even the the possibility that a coin in which you invest can eventually skyrocket does not nullify the risks, the risk of investing in icos is still higher than the profits it can give me and I do not invest in them because of that.
