When I first got started I invested in altcoins because they were cheaper, and I could afford a larger quantity. I haven't traded any of those alts yet (still in the hodling stage ... especially with this market), but I can say my portfolio is still in the green and with a decent profit. Of course I am aware it could drop any minute.

Well first, there are various amount you could get on investing altcoins depending on situation. For instance, most of the alts and even bitcoin are now in bloodbath meaning the profit will not be that good. And regarding on why everybody wants to invest in alts, simply because it is profitable but as always the more profit comes more risk so you would really gamble if you wanted a profit.

Most of the altcoins are trading at very low prices compared to bitcoin, that means there is a huge potential for growth if you invest your money in it. For example, there are lot of altcoins which is trading near to 1$. If you invest in one of them, and in future if that technology succeed, there is a good chance that, the price could reach 100$ multiplying your investment 100 times.

Every tradable asset has two values, its intrinsic or true value, and the speculative value. Speculative value arise when people consider that asset as an investment fro future on the hope that, in future its price will increase. In the case of bitcoin we dont know the true value, but in most possible way it could be much less than todays price. Reson? Have you ever seen people using bitcoin anything other than for investment?As a currency for buying groceries? paying bills?.So if you bet your money on bitcoin now ,there is a high probability that, its price could drop to its true value, losing your hard earned money along the way. But if you consider altcoins, for most of them, price is much lower, possibly near or much less than the intrinsic value of the underlying technology.

You you find altcoins that have very good features and looks promising, it is very good to invest in it because they are also alternative means to increase your profit in crypto and the amount your earn from altcoin depends on the amount your invested, how high the price of the coin can go and your strategy either to hold for long or short term or even day trading.

i recieved my first profit with a much lower value.but it doesnt stop me from keep on learning about altcoins.When i received my first profit,my wife and i felt very much happy and thankful because we both knew that it was a great start up for us.I will continue to learn,join in bounty campaigns and be more determined and eager to learn about the nature of altcoins and other cryptocurrencies.I believe sooner or later,all ny determination and hardwork will bear fruit of success which is a number of altcoins or cryptocurrencies.

In my humble opinion, and also from my humble experience that I can say, you can earn from alternative cryptocurrencies sometimes even more that you could from Bitcoin, because sometimes they are jumping so hard that bitcoin can never perform.

Everybody wants to invest in electronic money. Because most people want to make a lot of money. How much money is made depends on the ability of each person to be different. And especially the price of high or low altcoins. Every month I earn a few million to spend.

Well as far as am concerned, everyone is responsible for his or her actions in the Crypto decision he made and not blame any financial advisor. There are some trading that will fetch you cool cash in term of profits and some you will lose. Profit on a particular coin can be as huge as possible and no limit, likewise the lose part. Just try to monitor your coins trading and not let greed over shadow you most especially when you are on the winning side.

Well that all depends on how you use your money. Altcoins are difficult because you have to be willing to buy and sell, in my opinion. I've lost quite a lot by holding on, expecting them to bounce back, and they just haven't. Last year, in July time is was a great period for alts, a lot of money was made and there was great stability. It's a bit more of a challenge now. For altcoin success you kind of need BTC to be relatively stable - when it shoots up, alts $ value does as well, but BTC value falls. When BTC falls, it takes everything with it. It's wise to diversify, it's just increasingly difficult to pick the right investments/projects and then also trade well. Using a bot might be the best course of action and take human error and monitoring out of the equation.

I have a friend of mine who has never touched Bitcoin, he's making all his trading, holding and investing process without touching bitcoin, except only the times of transfer needed TOKEN/BTC and then BTC/ETH.

I think there is no special figure. Because the price of all altcoin is not kept stable. It changes up and down continuously.
It also depends on your luck. So in my conclusion, if you are an investor in altcoin, you will not have a monthly payment.

It depands, the investment in altcoin is risky, if we din't do any research beforehand, then it is hard to us to determind whether the project is profitable or not. So it might loss a lot if not research done beforehand, but if we choose the correct altcoin to invest after research, it will be more profitable.
