No they shouldn't. Anytime somebody tries to sell a coin using unsolicited advice (meaning nobody here ever asked you for your opinion), I immediately assume that person is composed entirely of garbage. I don't know how they talk or walk around, but their bones, muscle and cartilage have somehow all been replaced with rotting refuse, along with the thing that is supposed to resemble a brain.

I'll expose myself alright. I'm Jay Kevin Putzier. I have used the name "biomech" or "Biomech" as an online handle since 1989. That's right, prior to the advent of the public internet system. Prior to that, I used several handles over the years, the one most often associated with me was Tachyon_pulse. My identity and skillset have been out in the open for literally decades. So if you bothered to do any research, you'd know that I am not a programmer, and that the closest I've come to being a developer was a brief stint as the public face of Earthcoin. Which I did not do well as, and real life compelled me to quit.

Now, on to some specifics.

One: Not doing research at a minimal level disqualifies you as an expert witness. HoboNickels was programmed initially by several people, two of whom are known to me. I do not have their permission to reveal names. Tranz took it over later. The coin control was not created by Presstab, but it was modified him both prior to and after the launch of HYP. He has told me more than once that his mentor was Tranz, primarily.

Two. Inflationary model. Yes, the BASE minting is 750% per annum. Let's compare that to some other coins, just to see if you have an argument. But let's do it accurately. The 750% is not set in stone, because of the inflation control mechanism which caps subsidy at 1000 coins per block. This means the max is 950,000 per day, which over time is deflationary.

Now, some other coins.

HyperStake, assuming Max Subsidy, not yet achieved: 950,000
Jackpot coin. Not counting staking, for the sake of brevity. Current daily generation 5,168,865.50928
Dogecoin. Low level, totally unknown, unsuccessful coin that no one has ever heard of... 45,000,000

I could keep doing this, but I think the audience will get the point. Minting, while colloquially expressed as interest, is in fact mining. And the rate of reward is not outgrageous by comparison to a number of different coins. It's a steady rate of growth, declining over time by percentage in this case, even though it's initially quite high.

You don't trust the dev's, and you don't like the method of distribution. That's fine and dandy, but it hardly proves malfeasance by either the developers or the enthusiastic community. If this were coming from someone else, I would assume jealousy. In your case, I begin to suspect some other motive, or perhaps insanity per M'Noughton.

Tell me what "revealing my identity" has to do with allowing a mod/hero member to view the pm's between you and David, presstab? The point of crypto is you don't need to trust my identity, everything is in the blockchain. The blockchain proves you and David Latapie scammed your way into over 1 Million HYP (each) at the expense of all your supporters.

But then its all to late, and since ppl are blessed with short term memory, after some 4 years most have forgotten, so it starts all over again.

Well, its save to say that its manipulated BIG time, and many ppl would spend time in jail when they would try to do the same on regulated exchanges like Wallstreet, London, etc.
And even those are manipulated.
Trading on inside information is illegal in the real world, but in the crypto world EVERYBODY would love to have access and act accordingly.
Coordinated pump and dumps also great "fun", for the insiders (whales) that is, average Joe gets screwed as usual.

Even currency, real money can end up as a ponzi.
Plenty of country's where the ppl prefer NOT to use their own country's currency but want USD.

Fair enough. If you look to my previous history, here, I've largely avoided the fights. I got irritated, and responded. You came back the way I expected at first, but then you mellowed out. So... I'll stop. I won't disengage, But I'll cease name calling. It's childish, though it has a strange appeal.

I claim no coins because I've made no coins. Not saying I won't, because it fascinates me. But at this point I have not. As for "hero member", I'm not so sure that's a badge of honor, given that it pretty much directly means you spend too much time here.
