actually, I disagree. We human beings are designed to try to find patterns imom anything we see, gambling included, so when there is illusion of control usually it is because sole gambler has deluded themselves into thinking their slot machine or their game has suffered some bug or malfunction which has allowed the gambler at the moment or take advantage of it and surpass the house edge. It is not only about people being addicted to gambling, it could be a dense of having a reliable strategy, which will eventually fail and end up in losses, whether the person continue do delude themselves and deposits more money into their accounts it would be up to them, u til they actually develop addiction to gambling as we all know it.
