Everyone has his own story about losing and profit. But most of them continued doing it because thay have learned something from the lessons. So don'rt lose heart and keep on moving, you will find the treasure.
That's your faith. Taking the risk in the first place should considered first when you invest in BTC or in ETH. It is like a games you played like you lose or you win. Think positively and learn to wait a little bit to earn big profits.
Oh. Do not blame yourself. Trading is all about speculation, when it goes as expected we rejoice, but when it goes the other way round, we feel we've done the best mistake ever. Recently I also lost a little, but I always believe in the best. This is an experience.
really almost everyone here must have made a mistake but look with that time you sell. what profit have you got now? it will be paid with your regret. do not be too regret focus forward 
Nothing gonna happen thinking of the past when you left everything without realizing the upcoming growth. Better us to keep yourself focused and start holding of the assets for a longer time period. Maybe the holdings you sold might have fulfilled some necessity. So, just try to make yourself happy with that and make further plans for a better portfolio.

Well, I think the best thing you have to get from that experience is to not do it again. As they say, when you do things that resulted to bad outcome, look on the positive side and charge it to experience. If you see it that way, then you wouldn't think to stop and not trade at all, which would even make the loss worst than it is. Losing is always part of trading, sometimes, even if you study all the pertinent data and information, you still would lose at time due to some things that you might have missed out.
Due you not one. I think much more investors and traiders in situation like yours. I am too. If I am looking at estimate balance it looks not bad. BUT few examples 10 000 XEM buyed by 0.08 and sold by 0.25. And same situation with waves. So for me now. Better to hold than trade.
Have to agree, 2018 is a good year for this.

If it helps anyone who wants to kick themselves - the ICO for ETH in Jan 2014 was 1 BTC for 2000 ETH - BTC at the time was a few hundred dollars IIRC
That would of been a nice little payday in todays market but at the time to me it was a massive gamble I couldn't risk

I feel your pain, mate. I've been there too. And the lesson learned: Looking in the projects that you can go LONG with then HODL. Also, avoid emotional trading and Only invest the amount that you can afford to lose.
Something about cryptocurrency is that nobody can ever get it 100percent right...try your best and also hope for the best..so stop beating yourself over it, move on and look forward to new opportunities in the market.

I agree with how others have expressed that at one or a couple of times in our crypto world life, we have done some "STUPID" things because things weren't thought out well or we were so excited and sonwe become very impulsive with things just because the market decides to behave this or that way today. Often, I guess this stupidity results from how we become impatient at times or how we fear that we might lose everything we have placed in the system. I couldn't blame you because for some of us, we have invested all of our money or if not, a huge amount of money into it. Also this stupidity arises from how we become protective of what we already have because we fear we might not get it back again. So I get everyone who has or is going through this moment because I know that to be a trader in this market or any market at all, you win some and you lose some. You only have to hope that things will turn for the better everytime you've done somethig stupid and in this market, it does so just hang in there. We will get through this!
