Note that unless the firmware issues were fixed (your 2 working ones look to be buggy still), you'll still need the workarounds in README.ASIC.

i dont mind the bug workarounds. i just want them to start hashing

can you point me in the direction of the  latest FW for these guys and a manual to update. I have 5 boards total and am migrating to bfgminer. It can detect all 5 but three of them present a very long timeout that prevents them from initializing.

I dont know if its differences in FW since they may be from different batches by looking at the serial numbers.

Code:
 [2014-07-25 12:32:38]  bi•fury by c-scape (driver=bifury; procs=2; serial=14140f3e0211c51; path=/dev/ttyACM3)
 [2014-07-25 12:32:38]  bi•fury by c-scape (driver=bifury; procs=2; serial=14140d020211d3a; path=/dev/ttyACM4)

so it seems that the first two boards are recognized fine, and with the additional parameters, the operate excellent at ~30Ghash; but the other three( from a single subsequent purchase) timeout on detection.

Code:
pi@raspberrypi ~/repos/bfgminer $ sudo ./bfgminer -d? -D -T

Just want to share my opinion about these boards; they rock! Got a DIY1 and DIY2 for about two weeks and i'm very happy with them. Best mining investment i've done so far. Very stable, quiet, easy to assemble and the build quality is really high.

One little question; does anybody know the cgminer config setting or parameter to control the fan speed? It is very quiet, but i believe it still can miss a couple of RPM's Smiley

Thanks for your compliments. The fan is not speed controlled, the hardware has no circuitry for it. If you want the fan to spin slower, buy a fan with a lower rpm spec.

It's a nice sunny day here in Holland, so I am in a good mood Wink and lowered the prices.
Still too much for people looking for a quick ROI, but good for people in it for the long run with these power sipping boards.

If you order at least 10 of a mix (or 10 the same) of the products below, these are the prices a piece including shipment:

Product   #boards   GH/s   outside EU price in $   price including VAT inside EU   price excluding VAT for business owners
DIY   1   25+   $59.99   €53.64   €44.33
DIY0   1   25+   $64.99   €58.11   €48.03
DIY1   1   30+   $74.99   €67.05   €55.42
DIY2   2   60+   $139.99   €125.18   €103.45

If paid in BTC(https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates) we ship the same or next business day.
Bank transfer is possible, but takes longer.

FedEx is handling the shipment.
In exceptional cases I might have to charge you extra to pay part of the shipment cost.

Please keep in mind that the heat sinks are heavy so the shipment cost(included in the prices above) is higher.

You can still make me an offer.

Because some people still ask me to make them an offer, here it is:

If you order at least 10 of a mix (or 10 the same) of the products below, these are the prices a piece including shipment:

Product   #boards   GH/s   outside EU price in $   price including VAT inside EU   price excluding VAT for business owners
DIY   1   25+   $69.99   €62.91   €51.99
DIY0   1   25+   $74.99   €67.75   €55.99
DIY1   1   30+   $84.99   €76.22   €62.99
DIY2   2   60+   $159.99   €142.76   €117.99

These prices are the lowest I can go for small 10 piece orders.
This is already below my cost price, don't expect any lower prices any day soon.
Payment in BTC, I use https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates
Bank transfer is possible, but takes longer.

FedEx is handling the shipment.
In exceptional cases I might have to charge you extra to pay part of the shipment cost.

Please keep in mind that the heat sinks are heavy so the shipment cost(included in the prices above) is higher.

You can still make me an offer for bigger amounts.
But please, don't bid 1 BTC for 40 sets, that's a waste of time.

Fire still hot?

Our school might be interested in one or two of the last DIY units Ben so the students can do some assembly and running of miners for altcoins. My FPGAs blew a gasket in 2013 so need something cheap and easy the students and work with if you have any left.
How about if I send you 10 boards that are either broken or not hashing the minimum 25GH/s that I sell them for ?
Just bare boards, so it's really SDIY (students do it yourself) Wink

Drop me a PM / Email. I think I have to check our budget for this first but ya that is fun... trying to make em work. We will be mining alts and solo etc for practice. Setting up wallets etc. So what I can afford. I will not need them asap as we are off till August 18th.
The idea was to give them to your school for free, just the shipment cost...

That be nice Ben... but we can work something out. We will cover shipping of course.
OK, I am looking forward to your "bid" Wink

That be nice Ben... but we can work something out as it would be good as we have a budget for stuff like this. Or the kids can pay back some of the coins we mine and learn how to send coins etc. We will cover shipping of course.

did that several days ago and got no reply.

Fire sale:
This is the fire sale of the remaining boards.
I have about 40 tested boards ready to be shipped and enough untested ones.
This is the deal: PM me an offer(including shipment) in BTC for any number of DIY/DIY0/DIY1 and/or DIY2 and your complete address and I will get back to you whether or not your offer is acceptable. Shipment will be by FedEx on the next working day at the latest, unless you order more than 50 boards, of which testing will take me a bit longer. If you are in a hurry, you can also make an offer for untested boards.
