The problem is that you estimate investments only from the position of money and their growth. It's wrong. Any prospective project can grow in 3-4 years of work. We need to proceed from this.
Its all worth it specially if you choose those ideal altcoins that will give you more for profit i the future. Invest and hold that's what we need to do right now. Crypto world is just starting.

This year the market has already fallen very deep. Most people have already bought everything they wanted in February.
When the bitcoin price stops pumping and people start buying an altok again with their bitcoins, this can make really big pumps over all altcoys (especially with high market capital / trading volume).
I do not invest at all now. I think now is a very bad time to enter the market and it's better to wait until good news appears
It seems that this is the most profitable strategy now. Bearish trend will continue and it is unclear when it will end. If I wanted to invest in crypto currency now, I would wait for stable growth in a month. Growth that lasts a shorter period does not mean anything.

Smart man. Waiting till the price of a coin drops down to it's all time low is going to give you less risk when you sell it later.
Its true that bitcoin is unstoppable but an investment in altcoins is also a good one because you can also make huge profit on your investment in altcoins. For instance those that were fortunate to participate in Antshare ICO are now millionaires in crypto.
IMO better invest in Ethereum. Also a fundamental and more 'likely' to grow a lot. I see ethereum at least double this year, but bitcoin is still a doubt IMO, since with just slightly more transactions the fees will be an abdomibation again.

People here always think Bitcoin can't go higher, but we always get surprised by a mega bitcoin bullrun in the end. I really don't think 10k is the max or even near the max value of what bitcoin will be.
Yes I agree nowadays Btc is unstoppable its too costly now. Definitely it make sense to invest in Altcoins and it's worth off to invest in Altcoins because that we can easily afford to invest. We have a lots of options in altcoins. but I prefer these five altcoins: Dash, Xrp, Xmr, DeepOnion & PowerLedger, One should not be impatient to sell his/her coins instantly he/she must have patience to hold the coins to get good profit from altcoins.
Altcoin can bypass Beatcoin, but first he will need to show a much greater (real, not future) utility before the Bitcoin ecosystem can add the same functionality.
I think yes, because there are so many projects that have come up with a lot today, but they are tied to bitcoin, so they have to stop and wait until the bitcoin rate goes up I think it's so
Bitcoin is more accessible, as its ecosystem includes more exchanges, traders, software and it supports more equipment. Bitcoin is much more liquid, and the trading volume is greater than that of any altcoyin.
Bitcoin is leading as a means of accumulation for 8 years, leaving no chance for the altcoyins. Bitcoin's safety is much higher in all respects than his younger counterparts.
What's your point exactly??? There is nothing to invest here aside from bitcoin and other crypto currency, they offer services and products but payment or money to use under their program is the usage of Altcoin , have you heard any bounty program here saying use your money or credit card and invest now on our car company?

Investment in Altcoins is always worth because you can afford Altcoins within short budget,BTC is not affordable due to high price.Altcoins like ETH,XPR,XLM,NEO,IOTA,EOS are worth to invest.Currently their is much fluctuation in market and profit rate is higher if you are doing trading sensibly.I have good percentage of investment in Altcoins and due to fluctuation i am earning a lot of profit.So i can say confidently that investment in Altcoins is always worth.
