I wouldn't say it is too complicated for the average folk but I will say the conversation has been distorted as of late as to what is important and that can be harmful for bitcoin's growth long term. Us here we recognize the technology is great but it would take hours upon hours to explain that to the average person. We just need to redirect the conversation back towards blockchain and bitcoin because those technologies are what is really important here.
Don't think so. You don't have to be a programmer to understand how it works.
Moreover, I suppose no need to know how it works at all to use it. Not everybody knows how banking system and stock markets work, still they pay with their money every day. Personally know a couple of guys that made good $ of investing in cryptos, with no idea how it actually works

I think bitcoin is not that "much" complicated as it looks like. However, at first glance, it really looks difficult to handle and understand and such, although there are no such thing as master in such task, so anyone may take a liking and be familiarized as it gets exposed during the course of time.
I wouldn't state it is excessively convoluted for the normal society however I will state the discussion has been twisted starting late in the matter of what is critical and that can be destructive for bitcoin's development long haul. Us here we perceive the innovation is extraordinary however it would take hours upon hours to disclose that to the normal individual. We simply need to divert the discussion back towards blockchain and bitcoin on the grounds that those innovations are what is extremely vital here.
To me, yes, some people say that BTC can help beggars get out of poverty. But this is completely impossible. Currently they are only suitable for some people who know about technology, know how to use computers.
It is complicated at first time. But the time they be able to explore the way how the market works, they gain enough experience and knowledge to successfully engaged in this kind of business.
I think Bitcoin it’s not the problem but how all the different UI and application around it that are making it more complex than it should be

To me, this is definitely the answer. Tried explaining this myself in an earlier response here.
Conceptually, crypto and blockchain aren't that difficult to understand. Certainly, they aren't easy concepts, but having said that, just basic comprehension of the core bricks is within the grasp of the average person, in my opinion.
It's more that the technology around this movement isn't user friendly at the moment. As you said, imagine trying to explain credit cards to people from 100 years ago!
We start as beginner, or noob as they call it on games, we start on scratch, as we learn more on Bitcoin we learn and gather information depending on how much time they spend in learning, some people learn only during their free time, some are learning like students, searching every corner about Bitcoin, and some learn from experimenting like trial and error and via experience.
It is how the level of learning is labeled to anybody. of course if a person is unto holding only it is complicated for him the topic trading and mining same with investing, but some individual are trying to learn little by little with all thus aspects... their is no complicated things on those individual who continue to seek knowledge!

With mainstream media still taking an interest in Bitcoin, do you think we have lost perspective of what is important, and are there to much focus on price? or do you think we will find back to the possibility of bitcoin and blockchain?

yes you are right for ordinary people and new people bitcoin usage there are still many people who do not yet know how to buy and benefit from having bitcoin, therefore there must be education about bitcoin so that can make new players can meamhami how to play bitcoin and menadapatkan profit of bitcoin.
Like the development of the internet, cryptocurrency and blockchain tech will be foreign to quite a few people before it becomes a way of every day life. I think for the average person it's a foreign concept that will gain traction as it's more accepted.
Bitcoin is very popular on the ordinary or average folks or people, but the process of it, on how it works will be complicated to them, it will require many hours of conversation so that they can fully understand it. I think what some of the average folks knew about bitcoin is investing on it, buying some bitcoins using their money but the process here in the forum is very complicated for them to understand quickly.
It's complicated for the people who think inside their box, It doesn't matter how complicated it is as soon as they know the benifits and use of it soon they will adopt it on their own.
No, even the richest people in the world did not just have automatically have the knowledge to do with BTC or how this things work, they also engaged to it little by little until they get the concept, as anybody, they can learn things as long they are willing to.
Yes that is right, it is all about willingness and once you have the willingness to work hard and have patience going through the difficult times then that will lead you to have more and more possibilities and you will probably learn the things in such an easier way. Even the oldest person can learn bitcoin if they will just have the willingness and of course patience.
I think everything if we want to learn with patience, surely all will not be too complicated.as long as the person is willing to be a successful person and never give up certain complicated things will be overcome.

If people who are new to knowing and learning Bitcoin for the first time will be very difficult even if the person is smart. Bitcoin is still very common in the eyes of ordinary people who do not master internet technology. But do not rule out if they can also be successful with Bitcoin. The problem is that Bitcoin is seen as an investment asset instead of a currency. Using it as a currency is still expensive and It's still slow. For the mainstream blockchain technology might be too complicated, and the focus is mainly on the high price bitcoin reached. It will take a while before Bitcoin is used as a currency.

Bitcoin is not complicated for just an average person. You just need to have comprehension and patience when starting in it. Bitcoin will be very easy for you if really know how to understand things that are involved in it. If you now understand the process of trading, buying and selling, mining, and bounty programs, bitcoin will be very easy for you.
