Yes, now there are a lot of scam projects, there are projects that die not immediately, but after a certain period of time. And those projects that live for a long time are much less than 10%.

I will tell you so, until the project began to work and earn something, it is possible to declare it quietly. In my memory, only Ethereum and KamaGames could be proud of it.

It is impossible that all ICOs are a scam, if so, months ago we would be without new altcoins, when instead alts market is growing every week, what happens is that many ICOs are mismanaged or poorly developed, which causes the collapse and end up defrauding their investors.
Yes, poorly developed or unrealistic roadmap. They have no developers , they hire later after ICO sales. Yes, some of them only know the knowledge of blockchain tech but not real developers of this technology. if they are succesful raise money then recruit developers if not the project will die.

The exact figure will be 78% of ICO's turns out to be a scam for this year, 2018. Yes, you read it right, 78%. That is why it is very hard to determine if a coin is legit or not  since a lot of them looks exactly the same. The only difference is that there are ICO's who has more popularity and most of the time they are the ones who were legit. Rely on facts and numbers. Maybe that will help you determine a scam ICO.

Yeah most of ICOs are scam, most of them only raised money and listing in cheap exchange and after that leaving the project. But if you search carefully you will see few project that really really good if you found that you will earn a good money from there and make sure you not throw all your money in 1 project because if price down too you lost your money too...

Although there is a lot of scam, but investors are getting smarter in choosing campaigns, even if fraudsters once deceive someone, the next time an investor will have a more thoughtful act, everyone learns from his own mistakes.

No, Every ICOs are not scammed. There are a lot of ICO is good and they have a big plan for the future. A good ICO project is like a blessing for the crypto world. A good project can make change many things! Blockchain technology enriched with a lot of ideas, but we need more unique project who will be working in a new way! If you research then you will realize billions of USD raised from the ICOs! We should take step against scam ICOs and need to welcome a good ICOs!

Why are many people who speak a lot of ICOs who are scam because it is indeed a comparison with ICOs that really do not scam only a few and can be calculated when compared to the many projects that have come out and have completed the sale of many of them who stopped developing their projects and disappeared, so it's not wrong if they say ICO is a lot of scams.
If you see it especially for this year then it is correct. the scam is indeed quite a lot of even more of the ICO. though indeed there is still that produced but it was closed from a large number of ICO scam going on. First, it is the longer makes investors quite restless and sometimes start reluctantly to enter in the ICO because the scam is too large.

two different points between the term "fraud" and "failed" in ICO sales. If the sales process is not too smooth or at least just touching the forced softcap, the developer will begin to lose enthusiasm and even thwart it with a refund option. This is where many people will say a scam, especially the campaign participants.

many of the ico that appeared this year made the majority lose the original potential of their respective projects, most investors just follow based on feelings or signals. and can be ascertained from 50 existing ICO, only 5 are successful with sales and even rarely get hardcap.

As a whole, no. There are some scams out there, certainly - but the biggest risk is generally that the platform doesn’t get built, doesn’t work, isn’t adopted by a critical mass, etc. (Waves, looking at you.)

About 90% or more of these platforms don’t or won’t get built, either because they lack access to the talent, they pivot, have a bad team, run out of funds, fail to prove concept - all the reasons any startup fails. But that doesn’t mean they acted nefariously.

I believe for lot of projects people are telling it as a scam because of funds. Every projects can't be a scam because some project have really productive concepts. I believe that it will take some time for releasing their products.

Many ICO's are out there to take advantage of others and dupe them but not all of them. There are still some genuine ICO's that can be trusted, although they might be scarce in the system. Just do your research  well and join the right ICO's.

There are scam projects but there are also legit projects out there. People should try to scrutinize projects before supporting such projects. This will help in reducing patronage of scam projects.
