Grin I think top sites will always have something like KYC when they need it. For example, if an address involved with a hacker's deposit to their site, they will need KYC; otherwise, they will get into trouble with the police later.

Why didn't I find this forum earlier??? I fell into the same trap as the author of the thread.

This casino positions itself as a cryptocurrency casino without verifying the player’s identity, as indicated by the banner on the main page “NO KYC for crypto players”. However, according to the rules (42.1), the casino can request KYC at any time for any withdrawal, including when playing with cryptocurrencies.

I believed them and played with cryptocurrencies, but upon payment they demanded that I go through the KYC. If they had not lured me with an advertising banner, I would not have even registered because for me anonymity during the game is the most important thing! I am not going to provide documents, and my payment of $2200 is frozen.

In fact, Justbit is misleading new players by luring them in with false information.

p.s. A year has passed since the first message in this thread, and this damn banner is still hanging on the main page, which indicates that the casino is fraudulent.

You don't need this forum just to find the casino you will be dealing is scam or not because a simple search in Google will drive you to whatever this casino is facing,
anyway you have already scammed and better use this as knowledge to never engage in any gambling site that you did not dig deeper, or better to ask this community first before dealing in any site in the future.

Maybe every casino should be more precise in their statements, especially those that can be interpreted in different ways. The OP is definitely right when he says that he was guided by what he read, but unfortunately things are never that simple, because the real truth is always hidden in the TOS and is written in small letters.

I don't think there is a single online casino that is completely KYC-free unless it is something illegal, which is of course a completely different story.

Op are right  I have come across as situation where it's stated no KYC but at the end I was facing KYC issue that make me losses my coin. They have some hidden information just like fiat bank operator not all information is written to be seen clearly you can only get to know you have signed in certain things you need not to when you have deep challenges they will reveal to you those hidden things.

I will blame you for just one reason, and that reason is that, you saw and read, and also understood what their terms or service said in the section you mentioned, which clearly stated that they have the right to request addictional kyc imformation from their customer for any withdrawals, "Any withdrawals" there simply means any withdrawals, doesn't matter whether you are withdrawing in crypto or not, and this automatically means that, the "no kyc for crypto players" banner they displayed on their home page is completely irrelevant.

If you sue this casino for example, what the lawyers will work with is what is written in their terms and conditions, not what is displayed on their home page, I personally do not see this as fair, but all the same, it's what it is.

When you saw and read and understand what they wrote in their terms of service about requesting kyc for ANY WITHDRAWALS, you simply should have just ignore the banner on their home page and look for another casino if you know that kyc is not your thing, but then, you went ahead to register, deposit and play, this is your mistake and I blame you for it.

This days, it's hard to find a casino where kyc is not present, and currently, if you find a casino that claims to be kyc free, doubt such casino, for the casino is either ran by scammers looking for all means to get people to deposit money the people will never be able to withdraw again, or the casino is desperate for customers and will do any thing to lure customers in.

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
Please do not speak well of this gambling scam company anymore. This kind of behavior, which seizes the prize money without waiting for players to provide documents, is fraudulent. There are too many such companies on forums.
We have good gambling sites that have their announcement thread on this forum. If you are good to read the terms of service the casinos provided, it can save you from problems that can occur when you want to withdraw. I have not seen justbit.io announcement or signature campaign on this forum before. I will not advice anyone to use any casino that do not have signature campaign on this forum because gambling sites that can advertise is a sign that they have money.

Hi there

I have been playing some time now on justbit.io. Won some money, and my account stands approx 8 mbtc. I asked to withdraw 5 mbtc and today they asked me for KYC procedure (ID and other stuff). By their site states explicitly that they do not ask for KYC if crypto was used to deposit. Update: They confiscated today all my winnings without any other notice, nor waiting for me to send them the documents.

You should use my site we don't ask for KYC ever

This KYC is now creating problem in the casino space, I don't know what they are doing with the KYC again. When KYC is provided they would still confiscated the account and if you didn't provide it, they would still do the same so what should we do now? I am really tired of this KYC stuff. Op have you tried to reach their customer care service to know the reason behind? There are some time you have not meant the conditions so you have to contact the representative here if there is any to inform the company what is going on. Even though they know let the representative inform them again then they will tell him the reason why the account was confiscated.

No reason, they just informed me that I can withdraw just my deposit
Is this what they can say?  you can withdraw your deposit amount just like that?

it seems like other scam site that had just forced because of Bitcointalk presence and they have no choice but to release the deposit amount so there will be no Scam accusation to be pointed?

but for me OP  file a proper scam thread here, because site like this is not to be trusted completely .

and since you also mentioned that this is not about KYC, so meaning it is a clear confiscating of funds once players won against their site?

I would rather play in site that has a green flag here than this one , stay away from this site guys .

These casinos are a centralized businesses under the regulatory policies of the government and have no option but to act as directed in order to keep up with a smooth business environment. You may be told in your initials that there's no KYC requirements but that's to a certain limit which they won't obvious make known to you. And that's why it advised to check T&C's of any casino you're registering with. Apart from KYC, get to know their deposit and withdrawal limit policy, and others before jumping in.
Don't go blindly and late come up with tantrum about the aftermath of the whole thing which is partly a fault from you the user too.
The casino is centralized, that is true, but is that the reason the casino should be lying? Or probably you did not understand what the gambler is talking about. Just click on the site and you will see it in front of their site boldly written that KYC is not mandatory, but if you read their terms and conditions, you will see how they make KYC mandatory. Which means the site owners know that there are some gamblers that will register because they said no KYC, but the gamblers will later know if they want to withdraw that KYC is mandatory. That is like scam, the casino owners are liars.

This site is defrauding their crypto players if they implement KYC when they announced on their banners that no KYC for crypto players.    They should hold and be responsible for their announcement or advertisement.  If they intend to KYC crypto users, they at least remove the banner that advertises no KYC for crypto users first.  This way crypto users have no means of resisting the KYC or have a point of defense against their terms.

I agree that a case like this is more likely a scam attempt of the casino in luring crypto players to their platform.
Most of platforms todays does have that similar terms which they would really be asking out some KYC if ever they would really be seeing some suspicious activity or what on which it would really be that a normal approach but if they would really be that showing off that they are that no kyc platform then they should stood into their words or ground and then when time comes that there would be some huge win
then this is where they would really be altering out their terms and changing up on something like this then this site should be boycot and been thrown up for some valid accusations so that people or players
would really be aware on what are the bullshit things that they've been doing. This isnt something that needed or we could really be having on this market.

This is why it would be always ideal that we should stick into platforms which are known or popular rather than on risking on depositing on sites or platforms which are new but
having these kind of behavior which is something unacceptable.

Any official information about they never ask for KYC from their user? I just have visited the site and try to read their terms and KYC policy. what I have found there.

See point 14, where they clearly said they reserve the right to ask for valid identification of a user under the KYC procedure for some cases. For asking KYC you can not say they are scams. Maybe they have found something suspicious.

Here you have it, folks. Another casino using the KYC ploy to rob players who are trying to withdraw.

I absolutely doubt that justbit have looked at these 0.005 BTC, done some blockchain analysis and decided that this 0.005 BTC is fraudulent, involved in money laundering or anything at all criminal. OP, I suggest that you ask them for proof that you violated section 14 and that if they don't provide it, you'll be sounding the alarms everywhere. That's what I would do.

You can probably be sure that those coins won't come back either without taking a stab at their public reputation and/or a hell of a fight...and of probably all of your identigying information. I'm sorry for your loss.

Do not expect a gambling website to tell you that they will ask for KYC verification after you win some money, if you want to gamble and don't want to pass KYC make sure you ask from the team direct or find a decentralize casino, if they exists, the most important thing to do once you open a gambling website is to read their ToS carefully.

I believe that the majority of casinos today need their customers to pass KYC, I have decided to stop fooling myself that some gambling website is different, they are all almost the same, and the verification requirement is what they are asked to do or they risking prohibition.

Always assume that they are lying if they are telling there's no kyc. Asking directly doesn't really help your situation when they are lying. Almost everyone of them comply with AML laws so they are required occasionally to do KYCs. And when they are working outside of areas that don't require for you to do kyc in any situation. Then assume that your money inside that casino is not protected by any legal entity either. It's just your trust to the casino and that they would deliver.

A lot of casinos use "no KYC on deposit" as a marketing strategy. You should have read the rules of their casino website before you made an account and deposited your money there. It baffles me that there are so many people who completely ignore the Terms and Conditions and then proceed to lazily do as they like before they are faced with reality.

Obviously there is no such thing as a legitimate and licensed non-KYC casino because they have to follow laws and regulations, otherwise they would not be allowed to offer gambling services, especially in countries which strictly demand such regulations to be implemented.

Right now your only choice is to present your KYC to them. If you live in a country which is restricted by their ToS then they will disable your account. You will still have a right to take back your full deposited fund amounts, but not your winnings.

With regulations and authorities right up their nose, casinos are compelled to ask their customers for KYC so that there are basically no cases of money laundering and other illegal activities and they comply with the AML and other rules imposed by the authorities especially if they have acquired licenses to operate legally.

Users who don't like doing KYC or providing any personal information will likely be out of options very soon since almost every casino, even the ones that aren't currently having this rule, will start asking for KYC from their customers.

Yes, friends, most casinos will never say that they will ask KYC to users who get big wins, there are even some casinos that state in their TOS that KYC is not needed, but when gamblers win large amounts, they will ask for it as a withdrawal requirement that will be done so that reading the TOS also cannot be a certainty when it comes to KYC questions.
I have encountered cases like this several times and it is very concerning because gamblers who should be able to enjoy their winnings must be made difficult by KYC, even though at the beginning they played quietly and comfortably while still gambling anonymously.
While this is common sense, at the same time if a casino lies about their policies so blatantly then I need to wonder what other information are they hiding from their gamblers, are they manipulating their games as well? Do they have hidden conditions on the bonuses that you receive? And as such I discourage anyone from gambling at a casino that is so open when it comes to their supposed KYC policy, only to change it when it does not suits them anymore.

Reading up TOS is the most important and if possible then make out some screenshot and put up a date which do serve as a proof if ever they do make out some claims that they are totally that KYC-less kind of gambling site or company on which on the time that you do make up some huge win then they wont really be asking out for such verification or condition. Its true that most casinos now are really that having on the same terms and conditions on which they could really be able to ask out some verification if they do see something suspicious or simply if they do wanted to do so.

This is why it would be always that ideal on sticking into the current popular ones that even if they do have that kind of TOS, the  rate of verfication isnt really that something you can called to be shady.
There are still sites or places on which you could really make still some good game and doesnt worry about whether you would really be getting paid or not.
