A gambling site can state that you do not need to provide KYC before you can withdraw, but know that it would also be stated that they can ask for KYC at anytime. Those gamblings sites are centralized, because they do not require KYC for withdraw do not mean they can not request for KYC at anytime.

It requires KYC.

2. To withdraw funds from the account, the user is required to complete identity verification through kyc procedure at his user’s account. justbit reserves the right to check user’s identity and source of deposited funds prior to processing payouts and to hold withdrawals for the time needed to check the user’s identity. in case of false personal data provided by the user, the withdrawal can be denied and the user account can be cancelled. the user will be informed thereof by email noted at his/her user’s account.

It was obviously clear that OP did not read the terms and conditions before engaging with the casino. These are the common problems with most gamblers, they fail to take out time to read rules and guidelines governing a casino just because of the bonus at the  first instance so they hurrily do get registered targeting  to get the bonus forgetting that every platform have their terms of engagement. Their memory forget to tell them about reading the company policies before making deposit as that should be the next line of thought upon any gambler wanting to make deposit  into his or her casino wallet address on their dashboard.

Another issue I seem to understand is that people do not ask questions to under after they must have read through a policy not clear with them. They just assume that they are ok with it and forgetting that what they have read has a legal backing and as a matter of fact, it is a clause ready to hold them down but out of ignorance, they fail to understand that there must be a reason for that clause and fail to come here for questioning the various representatives of the casinos they want to engage with to get clarity before engaging them with their funds.

Hi there

I have been playing some time now on justbit.io. Won some money, and my account stands approx 8 mbtc. I asked to withdraw 5 mbtc and today they asked me for KYC procedure (ID and other stuff). By their site states explicitly that they do not ask for KYC if crypto was used to deposit. Update: They confiscated today all my winnings without any other notice, nor waiting for me to send them the documents.

"Confiscate" is the wrong term here. Only the government can confiscate something. This casino simply stole your money. Angry
I don't get it. Why would a casino ask for KYC and then seize all the money without waiting for the user to upload documents?
Somebody is hiding the truth here. OP, did you do something wrong on the casino? Did you somehow break the Terms of Service of that particular casino? If the sincere answer is no, congratulations, you got scammed.

No reason, they just informed me that I can withdraw just my deposit

At least you've got your initial deposit and you should be thankful with that, do you ask what could be the reason why they didn't give you your winnings? because of the KYC? for me it seems that could be the valid reason and you are lucky that they allow you to withdraw your deposit wherein most of the casino do freeze your account not unless you submit your KYC

This KYC is now creating problem in the casino space, I don't know what they are doing with the KYC again. When KYC is provided they would still confiscated the account and if you didn't provide it, they would still do the same so what should we do now? I am really tired of this KYC stuff. Op have you tried to reach their customer care service to know the reason behind? There are some time you have not meant the conditions so you have to contact the representative here if there is any to inform the company what is going on. Even though they know let the representative inform them again then they will tell him the reason why the account was confiscated.

See point 14, where they clearly said they reserve the right to ask for valid identification of a user under the KYC procedure for some cases. For asking KYC you can not say they are scams. Maybe they have found something suspicious.
They stated it that KYC is required for withdraw. Check it again.

But if the user is suspicious, they can ask for KYC again. I have seen many sites that like doing that, asking for KYC again or asking for another documents to make sure that the user is not trying to manipulate with fake identity.

I can understand @OP's argument.  Although there are written rules about KYC, their front page announces that there is no KYC for crypto users.  And @OP is using cryptocurrency, so this can void their TOS regarding KYC.

https://i.imgur.com/RRj7jnG.png

If they don't honor this banner then they are defrauding their crypto players since the banner is created to mislead players into believing something for the platforms gain.

Today they confiscated my winnings. This is not about KYC at all, is about the money. Simple as that. And I'm not from any prohibited country listed on their site, as someone here mentioned. In the case their KYC was absolutely needed, I would do that but that's not fair at all because their site has a banner that No KYC needed and that was the reason I chose Justbit. I found out about them at casino.guru where they have a pretty good rating. So we talking about nothing here. they just confiscated my winnings and left my deposit on my account. You do the math...

Seems have misunderstanding with justbit.io KYC procedure, there are not required with KYC for deposit only and you need KYC for withdrawing, check back with Justbit.io policy about withdrawing fund on second points there are clearly explain about the rule for withdrawing,

"To withdraw funds from the account, the User is required to complete identity verification through KYC procedure at his User’s Account".

You can upload your ID and back later after KYC approving then try to withdraw will process or not, if have problem after success KYC but not ability for withdrawing you can back later here and complaint about Justbit.io policy.

https://justbit.io/pl/policy/payment/

They stated that KYC is required according to the piece of text and link you provided, yet if you initiate a session with their live chat it will confirm that you don't need kyc meanwhile they're requesting for kyc and that's what is confusing us and also the reason why Op is mad at the casino, it's more like they baited him.
Yes, and as a gambler who don't want to pass KYC and just play on casinos. However, it there is some confusion and it seems that it's very misleading for them, then I don't know, I might not trust that casino.

The problem is that when you have a good winnings and wanted to withdraw that and you can't because the casino without your knowledge, will ask for a KYC. So going to be a dilemma whether we want to pass KYC or not and let that winnings like just be confiscated by them.
Whether you want to pass KYC or not first carefully check the casino rules very well, as a gambler this is your job, whatever happens after is not the casino's fault, it's the gambler's fault. For those that hate KYC, always look out for KYC requirements because there is a 90% chance that an online Casino will ask for KYC verification.

This brings back a memory, something like this have happened to a close friend of mine, he makes a deposit on a gambling platform for bonuses and on the same day he withdraws BTC but he was blocked, I just see this rules on the website OP is talking about and I've forward this image to him as well.

We do need to be very careful with the rules and regulation of online gambling platforms.

Just I tought on any kind of thread.

Never trust any kind of casino who are offering Non-KYC even they said that, because most of the time their term & condition is always stated about "KYC" with some condition. Only trust casino without KYC from On-chain Gambling.

Never and ever take any kind of word from casino.
correct , and I think the main objective of OP here is to enlighten everyone that never trust all casino that tries us to believe that they will not ask for KYC because in the end while we are winning against them, surely it will be implemented as they have all the reason and capacity to do so.
for OP sorry that he needs to experience this first before preventing in the next event in other site, and for him to get his money , I believe that it is best to comply in KYC because there is nothing to do here but that.

Building my own Dreams!
Are you joking me?! Check the front page of their site. It states explicitly "No KYC for crypto players"
It's called as gimmick or misleading marketing strategy, don't really believe what you see in the front page because the true information is shown in their terms of service. There are many casinos using this no KYC strategy in their title or front page, but after some users check in their terms, they found if the casino is asking to submit KYC whenever they want. After some discussion, the casino don't get any negative trust which mean many users think it's not a problem.

Yes, the text you see in the front page is just like a fresh tag or you can say a catchphrase which is used to attract new players to the site. In the similar manner, OP is also attracted to the site also. But as everyone mentioned here, before trying any new site, we should always check the terms and conditions mentioned, and should follow that. And if we see then they have written clearly that, they will need KYC in order to let players withdraw. So can’t blame the casino either. It’s your fault that without checking the site thoroughly you deposited there. Now nothing can be done. Complete the KYC, and get your funds back.

That is true, the site said no KYC.

Gambling sites use this to scam somehow, this one is obvious. If you can do KYC, do not let your money stay on the gambling site. And if I were you, I will never use the gambling site again after I withdraw my money.

But very important, always read gambling site terms and conditions.
Seeing how boldly the no KYC is written in the first page it now clear that just is scamming that user because with that attestation is then means KYC is 100%, not a requirement on the site and if the casino asks for such from any player under any circumstances to then mean that they're out to scam.

Because there is the possibility that even if the ops should pass all their KYC requirements they will still not allow him to get verified since this is a deliberate plot to scam him.

I asked them on email if they have found any suspicious activity from me other than winning approx 100 euro. I asked if my IP or device was used on other accounts. They just do not want to pay, is that simple
if that is the case since you are already convinced (according on how you are answering here)  just accept that fact and move on, and if you wanted the forum to tag them or do something for them to comply or pay you back then sorry to say but the forum cannot force the site to perform such that , and besides you did not even bring any proofs here about your convo or anything to support your claim.

and besides don't be fooled of those banned because most of the casino trying to lure their crypto players on that promises but if you through their ToS then you will find that in any way they can ask KYC if they think you are suspicious or something relevant to that and this is what happened now.

Justbit.io is nice casino and please don't get me wrong or thinking I'm attesting for them but most times we gamblers have to take out our time to read the terms and conditions of a casino before jumping into it and coming out later to make complains when things finally don't turn out as expected.

Op I think most of this casinos are centralized and I at some point already know that no matter how much a casino promises not to ask for KYC, I know at some point they might get to ask for it especially if the withdrawal get bigger and made at once.
I understand how you feel but since this involves your money, please go ahead with the KYC and just get your money.

I don't think there is a single online casino that is completely KYC-free unless it is something illegal, which is of course a completely different story.
None unless their not licensed, but as long as it is a licensed casino there will request for KYC verification at some point even though it is not stated in their TC, thos practices have become the major challenges faced by gamblers who are. Looking for-free casinos.

And the major challenges will arise when a player is already registered with false information such as country of residence if a player supplies a fake country of resident thos may lead to him never being able to pass the KYC processes due to mon corresponding information.

So gamblers should settle within the mind that KYC is mandatory and should try to get the account verified before making any financial commitment in the account to avoid problems in the future.

First thing to be asked,

How you do able to find out this casino? Via on this forum or on online? - This is usually the problem if people wouldnt really be making some initial research first before proceeding on making up some deposit.
We do have lots of popular and reputable gambling sites in the market today which you could really be able to assure that you are on the right place with your  deposit. It do really sucks when a certain
platform do promise out and say that they are KYC-less but later on on the time that you do ask for some withdrawal, they do suddenly ask out those things which does imply
and shows that they are shady as hell and something that could be called as scam casino.

I tried to open this casino site and found this message.

There might be that OP is trying to play at this site from a prohibited location and maybe using a VPN. If anyone can confirm people from which countries are allowed to play here and OP belongs to which location ?

Although this may not be relevant in this case but since you have asked for it, below countries are not allowed to access this gambling site.

I hope OP is not from any of these countries, otherwise even if he does the KYC, he will not be allowed the payment and may get his account ban permanently.

I just checked the Justbit.io site and found out that it actually does require KYC. You may read it here
https://justbit.io/pl/policy/payment

Anyhow why are you so disappointed that they will not pay you ? You simply do the KYC and they will definitely pay you. The reason for not paying you can be only two, first that they are a scam site and won't let you withdraw or maybe you have done something wrong against thier policies and they have the right not to let you withdraw.
