Preferably only successful projects do this or vice versa projects that want to save on people and do not want to pay the promised price!

This is not the flag to good or bad project - everyone could ask you to send your personal data and use whatever they want.
I wonder if such projects launch such procedure before the bounty is over Grin

I can't say that KYC for bounty hunters is something terrible. I just don't like when projects introduce it after the bounty campaign ends and initially it wasn't planned. It's unfair i think.

Kyc is really a good thing. But, As much  as I do not like this, although, I do understand the idea behind it, as many individuals out there are using multiple accounts when applying, so this would only  be eliminates through or by doing kyc.

In my own opinion, requiring KYC for bounty hunters in order for them to receive their rewards is not a good practice. Most bounty hunters are teens or maybe non-working people, so where they going to get some valid ids or government ids to verify their KYC. I think it is better for the management team of an ICO or a bounty to require mandatory KYC verification/s for investors only because there are some investors that lives in the restricted area which an ICO not prohibit to buy their tokens.

I don't do bounty that asks for KYC. Its too risky for so little money. If anyone askf for KYC just for airdrop, i suggest just drop it and find some better option with less risk involved in it.

Often KYC for bounty hunters is used only to reduce the number of recipients of the reward. At the same time, are used most complex forms for filling in personal data  and as a result of this KYC passes only a small part of the participants of bounty campaign.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

This is a very negative trend for bounty hunters because KYC disabuse the decentralization concept of the blockchain technology proposed by our founding fathers. So I totally disagree with the idea of imposing KYC on bounty hunters. Thanks

Nope, not doing that. If and when that begins to be implemented on a bigger scale, I will probably stop doing bounty programs. And to be honest, bounties are lasting much longer than they used to. They arent the same anymore.

why would you stop? if a bounty is verified to be legit , then i think it is safe to do a kyc and give out some of our personal infos. kyc maybe help out to improve  a bounty program because only real people can now join and abusers or cheaters will now be remove because they cannot possibly provide a kyc for all of thier dummy accounts.

but of course , these kyc thing will cause a lot of noise if ever they will implement it on a bounty campaign or signature campaign.

Well, I am working for a software editor. When I talk with the finance sector, they are all going for KYC solution. And the regulation at all level require often to be compliant or regarding implementation of new rules in specific sector. So, I am not afraid of this kind of thing. But I always, give such information with trust-able organisation.

as a bounty hunter probably not to do this type of a procedure kyc because for me kyc is only for the investor or to the people willing to invest in ico..I do not think all campaigns require KYC.. we should more vigilant before we send any KYC documents to anyone because
its very dangerous..some Bounties and ICO's now are scams...

agree with you, but I also think that KYC requirement has to do with checking out that bounty hunters are not US residents, because we all know that most bounties do not allow people from US to participate, as well as investing in ICOs. On the other hand, I think they should be conducting that the other way and not by checking out our personal data. We could submit something else, where it would be apparent that we are not for the US. I don't know, maybe our scanned bill for electricity, where our address can be clearly seen and we could omit the name and surname perhaps. But how would they know that this is our bill then? I also see many bounties popping up where they require your selfie along with ID so they can assure the ID is yours.

Maybe a solution to this would be a KYC platform, where we would submit our documents only once and then verified ICO companies would have an access to them. But in order for me to do that, ICO companies should also provide their documents for me to see. It should be mutual. Unfortunately, I don't see this happening anytime soon, because some people will hand over their documents without even thinking about the possible consequences for a couple of bucks. Especially people from third world countries, where $ is worth a lot more.

I think this is a positive development trend, so if someone wants to use multiple accounts, then KYC can avoid this problem.
So I'm supporting the bounty thread that needs KYC. Grin

Since bounty hunters only get very little of the total ICO poll, i see no need stressing them with KYC. Meanwhile, some at the completion of each bounty, only see back and wait for their token in their ETH wallet without knowing that KYC is required.

I dont really think KYC is very useful to me because our information can be use to some dangerous transaction and it might ruin us. KYC is not applicable for a bounty hunter because there are many people who don't want it because it is really important to keep personal information.

Yea some bounty do it to verify some important information about holders of their tokens so that they don't get into legal trouble in future.I think if you ain't comfortable with it just don't bother doing the bounty.

This is to avoid the multi entry, this is good for the projects to distribute there rewards equally but for hunters it is not good. But this kind of projects that requires a KYC is most like a good project so its all worth it.
it is actually right, by doing kyc, multi accounts will decreased, those cheaters must be disqualified for not following the rules. and I think your identity is safe after you passed the kyc. so there's nothing to worry about.

Do you think so? You give your ID to unknown person, how can you trust somebody who will pay you only after getting your personal data?

KYC for bounty hunters?
I don't really oppose KYC rule for bounty hunters because it help check cheaters, but my concern is that it also deprived some real bounty hunters of their hard earned tokens. Which is a disadvantages to me.
