Hi all,

Appears that LTC is crashing but so is BTC and so many other alts. IMHO Litecoin has a huge fan base in the most populous country - China. I doubt they are just going to roll over and accept their losses. I am pretty sure that there will be a small revival coming in the near future. Not that i trust LTC or anything, but if you are a trader... good time to buy! Grin
The thing is changes is necessary for a specific crypto-currency to achieve development and progress. Because just like other crypto-currency out there in the market lite coin experience ups and downs to it price in accordance to the move of its stock on the market specifically on trading. And as you said Bitcoin also suffers on value or market crush but it is just a part of Bitcoin development on price, value , transaction and security. So it could be better if we will continue the support on litecoin as well as Bitcoin in a part of support of all crypto-currency in transaction.

Well Litecoin is still breathing until now. This is an old thread already. So I guess it is safe to say that the official declaration of Litecoin being officially dead is not at all official.  Grin Litecoin is still out there kicking but not so hard as compared when it first came out. That is sad.

Main problem is when this tread was created litecoin went down in price and OP assumed that this is goodby. Haven't seen dead coin from early development is long time but have seen that many ICOs are falling. Lite is for me one of good ones and you could say predicted coin on the market. He as any other coin on the market have ups and falls but this is normal.

I dont see any problem with litecoin at all, last 7 months all altcoins jumped with bitcoin at 2000 dollars, but bitcoin now is already 4000 dollars, altcoins crashed a lot loosing the gain from the last months, litecoin as some people say is good to make tests to then bitcoin improvements, transactions are very fast and it wont die.

Litecoin isn't dead yet but i'm surprise this thread isn't Tongue

Seriously though, how can you think any of the coins in the top 10 in 2016 can be dead by 2017? Anyone have any examples of this?

Litecoin is the eldest coin in cryptocurrencies world but I don't no what is happening. Is it true or right? Litecoin's  price is continuing to rise up. I think will be continued in future.

Yeah. Litecoin may be one of the oldest cryptocurrencies in existence, but it has managed to remain stable and stronger than ever. Since it was the first altcoin to successfully activate SegWit solution, it shows that the Litecoin community and its miners are well more organized than those of Bitcoin's.

What took Bitcoin a couple of years to reach consensus among the miners to scale, Litecoin has managed to do so within a very short time frame. Being an extremely fast cryptocurrency with cheaper fees than Bitcoin, I'd say that Litecoin's future is very bright.

Of course it lacks development and innovation, but as long as it remains actively traded on the markets, and supported by its community, it will be here to stay. The way I see it, LTC may continue to rise in price for years to come. Just my thoughts Grin

A stupid think about your LTC. The price may fall but it does not mean it is dead. On the platform as well as the LTC supporters community, it still deserves a potentially worthy coin investment

That is how these coins work the value can change rapidly it may go up and it also goes down but it doesn't mean that it is dead. I think as long as there are people using these coins it wouldn't disappear right a way.

This isn't the first time the price has decreased, so I'm not sure what your point is.

Since people are using LTC, it isn't dead. It value might have decreased, but that doesn't mean it is dead.
So its not already dead but for them it is
The price is decreasing and its the sign

BITCOIn is gold then LTC is silver. Maybe LTC prices are down but that does not mean it will not grow
