I prefer reliability. Risk is not for me. Therefore, I believe that it is necessary to invest for a long period. For this, I choose the most proven crypto currency-bitcoin.
How do you feel about long-term investment? Do you see the priorities in this? What do you think is the reason for this? Where to invest in your opinion?
I think that now it is better to work with short-term investments. Bitcoin is still too weak, therefore the market can collapse at any moment. And for a short time you can earn by buying altcoins. But this is also a very risky option. 
I think that for long-term investments is to choose those coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, ADA, Ripple, OMG, Stellar and Waves. These coins should definitely survive and grow over the next two years, which is why investing in these coins is worth it in the long run.
All I know is that long-term investment is good for getting big profits. If we can manage our assets well and are not easy to panic, we can certainly make a bigger profit. I think long-term investment is a good choice to save our assets well. Well long term investment is pretty neat specially if you're financially stable. If you're on a crisis might as well do short term investments. The goal of long term investment is to maximize your profit within years time (5-10 years) if you could wait patiently and calmly, then it might be good for you. Priorities, depends on your stability. Since you're here in the forum, investing in coins would be worth the shot. Do invest in BTC and ETH (if you have the money) but if not, go with other altcoins fit to your budget. Of course, thing through what you're up against and don't be scared if the value's dropping. It'll certainly come back twofolds or more.so I strongly recommend to use coins with rapid development for long term investment.
In my opinion, long term investment won't give profit if you don't sell cryptocurrency at any time. A lot of people couldn't sell crypto in 2018 winter, because was very greedy and thought that cryptocurrency will grow up always. I'm sure, in near 1 year will be good pump, but again a lof of people won't have time to sell bitcoins or altcoins. To sum up, don't be greedy and be ready to ready cryptocurrency someday!
If you want to invest for a long term, you should to chose good, altcoins, but not from top 10,I think, because they may will rise and make bigger profit, than now.

When it comes to long term investment I will bet in ETH and NEM these coin is my best but to be honest I don't have any of those 2 coins. I wish I could have an extra money so that I can buy and hold for a long term. I have a coin which I think is a hidden gem the name of the coin is ELLAISM. Better to take a look this coin, it is ethereum-like.

In my opinion you should invest now in Bitcoin with a long term strategy of about four months is best. With the Altcoins we invest in the short term by the life cycle of the lesser Altcoins.

Long-term investment is a very good idea, but I don't think I'll go into a long-term investment with ICO coins. I would rather go with strong coins such as BTC/ETH etc. I'll just invest and forget about it for a while. It's best you choose the best coins in te market to invest. But, I personally do not like the idea of long-term cause the time it would take me to wait, I would have done a lot with other ideas that come my way.
investing in ICOs is indeed more risky because ICO tokens still do not necessarily have a market or the results of ICOs do not always meet objectives even now there are many ICOs that fail.Long-term investment really has to choose coins that are already on the market, especially coins above the market like ETH and NEO. I think it's safer.
